possible_o may_v say_v if_o we_o must_v thus_o pray_v without_o cease_v how_o shall_v we_o be_v assure_v that_o god_n will_v hear_v we_o if_o it_o be_v our_o duty_n to_o pray_v how_o shall_v we_o never_o pray_v to_o he_o be_v there_o any_o so_o desperate_o profane_a so_o utter_o lose_v as_o to_o any_o show_v and_o appearance_n of_o goodness_n as_o not_o to_o have_v pray_v or_o perform_v one_o duty_n unto_o god_n in_o his_o whole_a life_n why_o now_o to_o what_o end_n have_v you_o pray_v and_o perform_v these_o duty_n that_o you_o have_v do_v be_v it_o not_o for_o salvation_n and_o do_v you_o work_v for_o salvation_n and_o at_o the_o same_o time_n believe_v you_o can_v not_o work_v no_o this_o be_v impossible_a that_o ever_o any_o man_n practice_n shall_v maintain_v such_o a_o contradiction_n what_o ever_o man_n opinion_n be_v yet_o their_o work_n show_v that_o they_o think_v they_o have_v power_n for_o something_o must_v be_v do_v though_o it_o be_v but_o formal_o though_o power_n to_o work_v out_o their_o own_o salvation_n by_o they_o man_n do_v apprehend_v some_o worth_n some_o value_n and_o sufficiency_n in_o what_o themselves_o do_v in_o order_n to_o eternity_n for_o bid_v they_o forgo_v and_o renounce_v their_o own_o work_n their_o own_o righteousness_n this_o be_v a_o hard_a say_n and_o they_o can_v as_o easy_o renounce_v and_o forgo_v all_o hope_n of_o happiness_n and_o salvation_n as_o renounce_v their_o own_o work_n now_o whence_o be_v it_o that_o man_n be_v so_o difficult_o bring_v unto_o the_o renounce_n their_o own_o work_n why_o it_o be_v because_o by_o they_o they_o hope_v to_o obtain_v salvation_n and_o can_v there_o be_v such_o a_o principle_n in_o man_n and_o yet_o at_o the_o same_o time_n believe_v and_o think_v that_o they_o can_v work_v out_o their_o own_o salvation_n it_o be_v very_o evident_a therefore_o whatever_o notion_n man_n may_v take_v up_o to_o stop_v the_o mouth_n of_o a_o clamorous_a conscience_n when_o it_o call_v they_o to_o work_v and_o labour_v yet_o they_o do_v not_o themselves_o believe_v what_o they_o say_v concern_v their_o impotency_n but_o do_v real_o think_v they_o have_v a_o power_n to_o work_v out_o their_o own_o salvation_n four_o do_v you_o never_o when_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n have_v be_v deal_v with_o your_o heart_n and_o conscience_n when_o it_o have_v be_v persuade_v you_o to_o enter_v upon_o a_o course_n of_o obedience_n do_v you_o never_o procrastinate_v and_o use_v delay_n do_v you_o never_o stifle_v the_o breathe_n and_o resist_v the_o motion_n of_o the_o holy_a do_v nothing_o he_o have_v indeed_o do_v all_o for_o we_o that_o belong_v to_o he_o as_o a_o mediator_n merit_v and_o procure_v grace_n and_o salvation_n but_o he_o never_o intend_v to_o do_v all_o for_o we_o as_o to_o the_o convey_n of_o they_o to_o we_o and_o make_v of_o they_o we_o no_o that_o be_v still_o to_o be_v do_v by_o we_o and_o therefore_o though_o christ_n work_n alone_o be_v meritorious_a yet_o by_o the_o act_n of_o faith_n we_o must_v apply_v his_o merit_n and_o by_o the_o act_n of_o obedience_n confirm_v they_o to_o ourselves_o i_o may_v add_v also_o when_o christ_n conscience_n the_o gentile_n say_v the_o apostle_n to_o the_o roman_n that_o have_v not_o the_o law_n 15._o rom._n 2.14_o 15._o do_v by_o nature_n that_o be_v by_o natural_a conscience_n the_o thing_n our_o knowledge_n of_o what_o be_v duty_n and_o what_o be_v sin_n be_v in_o a_o great_a part_n deface_v yet_o this_o knowledge_n the_o scripture_n do_v abundant_o supply_v to_o we_o and_o give_v forth_o in_o prayer_n it_o fill_v all_o heaven_n with_o its_o sound_n but_o where_o be_v the_o encouragement_n unto_o prayer_n in_o all_o this_o if_o thou_o do_v belong_v to_o god_n thou_o may_v have_v great_a encouragement_n to_o prayer_n from_o the_o consideration_n of_o his_o omnipresence_n for_o because_o of_o this_o there_o be_v no_o prayer_n of_o a_o child_n of_o god_n but_o shall_v be_v hear_v in_o heaven_n though_o it_o be_v utter_v in_o secret_a for_o consider_v that_o though_o christ_n as_o man_n be_v only_o in_o heaven_n yet_o christ_n as_o god_n be_v everywhere_o present_n and_o hear_v the_o prayer_n of_o all_o man_n in_o the_o world_n those_o that_o be_v wicked_a he_o regard_v no_o further_o but_o give_v they_o the_o hear_n but_o for_o his_o own_o he_o regard_v their_o prayer_n and_o present_n what_o he_o hear_v from_o they_o to_o god_n in_o heaven_n christ_n make_v his_o omniscience_n and_o omnipresence_n to_o be_v subservient_fw-fr to_o the_o work_n of_o his_o mediatorship_n one_o of_o his_o office_n be_v to_o be_v a_o faithful_a highpriest_n and_o a_o advocate_n to_o god_n for_o we_o and_o christ_n be_v such_o a_o advocate_n that_o hear_v all_o the_o with_o a_o holy_a awe_n and_o reverence_n of_o god_n in_o all_o our_o prayer_n and_o duty_n and_o in_o the_o whole_a course_n of_o our_o life_n and_o conversation_n certain_o it_o be_v a_o excellent_a meditation_n to_o prepare_v our_o heart_n to_o duty_n and_o to_o compose_v they_o in_o duty_n to_o be_v much_o ponder_v the_o omnipresence_n of_o god_n to_o think_v that_o i_o be_o with_o god_n he_o be_v present_a in_o the_o room_n with_o i_o even_o in_o the_o congregation_n with_o i_o and_o likewise_o in_o my_o closet_n and_o in_o all_o my_o converse_n and_o deal_n in_o the_o world_n how_o can_v it_o be_v possible_a for_o that_o man_n to_o be_v frothy_a and_o vain_a that_o keep_v this_o thought_n alive_a in_o his_o heart_n if_o the_o presence_n of_o some_o earthly_a person_n strike_v a_o awe_n in_o our_o heart_n when_o we_o come_v before_o they_o how_o much_o more_o shall_v the_o consideration_n of_o god_n presence_n affect_v we_o with_o a_o holy_a fear_n suppose_v a_o angel_n shall_v fly_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o we_o that_o be_v here_o present_a with_o a_o rush_n and_o dazzle_a glory_n how_o will_v it_o make_v all_o our_o heart_n beat_v and_o throb_v within_o we_o it_o will_v make_v we_o soon_o abandon_v all_o those_o vain_a thought_n that_o now_o we_o feed_v upon_o those_o thought_n that_o eat_v out_o the_o heart_n and_o life_n of_o duty_n how_o much_o more_o shall_v it_o affect_v we_o and_o fill_v we_o with_o holy_a fear_n that_o god_n be_v now_o and_o always_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o we_o who_o glory_n stain_v and_o sully_n the_o beauty_n and_o extinguish_v the_o light_n of_o angel_n oh_o that_o god_n that_o be_v always_o present_a with_o we_o shall_v be_v worship_v and_o serve_v with_o a_o holy_a fear_n and_o remember_v with_o the_o great_a veneration_n now_o to_o imprint_v this_o the_o more_o deep_o i_o shall_v suggest_v two_o or_o three_o particular_n first_o because_o god_n be_v in_o all_o thing_n therefore_o he_o see_v and_o know_v all_o thing_n the_o
