up_o many_o doubt_n and_o jealousy_n and_o mis-giving_a thoughtâ—â—_n both_o concern_v god_n and_o concern_v a_o man_n own_o condition_n and_o concern_v the_o duty_n and_o service_n which_o be_v offer_v up_o to_o the_o lord_n they_o will_v make_v the_o soul_n to_o doubt_v of_o the_o goodness_n of_o god_n to_o doubt_v of_o the_o freegrace_n of_o god_n to_o doubt_v of_o the_o faithfulness_n of_o god_n of_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n sure_o say_v unbelief_n the_o lord_n be_v not_o so_o gracious_a as_o thou_o have_v take_v he_o to_o be_v thou_o have_v rest_v upon_o the_o arm_n of_o his_o mercy_n and_o thou_o have_v believe_v his_o grace_n to_o be_v sufficient_a for_o thou_o in_o every_o condition_n thou_o have_v look_v towards_o he_o as_o towards_o a_o infinite_a compassionate_a god_n friend_n god_n can_v not_o deal_v so_o with_o child_n not_o to_o give_v one_o word_n of_o comfort_n not_o one_o word_n of_o answer_n oh_o sure_o i_o be_o a_o hypocrite_n for_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o upright_o be_v his_o delight_n and_o if_o there_o be_v any_o truth_n of_o heart_n in_o i_o the_o lord_n will_v give_v out_o a_o answer_n and_o thus_o the_o devil_n and_o the_o flesh-raise_a many_o jealousy_n and_o fear_n about_o the_o soul_n eternal_a state_n or_o three_o if_o the_o devil_n and_o the_o flesh_n prevail_v not_o so_o far_o as_o to_o cause_v the_o soul_n to_o question_v the_o goodness_n of_o god_n and_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n or_o to_o question_v its_o own_o sonship_n yet_o they_o will_v prevail_v so_o far_o as_o to_o make_v the_o soul_n question_v his_o service_n and_o his_o duty_n which_o it_o have_v perform_v to_o god_n oh_o sure_o i_o have_v not_o speak_v to_o the_o lord_n as_o i_o ought_v sure_o i_o have_v not_o be_v fervent_a in_o spirit_n serve_v the_o lord_n my_o prayer_n have_v be_v but_o word_n of_o my_o own_o not_o the_o teach_n of_o his_o spirit_n if_o it_o have_v be_v his_o own_o spirit_n the_o lord_n will_v have_v hear_v his_o own_o spirit_n deadness_n and_o distraction_n there_o be_v so_o little_a life_n and_o so_o little_a spirit_n the_o spirit_n speak_v so_o low_a that_o the_o lord_n can_v hear_v and_o he_o will_v not_o hear_v and_o when_o it_o be_v so_o that_o we_o pray_v cold_o and_o lazy_o we_o make_v but_o a_o light_a matter_n of_o it_o and_o be_v not_o find_v cry_v to_o the_o lord_n with_o our_o heart_n no_o wonder_n fault_n be_v their_o own_o when_o as_o we_o shall_v put_v up_o our_o petition_n and_o shall_v not_o be_v look_v after_o our_o prayer_n shall_v not_o be_v find_v look_v up_o as_o david_n speak_v psalm_n 5._o 3._o in_o the_o morning_n will_v i_o direct_v my_o prayer_n unto_o thou_o and_o will_v look_v up_o i_o will_v wait_v for_o a_o answer_n and_o hear_v what_o god_n the_o lord_n will_v speak_v psalm_n 85._o 8._o but_o when_o we_o do_v not_o regard_v our_o prayer_n than_o no_o wonder_n there_o be_v no_o answer_n i_o say_v therefore_o the_o lord_n be_v sometime_o silent_a to_o the_o they_o that_o so_o the_o trial_n of_o this_o woman_n faith_n may_v be_v the_o great_a but_o i_o rather_o conceive_v that_o the_o disciple_n in_o these_o word_n do_v pray_v for_o she_o they_o do_v perform_v a_o office_n and_o duty_n of_o love_n in_o intercede_v with_o christ_n for_o she_o for_o first_o of_o all_o it_o seem_v they_o be_v very_o earnest_a in_o it_o they_o come_v and_o beseech_v he_o say_v send_v she_o away_o sure_o if_o it_o have_v be_v only_o to_o stop_v her_o mouth_n to_o dispatch_v she_o the_o disciple_n will_v not_o have_v be_v so_o earnest_a with_o christ_n to_o beseech_v he_o good_a nature_n will_v have_v teach_v they_o more_o compassion_n and_o therefore_o grace_n teach_v they_o much_o more_o and_o then_o they_o seem_v to_o be_v affect_v with_o the_o cry_n of_o the_o woman_n she_o cry_v after_o we_o send_v she_o away_o it_o break_v our_o heart_n the_o cry_n that_o she_o make_v thou_o son_n of_o david_n have_v mercy_n on_o i_o and_o three_o it_o be_v disciple_n to_o present_v the_o condition_n of_o other_o unto_o the_o lord_n in_o prayer_n as_o well_o as_o their_o own_o doctrine_n we_o find_v that_o moses_n the_o servant_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v much_o in_o this_o work_n much_o in_o pray_v for_o other_o and_o intercede_v for_o israel_n upon_o every_o occasion_n he_o step_v in_o and_o plead_v with_o god_n for_o the_o people_n and_o so_o david_n in_o many_o of_o the_o psalm_n he_o present_v the_o condition_n of_o other_o unto_o the_o lord_n and_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n himself_o who_o be_v our_o great_a pattern_n be_v much_o in_o the_o performance_n of_o this_o duty_n john_n 17._o you_o shall_v â—nd_v there_o that_o the_o most_o part_n of_o the_o time_n that_o christ_n spend_v in_o prayer_n it_o be_v spend_v in_o pray_v for_o other_o there_o be_v but_o one_o petition_n that_o he_o put_v for_o himself_o in_o ver_fw-la 1._o and_o repeat_v again_o in_o ver_fw-la 5._o and_o all_o the_o rest_n of_o his_o time_n it_o be_v of_o pray_v for_o other_o rom._n 1._o 9_o he_o do_v appeal_v to_o god_n that_o he_o do_v not_o neglect_v this_o duty_n for_o god_n be_v my_o witness_n who_o i_o serve_v with_o my_o spirit_n in_o the_o gospel_n of_o his_o son_n that_o without_o cease_v i_o make_v mention_n of_o you_o always_o in_o my_o prayer_n and_o so_o 2_o tim._n 1._o 3_o i_o thank_v god_n who_o i_o serve_v from_o my_o forefather_n with_o pure_a conscience_n that_o without_o cease_v i_o have_v remembrance_n of_o thou_o in_o my_o prayer_n paul_n do_v remember_v other_o before_o the_o lord_n but_o in_o the_o open_n of_o the_o point_n i_o shall_v show_v you_o first_o who_o they_o be_v that_o we_o be_v bind_v to_o pray_v for_o who_o condition_n god_n people_n be_v bind_v to_o remember_v before_o the_o lord_n of_o this_o woman_n faith_n under_o that_o trial_n though_o christ_n give_v she_o no_o answer_n she_o give_v not_o over_o her_o request_n though_o christ_n be_v silent_a and_o will_v not_o open_v his_o mouth_n to_o give_v she_o one_o word_n yet_o she_o continue_v cry_v the_o disciple_n say_v as_o much_o lord_n send_v she_o away_o say_v they_o for_o she_o cry_v second_o and_o for_o her_o deportment_n under_o her_o second_o trial_n she_o come_v and_o worship_v and_o say_v lord_n help_n and_o so_o she_o continue_v still_o in_o duty_n and_o be_v find_v wait_v upon_o the_o lord_n in_o a_o humble_a posture_n she_o fall_v down_o and_o worship_n she_o worship_v christ_n and_o continue_v in_o prayer_n lord_n help_z three_o the_o behaviour_n of_o this_o woman_n under_o the_o three_o trial_n she_o meet_v withal_o be_v in_o the_o 27._o vers_fw-la and_o she_o say_v truth_n lord_n yet_o the_o dog_n eat_v of_o the_o crumb_n which_o fall_v from_o their_o master_n table_n when_o christ_n tell_v she_o that_o he_o must_v not_o take_v the_o child_n bread_n and_o cast_v it_o to_o dog_n see_v how_o her_o faith_n now_o work_v and_o though_o this_o seem_v the_o great_a discouragement_n yet_o her_o faith_n do_v make_v a_o excellent_a improvement_n of_o it_o and_o from_o this_o discouragement_n her_o faith_n take_v â—ice_n and_o wax_v strong_a and_o strong_a truth_n lord_n yet_o the_o dog_n eat_v of_o the_o crumb_n that_o fall_v from_o their_o master_n table_n she_o grant_v all_o that_o christ_n say_v she_o grant_v the_o proposition_n and_o application_n of_o it_o she_o grant_v that_o she_o be_v no_o better_a than_o a_o dog_n and_o yet_o her_o faith_n make_v a_o improvement_n of_o that_o which_o seem_v to_o be_v the_o great_a discouragement_n she_o fetch_v a_o argument_n from_o thence_o if_o i_o be_v a_o dog_n let_v i_o have_v the_o crumb_n if_o a_o dog_n thy_o dog_n and_o i_o will_v not_o away_o from_o thy_o foot_n but_o let_v i_o have_v crumb_n that_o fall_v from_o the_o child_n table_n so_o you_o have_v the_o carriage_n of_o this_o woman_n under_o her_o several_a trial_n four_o faith_n you_o have_v the_o victory_n of_o her_o faith_n in_o the_o 28._o verse_n o_o woman_n they_o and_o their_o heart_n for_o the_o mercy_n so_o that_o it_o be_v in_o abundance_n of_o grace_n and_o mercy_n and_o love_n that_o the_o lord_n be_v please_v many_o time_n not_o to_o give_v out_o a_o present_a answer_n to_o his_o people_n for_o all_o the_o time_n the_o lord_n be_v silent_a he_o be_v prepare_v of_o mercy_n and_o goodness_n for_o they_o he_o be_v make_v of_o the_o mercy_n fit_a for_o his_o people_n the_o mercy_n shall_v be_v ripe_a and_o the_o mercy_n shall_v be_v sweet_a and_o wholesome_a and_o do_v they_o good_a at_o the_o heart_n when_o the_o lord_n have_v thus_o prepare_v mercy_n for_o they_o and_o fit_v they_o for_o the_o mercy_n they_o shall_v have_v the_o mercy_n see_v what_o be_v say_v in_o isa_n 80._o 18._o and_o therefore_o will_v the_o lord_n wait_v mercy_n and_o glorify_v god_n for_o mercy_n god_n wait_v for_o such_o a_o time_n and_o therefore_o you_o see_v it_o be_v for_o gracious_a end_n that_o god_n many_o time_n seem_v to_o be_v silent_a for_o a_o season_n and_o give_v not_o one_o word_n in_o answer_n to_o prayer_n as_o christ_n here_o to_o this_o woman_n of_o canaan_n for_o the_o application_n of_o the_o point_n application_n first_o it_o speak_v sad_o of_o they_o that_o never_o regard_v whether_o the_o lord_n give_v a_o answer_n or_o no_o to_o their_o prayer_n that_o pray_v and_o pray_v and_o look_v not_o after_o a_o answer_n how_o far_o be_v such_o man_n and_o woman_n from_o the_o disposition_n of_o god_n child_n a_o gracious_a heart_n can_v but_o be_v affect_v when_o it_o speak_v to_o the_o father_n and_o the_o father_n give_v no_o answer_n and_o therefore_o sure_o when_o man_n and_o woman_n make_v many_o prayer_n and_o look_v not_o up_o for_o a_o answer_n that_o regard_v not_o whether_o the_o lord_n answer_n or_o not_o either_o they_o be_v none_o of_o his_o child_n or_o else_o under_o a_o sore_a temptation_n for_o let_v i_o say_v unto_o you_o that_o though_o it_o be_v not_o for_o your_o prayer_n that_o god_n do_v regard_n prayer_n yet_o if_o you_o do_v not_o look_v up_o for_o a_o answer_n if_o you_o do_v not_o regard_v your_o prayer_n neither_o will_n god_n regard_v your_o prayer_n and_o let_v i_o say_v further_o that_o this_o be_v a_o great_a dishonour_n to_o god_n oh_o what_o a_o 〈◊〉_d be_v it_o it_o be_v a_o loss_n to_o god_n and_o it_o be_v a_o loss_n also_o to_o the_o soul_n for_o a_o man_n to_o lose_v all_o his_o prayer_n it_o be_v a_o loss_n indeed_o when_o as_o a_o soul_n do_v not_o regard_n whether_o god_n answer_v or_o no_o god_n lose_v he_o lose_v that_o glory_n which_o will_v redound_v to_o he_o in_o the_o answer_n of_o prayer_n call_v upon_o i_o say_v god_n in_o the_o day_n of_o trouble_n and_o i_o will_v deliver_v thou_o and_o thou_o shall_v glorify_v i_o now_o if_o the_o soul_n call_v upon_o god_n and_o do_v not_o observe_v whether_o god_n hear_v or_o no_o it_o can_v glorify_v god_n for_o the_o return_n of_o prayer_n but_o god_n lose_v that_o honour_n that_o thankfulness_n and_o that_o love_n and_o obedience_n and_o that_o dependence_n which_o a_o answer_n of_o prayer_n may_v engage_v the_o soul_n to_o and_o as_o god_n lose_v so_o the_o soul_n lose_v oh_o they_o that_o look_v not_o after_o the_o return_n of_o prayer_n they_o lose_v that_o which_o will_v make_v their_o soul_n rich_a for_o a_o merchant_n to_o lose_v all_o his_o return_n it_o will_v make_v he_o a_o poor_a tradesman_n in_o conclusion_n that_o soul_n that_o do_v not_o look_v after_o the_o return_n of_o prayer_n lose_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o faith_n and_o dependence_n and_o experience_n for_o god_n by_o give_v out_o a_o answer_n to_o the_o prayer_n of_o his_o people_n he_o do_v encourage_v they_o and_o engage_v they_o to_o trust_v in_o he_o at_o all_o time_n so_o long_o as_o they_o live_v they_o that_o lose_v the_o return_n of_o prayer_n lose_v the_o strengthen_n of_o faith_n and_o the_o engage_v of_o their_o heart_n to_o god_n but_o second_o let_v i_o speak_v to_o such_o poor_a soul_n as_o be_v in_o the_o same_o condition_n with_o this_o woman_n of_o canaan_n that_o have_v pray_v and_o have_v not_o meet_v with_o one_o word_n of_o answer_n poor_a soul_n be_v this_o the_o condition_n of_o any_o of_o you_o i_o know_v that_o it_o have_v be_v and_o may_v still_o be_v the_o condition_n of_o the_o lord_n dear_a servant_n they_o may_v pray_v and_o the_o lord_n may_v seem_v to_o give_v no_o answer_n remember_v it_o be_v so_o with_o david_n jeremiah_n and_o habakkuk_n and_o with_o christ_n himself_o and_o let_v i_o say_v this_o unto_o thou_o that_o if_o thou_o regard_v any_o iniquity_n in_o thy_o heart_n any_o know_a sin_n that_o thou_o regard_v or_o connive_v at_o or_o if_o there_o be_v slightness_n in_o the_o performance_n of_o thy_o duty_n or_o content_a thyself_o with_o a_o slothful_a performance_n of_o thy_o duty_n or_o thou_o do_v not_o regard_v thy_o prayer_n when_o thou_o have_v put_v it_o up_o to_o the_o lord_n for_o this_o we_o have_v cause_n to_o be_v humble_v and_o no_o wonder_n the_o lord_n do_v not_o answer_v our_o prayer_n but_o now_o if_o thy_o own_o spirit_n and_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n can_v testify_v that_o thou_o desire_v to_o regard_v no_o iniquity_n in_o thy_o heart_n but_o to_o walk_v up_o to_o thy_o duty_n and_o desire_v to_o be_v conformable_a to_o christ_n and_o desire_v to_o cry_v in_o faith_n and_o to_o wait_v upon_o the_o lord_n for_o a_o answer_n be_v of_o good_a comfort_n
though_o thou_o do_v not_o meet_v with_o one_o word_n of_o answer_n from_o the_o lord_n though_o thou_o have_v cry_v night_n and_o day_n week_n month_n and_o year_n and_o have_v not_o meet_v with_o with_o one_o word_n of_o answer_n yet_o be_v comfort_v this_o may_v be_v the_o condition_n of_o god_n own_o people_n and_o let_v i_o say_v further_o by_o way_n of_o encouragement_n that_o the_o lord_n he_o extend_v much_o good_a to_o thou_o in_o this_o defer_v and_o delay_v to_o give_v out_o a_o answer_n it_o be_v for_o gracious_a and_o merciful_a end_n to_o thy_o soul_n that_o the_o lord_n do_v not_o give_v thou_o the_o present_a mercy_n thou_o pray_v for_o he_o will_v exercise_v the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n he_o will_v exercise_v thy_o faith_n and_o patience_n and_o he_o will_v fit_v thou_o for_o a_o answer_n but_o how_o shall_v i_o know_v that_o the_o lord_n have_v hear_v my_o prayer_n prayer_n i_o answer_v thus_o first_o of_o all_o by_o that_o secret_a support_n by_o those_o secret_a hint_n which_o the_o lord_n be_v please_v at_o one_o time_n or_o other_o to_o bring_v to_o thy_o spirit_n some_o hint_n of_o life_n some_o hint_n of_o comfort_n sure_o if_o thou_o have_v observe_v while_o thou_o have_v wait_v upon_o the_o lord_n there_o have_v be_v some_o secret_n hint_n of_o comfort_n that_o after_o thou_o have_v be_v before_o the_o lord_n thou_o have_v be_v at_o ease_n and_o thy_o trouble_n be_v not_o so_o great_a as_o it_o be_v hannah_n when_o she_o pour_v out_o her_o soul_n before_o the_o lord_n she_o be_v in_o great_a distress_n but_o before_o she_o go_v away_o the_o lord_n hear_v her_o prayer_n and_o this_o be_v the_o sign_n there_o be_v some_o ease_n in_o her_o spirit_n her_o burden_n be_v take_v off_o a_o great_a deal_n refresh_v in_o her_o spirit_n and_o so_o though_o the_o lord_n have_v give_v thou_o but_o the_o least_o hint_n of_o comfort_n the_o lord_n have_v hear_v thy_o prayer_n and_o in_o due_a time_n he_o will_v give_v a_o full_a answer_n second_o thou_o may_v know_v that_o the_o lord_n have_v hear_v thy_o prayer_n by_o that_o strength_n he_o have_v give_v thou_o to_o go_v through_o thou_o be_v under_o sore_a affliction_n and_o temptation_n such_o as_o be_v ready_a to_o break_v thy_o very_a spirit_n to_o make_v thy_o soul_n fade_v and_o faint_v and_o yet_o thou_o be_v support_v thou_o have_v cry_v to_o the_o lord_n and_o thou_o say_v thou_o have_v no_o answer_n why_o do_v nor_o the_o lord_n support_v thou_o if_o the_o lord_n do_v support_v thou_o and_o bear_v thou_o up_o under_o thy_o burden_n he_o do_v in_o some_o measure_n answer_v thou_o or_o else_o how_o come_v it_o to_o pass_v thou_o have_v not_o sink_v under_o thy_o burden_n when_o paul_n beseech_v the_o lord_n under_o his_o temptation_n he_o pray_v thrice_o that_o be_v often_o that_o god_n will_v take_v off_o the_o messenger_n of_o satan_n the_o temptation_n be_v not_o take_v off_o ah_o but_o paul_n be_v hear_v in_o his_o prayer_n in_o that_o the_o lord_n do_v his_o word_n there_o be_v letter_n that_o god_n have_v write_v with_o his_o own_o hand_n god_n have_v subscribe_v i_o jesus_n testify_v these_o thing_n there_o be_v the_o hand_n of_o god_n and_o of_o christ_n in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o therefore_o if_o thou_o will_v remember_v god_n converse_v with_o the_o word_n of_o god_n three_o wait_v upon_o god_n in_o every_o ordinance_n for_o all_o ordinance_n be_v give_v for_o this_o end_n to_o remember_v god_n the_o word_n the_o supper_n every_o ordinance_n of_o god_n be_v give_v that_o so_o the_o soul_n may_v see_v god_n and_o remember_v he_o and_o therefore_o when_o thou_o wait_v upon_o god_n in_o any_o ordinance_n let_v this_o be_v the_o end_n that_o thou_o propounde_v to_o thy_o soul_n to_o remember_v god_n four_o lay_v up_o all_o the_o love-token_n of_o god_n whatever_o experience_n thou_o have_v meet_v with_o from_o god_n in_o make_v supply_n to_o thy_o want_n comfort_v of_o thou_o support_v of_o thou_o these_o of_o god_n love_n to_o thou_o that_o thou_o may_v come_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o this_o that_o god_n be_v thy_o friend_n thy_o father_n thy_o near_a and_o dear_a relation_n for_o the_o â—ore_o the_o soul_n know_v this_o the_o more_o it_o will_v remember_v god_n it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o a_o child_n shall_v forget_v a_o love_a father_n that_o a_o wife_n shall_v forget_v a_o love_a six_o look_v up_o to_o the_o lord_n to_o increase_v thy_o love_n to_o he_o for_o the_o more_o love_n to_o god_n the_o more_o thou_o will_v remember_v god_n but_o where_o there_o be_v little_a love_n to_o god_n there_o be_v little_a remembrance_n of_o god_n and_o the_o reason_n that_o man_n remember_v god_n no_o more_o be_v because_o there_o be_v so_o little_a love_n in_o their_o heart_n towards_o god_n if_o a_o man_n love_v his_o friend_n he_o will_v remember_v he_o and_o not_o forget_v he_o o_o therefore_o be_v ashamed_a that_o no_o more_o love_n shall_v be_v sparkle_v in_o thy_o heart_n to_o god_n when_o so_o much_o love_n be_v flame_a in_o the_o heart_n of_o christ_n towards_o thou_o and_o therefore_o brethren_n beg_v it_o of_o the_o lord_n that_o he_o will_v shed_v abroad_o more_o of_o his_o love_n in_o your_o heart_n and_o blow_v up_o thy_o spark_n to_o a_o flame_n that_o thy_o soul_n may_v be_v fill_v with_o a_o constant_a remembrance_n of_o he_o seven_o ure_n thy_o soul_n to_o of_o thought_n upon_o and_o therefore_o let_v some_o be_v spend_v upon_o god_n assoon_o as_o man_n wake_v in_o the_o morning_n there_o be_v a_o multitude_n of_o thought_n strive_v who_o shall_v get_v in_o by_o remember_v god_n and_o we_o have_v see_v what_o may_v be_v helpful_a to_o our_o soul_n in_o this_o duty_n now_o let_v we_o look_v to_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n to_o make_v they_o help_v for_o we_o have_v need_n of_o all_o help_n till_o we_o shall_v come_v where_o the_o soul_n shall_v remember_v god_n perpetual_o and_o never_o forget_v he_o heb._n 6._o 19_o which_o hope_v we_o have_v as_o a_o anchor_n of_o the_o soul_n both_o sure_a and_o steadfast_a and_o which_o enter_v into_o that_o within_o the_o veil_n the_o apostle_n in_o the_o eighteen_o verse_n speak_v of_o the_o save_a hope_n and_o the_o use_n of_o it_o he_o set_v it_o forth_o to_o we_o by_o a_o metaphor_n of_o a_o anchor_n which_o hope_v we_o have_v as_o a_o anchor_n to_o the_o soul_n both_o sure_a and_o they_o be_v in_o a_o sad_a condition_n for_o they_o be_v without_o hope_n and_o o_o that_o man_n will_v now_o lay_v it_o to_o heart_n to_o see_v what_o a_o sad_a condition_n they_o be_v in_o without_o this_o anchor_n of_o save_a hope_n you_o that_o be_v without_o hope_n it_o be_v not_o possible_a you_o shall_v stand_v in_o a_o storm_n however_o you_o may_v be_v quiet_a in_o a_o calm_a it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o you_o shall_v bear_v up_o in_o time_n of_o storm_n and_o therefore_o though_o man_n may_v seem_v to_o look_v towards_o god_n and_o seem_v to_o make_v a_o progress_n in_o god_n way_n if_o there_o be_v not_o a_o anchor_n of_o hope_n they_o will_v be_v drive_v back_o again_o cross_a wind_n will_v arise_v at_o sea_n and_o if_o you_o have_v not_o this_o anchor_n of_o hope_n in_o christ_n and_o in_o the_o father_n free_a grace_n they_o will_v be_v drive_v back_o again_o without_o hope_n it_o be_v not_o possible_a you_o shall_v be_v near_o unto_o god_n and_o keep_v nigh_o unto_o god_n and_o what_o a_o miserable_a condition_n be_v it_o to_o be_v without_o god_n in_o the_o world_n true_o so_o long_o as_o you_o be_v without_o true_a save_a hope_n you_o be_v without_o god_n in_o the_o world_n so_o long_o as_o 〈◊〉_d be_v without_o hope_n they_o be_v in_o a_o heartless_a and_o listless_a condition_n where_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n there_o be_v no_o endeavour_n what_o be_v the_o reason_n that_o man_n be_v so_o slothful_a in_o look_v after_o god_n it_o be_v because_o that_o their_o heart_n be_v not_o establish_v by_o hope_n in_o christ_n and_o in_o the_o father_n free_a grace_n where_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n there_o can_v be_v no_o right_a endeavour_n if_o hope_v fail_v all_o endeavour_n fail_v nay_o further_o while_o man_n be_v without_o hope_n they_o must_v needs_o be_v in_o a_o sinful_a pollute_a condition_n for_o it_o be_v hope_n that_o purge_v the_o soul_n and_o purify_v the_o heart_n have_v this_o hope_n let_v we_o cleanse_v ourselves_o and_o he_o that_o have_v this_o hope_n he_o be_v pure_a even_o as_o he_o be_v pure_a he_o look_v after_o purity_n as_o god_n be_v pure_a that_o man_n go_v on_o to_o defile_v themselves_o and_o to_o within_o you_o to_o see_v a_o ship_n drive_v with_o storm_n upon_o the_o rock_n and_o no_o anchor_n to_o cast_v out_o yet_o this_o be_v the_o condition_n of_o many_o thousand_o in_o the_o world_n they_o be_v at_o sea_n and_o ready_a to_o split_v upon_o the_o rock_n and_o no_o anchor_n of_o hope_n o_o that_o the_o lord_n will_v make_v many_o a_o heart_n sensible_a of_o it_o second_o 2._o as_o better_o never_o to_o have_v hope_n then_o to_o be_v disappoint_v of_o your_o hope_n and_o in_o job_n 11._o 20._o the_o hope_n of_o a_o wicked_a man_n shall_v be_v as_o the_o give_v up_o of_o the_o ghost_n it_o shall_v be_v go_v in_o a_o moment_n as_o a_o man_n in_o one_o moment_n he_o breathe_v forth_o his_o spirit_n and_o give_v up_o the_o ghost_n so_o the_o hope_n of_o a_o wicked_a man_n
