arise_v when_o we_o consider_v the_o thick_a darkness_n that_o be_v in_o the_o understanding_n natural_o and_o that_o gross_a opposition_n and_o enmity_n that_o be_v in_o the_o will_n against_o god_n and_o his_o way_n we_o may_v just_o wonder_v how_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o any_o truth_n get_v into_o the_o former_a and_o that_o it_o shall_v find_v any_o kind_n of_o compliance_n or_o favourable_a entertainment_n in_o the_o latter_a yet_o consult_v with_o experience_n we_o may_v see_v that_o the_o truth_n do_v get_v into_o the_o understanding_n by_o way_n of_o conviction_n and_o into_o the_o will_n by_o way_n of_o persuasion_n and_o work_n to_o a_o very_a great_a height_n both_o way_n in_o those_o who_o yet_o do_v not_o gracious_o submit_v unto_o it_o and_o obey_v it_o from_o the_o heart_n and_o if_o we_o lay_v our_o reason_n to_o our_o experience_n we_o may_v perceive_v that_o this_o arise_v 1._o from_o the_o relic_n of_o the_o light_n

performance_n of_o his_o know_a duty_n by_o the_o strength_n of_o some_o temptation_n for_o a_o time_n but_o to_o persist_v in_o this_o to_o make_v this_o his_o constant_a practice_n and_o quiet_a himself_o in_o it_o be_v a_o notorious_a proof_n of_o a_o half_a christian_n but_o this_o let_v i_o say_v to_o you_o who_o be_v complain_v of_o your_o fail_n in_o duty_n and_o be_v deep_o sensible_a of_o your_o wander_n and_o weakness_n and_o your_o soul_n be_v afflict_v for_o they_o and_o you_o be_v fill_v from_o hence_o with_o humble_a thought_n of_o yourselves_o god_n will_v put_v a_o
