for_o the_o wife_n who_o for_o every_o thing_n must_v depend_v upon_o her_o husband_n will_n to_o strive_v and_o wrestle_v with_o he_o if_o therefore_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v to_o be_v obtain_v or_o redress_v be_v to_o be_v do_v by_o he_o and_o can_v be_v do_v by_o she_o reform_v the_o wife_n discharge_v by_o inform_v rather_o than_o by_o reform_v the_o burden_n be_v his_o and_o not_o she_o she_o have_v do_v her_o duty_n by_o entreaty_n she_o be_v discharge_v and_o he_o stand_v guilty_a he_o be_v king_n priest_n and_o prophet_n in_o his_o house_n he_o shall_v answer_v for_o it_o quest_n 2._o quest_n the_o other_o question_n viz._n whether_o the_o wife_n may_v do_v nothing_o but_o the_o husband_n may_v deny_v she_o must_v be_v thus_o consider_v if_o they_o be_v partly_o of_o the_o aforesaid_a nature_n thing_n indifferent_a he_o may_v forbid_v she_o or_o thing_n good_a and_o lawful_a be_v extraordinary_a and_o not_o common_a duty_n of_o religion_n and_o god_n service_n he_o may_v restrain_v she_o but_o he_o do_v evil_a it_o may_v be_v in_o it_o which_o be_v not_o the_o question_n my_o reason_n of_o which_o restraint_n or_o authority_n be_v this_o 30.9_o numb_a 30.9_o where_o moses_n say_v that_o if_o a_o woman_n shall_v vow_v a_o vow_n unto_o god_n if_o her_o husband_n disallow_v she_o the_o same_o in_o the_o day_n that_o he_o hear_v it_o he_o shall_v make_v her_o vow_n that_o she_o have_v pronounce_v with_o her_o lip_n of_o no_o effect_n as_o touch_v common_a &_o ordinary_a duty_n and_o part_n of_o god_n holy_a service_n as_o the_o hear_n of_o his_o word_n prayer_n sacrament_n &_o such_o like_a or_o shall_v command_v her_o thing_n unlawful_a or_o uncomely_a she_o be_v not_o bind_v to_o obey_v herein_o neither_o can_v he_o restrain_v she_o or_o if_o he_o shall_v do_v it_o by_o violence_n she_o be_v excuse_v as_o one_o violent_o hinder_v from_o her_o duty_n and_o he_o shall_v bear_v the_o sin_n neither_o may_v the_o hazard_n of_o his_o displeasure_n wrath_n or_o offence_n displeasure_n the_o wife_n must_v do_v some_o duty_n with_o hazard_n of_o her_o husband_n displeasure_n be_v any_o just_a excuse_n if_o violent_o she_o be_v not_o hinder_v touch_v the_o duty_n of_o god_n service_n which_o with_o patience_n she_o be_v to_o bear_v and_o submit_v herself_o unto_o but_o in_o any_o case_n she_o must_v not_o contend_v for_o any_o cause_n or_o matter_n contend_v the_o
