especial_o they_o shall_v think_v of_o st._n paul_n exhortation_n to_o the_o eph●sians_n chap._n 4._o ver_fw-la 29._o and_o let_v no_o corrupt_a communication_n proceed_v out_o of_o their_o mouth_n but_o such_o as_o be_v good_a to_o the_o use_n of_o edify_v that_o it_o may_v minister_v grace_n to_o the_o hearer_n at_o leisure_n time_n they_o shall_v catechise_v and_o instruct_v their_o child_n on_o the_o lord_n day_n read_v in_o their_o family_n the_o word_n of_o god_n talk_v of_o it_o when_o they_o sit_v in_o their_o house_n and_o walk_v before_o their_o family_n in_o the_o way_n of_o god_n commandment_n when_o they_o have_v perform_v all_o these_o duty_n they_o shall_v shut_v up_o the_o sabbath_n with_o prayer_n and_o supplication_n and_o as_o near_o as_o they_o can_v spend_v the_o whole_a day_n in_o holy_a and_o religious_a exercise_n if_o we_o do_v our_o duty_n as_o we_o ought_v we_o shall_v indeed_o so_o sanctify_v god_n sabbath_n that_o in_o it_o we_o shall_v neither_o think_v our_o own_o thought_n nor_o speak_v our_o own_o word_n nor_o do_v our_o own_o work_n but_o the_o best_a fall_n short_a of_o their_o duty_n and_o do_v not_o sanctify_v god_n sabbath_n according_a as_o he_o require_v they_o may_v hope_v to_o be_v so_o happy_a in_o heaven_n but_o they_o can_v never_o be_v so_o holy_a on_o earth_n yea_o the_o good_a god_n will_v pardon_v those_o that_o set_v their_o heart_n to_o seek_v and_o to_o serve_v he_o though_o their_o fail_n and_o fall_n be_v great_a and_o many_o not_o only_o on_o week_n day_n but_o on_o the_o lord_n day_n yea_o he_o be_v a_o indulgent_a father_n and_o such_o thing_n as_o be_v repute_v by_o some_o to_o be_v great_a sin_n as_o the_o carriage_n of_o bed_n and_o the_o bear_n of_o burden_n and_o the_o sell_a ware_n in_o those_o of_o the_o mean_a sort_n he_o will_v look_v upon_o they_o as_o no_o sin_n or_o as_o very_o small_a infirmity_n if_o man_n fall_v out_o of_o infirmity_n and_o be_v grieve_v for_o these_o thing_n and_o be_v wary_a and_o watchful_a over_o themselves_o how_o they_o fall_v into_o those_o sin_n for_o time_n to_o come_v or_o else_o do_v these_o thing_n at_o the_o command_n of_o their_o governor_n and_o superior_n who_o they_o know_v will_v not_o command_v they_o such_o thing_n if_o they_o do_v not_o know_v that_o they_o be_v such_o work_n of_o necessity_n as_o may_v be_v do_v on_o any_o sabbath-day_n or_o such_o work_n of_o necessity_n as_o must_v be_v do_v on_o that_o sabbath-day_n as_o they_o command_v they_o and_o he_o will_v not_o see_v concern_v some_o that_o be_v person_n of_o quality_n and_o fashion_n minister_n and_o magistrate_n that_o they_o be_v not_o frequent_a in_o performance_n of_o holy_a and_o religious_a exercise_n and_o if_o they_o be_v draw_v in_o to_o feast_n and_o banquet_n on_o the_o lord_n day_n and_o do_v profane_a the_o sabbath_n by_o foolish_a talk_n and_o vain_a jest_n yet_o if_o they_o repent_v of_o their_o fail_n of_o their_o fall_n and_o do_v not_o wilful_o profane_v the_o sabbath_n themselves_o nor_o nourish_v other_o in_o the_o contempt_n of_o holy_a and_o religious_a exercise_n he_o will_v pardon_v and_o forgive_v those_o sin_n for_o he_o consider_v of_o the_o temptation_n that_o some_o have_v to_o sin_n of_o the_o pull-back_n and_o hindrance_n that_o they_o have_v to_o piety_n and_o again_o he_o be_v very_o strict_a and_o precise_a a_o severe_a judge_n and_o will_v see_v in_o some_o of_o the_o mean_a sort_n such_o thing_n as_o seem_v to_o the_o world_n eye_n to_o be_v very_o small_a infirmity_n the_o gather_n of_o stick_n and_o play_v in_o the_o street_n and_o note_v they_o as_o heinous_a sin_n yea_o he_o will_v not_o see_v that_o those_o that_o do_v those_o thing_n keep_v the_o church_n due_o and_o be_v frequent_a in_o religious_a exercise_n if_o they_o do_v these_o thing_n out_o of_o hypocrisy_n to_o bear_v themselves_o out_o in_o their_o presumptuous_a wickedness_n and_o he_o will_v note_v some_o that_o be_v person_n of_o quality_n and_o fashion_n how_o they_o profane_v the_o sabbath_n by_o idle_a discourse_n and_o vain_a talk_n and_o will_v not_o observe_v it_o in_o they_o that_o they_o be_v frequent_a and_o often_o in_o the_o performance_n of_o religious_a exercise_n if_o they_o make_v religion_n a_o cloak_n for_o their_o malice_n and_o will_v not_o repent_v of_o this_o sin_n but_o be_v obstinate_a to_o have_v all_o man_n as_o frequent_v and_o often_o in_o performance_n of_o holy_a and_o religious_a exercise_n as_o themselves_o for_o he_o consider_v of_o the_o opportunity_n that_o some_o have_v to_o do_v good_a of_o the_o help_n and_o encouragement_n that_o they_o have_v to_o piety_n yea_o the_o merciful_a god_n have_v a_o care_n of_o the_o dumb_a beast_n and_o one_o of_o the_o reason_n why_o he_o have_v ordain_v a_o sabbath_n be_v that_o they_o shall_v rest_v every_o seven_o day_n and_o not_o be_v over-harrowed_n with_o work_v and_o much_o more_o have_v he_o a_o care_n of_o reasonable_a creature_n he_o have_v ordain_v a_o sabbath_n of_o rest_n not_o mere_o out_o of_o respect_n to_o himself_o that_o he_o shall_v be_v serve_v and_o his_o sabbath_n sanctify_v by_o perform_v in_o they_o holy_a and_o religious_a exercise_n but_o he_o have_v a_o respect_n to_o servant_n and_o day_n labourer_n and_o have_v ordain_v a_o seven_o day_n of_o rest_n that_o servant_n and_o day-labourer_n may_v have_v some_o time_n to_o rest_n from_o labour_n as_o well_o as_o their_o master_n so_o it_o be_v set_v forth_o in_o the_o 5_o of_o deut._n 14_o ver_fw-la the_o latter_a part_n
