those_o which_o they_o call_v the_o precept_n or_o commandment_n of_o the_o church_n which_o indeed_o be_v not_o other_o commandment_n but_o deduction_n and_o conclusion_n draw_v from_o the_o ten_o commandment_n and_o these_o every_o one_o be_v bind_v to_o keep_v q._n which_o be_v the_o precept_n of_o the_o church_n a._n 1._o to_o keep_v the_o holiday_n appoint_v by_o the_o church_n with_o leave_v the_o ordinary_a work_n of_o our_o call_v and_o attend_v divine_a service_n 2._o to_o keep_v fast_n and_o abstinence_n on_o certain_a day_n appoint_v 3._o to_o pay_v tithe_n to_o the_o pastor_n of_o the_o church_n 4._o to_o make_v special_a confession_n of_o sin_n to_o the_o priest_n when_o a_o man_n feel_v his_o conscience_n trouble_v with_o any_o weighty_a matter_n 5._o to_o receive_v the_o holy_a eucharist_n thrice_o every_o year_n at_o easter_n once_o especial_o and_o at_o other_o time_n as_o conveniency_n and_o opportunity_n best_o serve_v q._n but_o be_v not_o this_o to_o teach_v for_o doctrine_n the_o commandment_n of_o man_n a._n no._n these_o be_v not_o mere_o man_n commandment_n but_o god_n and_o such_o as_o be_v teach_v in_o their_o respective_a general_n head_n in_o the_o ten_o commandment_n q._n can_v you_o make_v this_o appear_v in_o every_o one_o of_o these_o several_a precept_n a._n yes_o and_o first_o for_o the_o two_o first_o precept_n if_o god_n ought_v to_o be_v worship_v in_o ordinary_a course_n or_o to_o be_v thank_v or_o seek_v to_o by_o prayer_n and_o fast_v upon_o extraordinary_a occasion_n of_o his_o mercy_n or_o his_o judgement_n which_o be_v clear_a in_o the_o first_o table_n then_o certain_a day_n upon_o the_o occasion_n both_o for_o thanksgiving_n as_o feast-day_n and_o for_o humiliation_n as_o fasting-day_n must_v be_v set_v apart_o by_o the_o church_n and_o these_o of_o necessity_n must_v be_v observe_v by_o all_o the_o member_n of_o the_o same_o then_o again_o for_o the_o three_o precept_n if_o the_o aforesaid_a duty_n of_o common_a service_n thanksgiving_n and_o humiliation_n must_v be_v do_v then_o it_o be_v necessary_a that_o some_o person_n as_o the_o priest_n be_v set_v a_o part_n for_o the_o performance_n of_o those_o duty_n a._n and_o then_o it_o be_v urge_v out_o of_o the_o first_o commandment_n that_o these_o person_n who_o be_v set_v apart_o for_o the_o public_a ministry_n of_o the_o church_n have_v their_o honour_n of_o maintenance_n now_o for_o this_o maintenance_n the_o priest_n under_o moses_n law_n be_v to_o have_v the_o tithe_n or_o ten_o and_o the_o apostle_n say_v the_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v worthy_a to_o have_v more_o 1_o cor._n 9.12_o and_o avouch_v that_o by_o the_o appointment_n and_o ordinance_n of_o god_n who_o be_v lord_n of_o heaven_n and_o her_o minister_n shall_v be_v no_o less_o than_o the_o tithe_n of_o what_o he_o possess_v then_o for_o the_o four_o it_o be_v clear_a that_o we_o ought_v to_o confess_v our_o sin_n one_o to_o another_o it_o a_o part_n of_o god_n service_n require_v in_o the_o first_o and_o four_o commandment_n thus_o to_o give_v honour_n to_o god_n and_o there_o be_v good_a reason_n for_o it_o in_o respect_n of_o ourselves_o because_o there_o be_v need_n of_o help_n and_o comfort_n in_o distress_n of_o conscience_n and_o if_o to_o any_o one_o then_o especial_o to_o the_o priest_n who_o have_v power_n of_o absolution_n last_o it_o be_v a_o principal_a part_n of_o god_n service_n to_o receive_v the_o bless_a sacrament_n of_o the_o eucharist_n in_o remembrance_n of_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n and_o therefore_o the_o church_n command_v that_o to_o be_v do_v now_o because_o the_o fit_a time_n for_o that_o action_n be_v about_o the_o time_n of_o christ_n passion_n which_o be_v especial_o therein_o remember_v therefore_o it_o be_v enjoin_v every_o one_o beside_o other_o time_n especial_o at_o easter_n q._n well_o
