of_o cordial_n to_o keep_v the_o soul_n from_o faint_v 2._o what_o ever_o befall_v remember_v it_o proceed_v from_o god_n love_n 3._o all_o that_o god_n aim_v at_o be_v to_o do_v thou_o good_a 4._o be_v the_o affection_n never_o so_o great_a it_o be_v as_o necessary_a as_o prosperity_n as_o health_n this_o thy_o physic_n be_v as_o necessary_a as_o thy_o food_n 5._o the_o issue_n of_o all_o a_o crown_n of_o glory_n these_o light_a affliction_n which_o be_v but_o for_o a_o moment_n work_v out_o for_o we_o a_o far_o more_o excellent_a and_o eternal_a weight_n of_o glory_n and_o therefore_o if_o so_o be_v there_o be_v such_o principle_n from_o which_o affliction_n flow_v and_o such_o end_n to_o which_o they_o be_v manage_v it_o be_v no_o wonder_n christ_n will_v not_o pray_v that_o we_o may_v be_v take_v out_o of_o the_o world_n from_o affliction_n but_o keep_v in_o this_o world_n from_o the_o evil_n so_o we_o fall_v on_o the_o nine_o sermon_n joh._n 17.15_o i_o pray_v not_o that_o thou_o shall_v take_v they_o out_o of_o the_o world_n but_o that_o thou_o shall_v keep_v they_o from_o the_o evil_n god_n have_v speak_v once_o yea_o twice_o have_v i_o hear_v this_o that_o power_n world_n for_o guide_v and_o light_n by_o their_o doctrine_n and_o conversation_n they_o instruct_v the_o godly_a and_o convince_v the_o wicked_a god_n will_v have_v his_o people_n stay_v in_o the_o world_n that_o his_o power_n providence_n mercy_n and_o goodness_n in_o their_o preservation_n may_v more_o clear_o be_v discover_v that_o their_o affliction_n here_o may_v work_v out_o for_o they_o a_o eternal_a weight_n of_o glory_n these_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o god_n will_v have_v they_o stay_v in_o the_o world_n etc._n etc._n then_o 1._o saint_n carry_v yourselves_o as_o become_v such_o in_o midst_n of_o such_o a_o world_n with_o that_o wisdom_n faithfulness_n carefulness_n humility_n that_o may_v bring_v honour_n both_o to_o yourselves_o and_o to_o your_o profession_n walk_v as_o light_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o a_o crooked_a and_o perverse_a generation_n walk_v close_o wary_o innocent_o patient_o submissive_o etc._n etc._n all_o these_o be_v necessary_a while_o you_o be_v to_o than_o exemption_n from_o suffering_n which_o 1._o inform_v we_o of_o a_o truth_n that_o carnal_a man_n will_v never_o believe_v till_o they_o come_v to_o hell_n that_o that_o be_v the_o height_n of_o folly_n which_o the_o man_n of_o the_o world_n count_v to_o be_v the_o top_n of_o wisdom_n they_o think_v it_o wisdom_n to_o choose_v sin_n rather_o than_o suffer_v 2_o this_o will_v evidence_n that_o the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v not_o such_o fool_n as_o the_o man_n of_o the_o world_n think_v they_o be_v but_o the_o wise_a that_o will_v choose_v the_o great_a suffer_v rather_o than_o the_o so_o many_o thousand_o of_o godly_a minister_n which_o by_o their_o doctrine_n and_o life_n have_v be_v as_o light_n in_o the_o world_n shall_v be_v extinguish_v and_o silence_v believe_v it_o sir_n and_o ungodly_a man_n be_v never_o the_o near_a their_o salvation_n because_o their_o faithful_a minister_n be_v not_o suffer_v to_o preach_v to_o they_o of_o the_o evil_a and_o danger_n of_o their_o sin_n which_o be_v the_o hinderer_n of_o it_o i_o shall_v commend_v to_o your_o consideration_n that_o one_o scripture_n which_o i_o will_v have_v you_o be_v often_o read_v and_o think_v on_o as_o
