how_o merciful_a will_v it_o make_v you_o to_o be_v to_o other_o therefore_o when_o man_n be_v hard-hearted_a cruel_a and_o harsh_a and_o their_o spirit_n not_o incline_v to_o mercy_n they_o have_v be_v very_o little_a with_o god_n to_o what_o they_o ought_v to_o be_v again_o why_o be_v this_o call_v the_o fast_a which_o god_n have_v choose_v i_o answer_v brief_o reas_n 1._o because_o that_o &_o therefore_o it_o be_v refer_v to_o its_o first_o pattern_n and_o exemplar_n unto_o the_o will_n and_o choice_n of_o god_n reas_n 2._o it_o be_v a_o fast_a that_o god_n have_v choose_v because_o god_n prefer_v this_o above_o any_o other_o kind_n of_o fast_a there_o be_v fast_n many_o but_o this_o god_n prefer_v above_o all_o there_o be_v fast_n which_o obtain_v some_o answer_n from_o god_n yet_o be_v not_o like_o these_o you_o know_v what_o ahab_n obtain_v from_o god_n by_o fast_v 1_o king_n 21_o 27_o 28_o 29._o god_n have_v respect_n to_o his_o fast_n and_o humble_v himself_o and_o ahab_n obtain_v a_o reprieve_n thereby_o so_o that_o the_o judgement_n threaten_v be_v not_o execute_v in_o his_o day_n but_o yet_o ahab_n do_v not_o fast_o with_o such_o a_o fast_a as_o god_n have_v choose_v and_o delight_n in_o and_z accepts_z of_o reas_n 3._o because_o god_n take_v pleasure_n and_o have_v a_o gracious_a respect_n to_o his_o people_n in_o it_o and_o after_o it_o the_o service_n be_v acceptable_a to_o he_o when_o it_o be_v a_o day_n he_o have_v choose_v and_o it_o ascend_v as_o the_o offering_n of_o a_o sweet_a smell_a sacrifice_n this_o be_v note_v in_o that_o the_o other_o be_v not_o a_o accept_a day_n to_o the_o lord_n but_o this_o be_v a_o day_n wherein_o god_n take_v pleasure_n in_o heaven_n if_o there_o be_v joy_n in_o heaven_n when_o one_o sinner_n be_v convert_v
