author_n of_o a_o needless_a schism_n and_o separation_n and_o of_o inevitable_a feud_n rancour_n and_o mutual_a reproach_n and_o condemnation_n the_o observer_n of_o the_o lord_n day_n will_v decry_v and_o exclaim_v against_o the_o other_o as_o jew_n and_o proud_a schismatic_n and_o the_o keeper_n of_o the_o seven_o day_n will_v censure_v and_o condemn_v the_o other_o as_o wilful_a breaker_n of_o god_n express_a command_n and_o profane_a complier_n with_o the_o will_n and_o tradition_n of_o men._n and_o he_o that_o have_v not_o the_o gift_n of_o prophecy_n may_v easy_o foretell_v what_o any_o need_n or_o use_v of_o a_o jesus_n or_o a_o christ_n nor_o be_v there_o so_o much_o as_o the_o least_o hint_n of_o he_o give_v by_o either_o prophecy_n or_o promise_n much_o less_o be_v he_o himself_o in_o be_v and_o consequent_o none_o of_o these_o thing_n can_v conduce_v to_o his_o glory_n for_o there_o can_v nothing_o appertain_v to_o that_o which_o be_v not_o and_o thus_o these_o suppose_a unmoveable_a foundation_n of_o this_o tenent_n be_v find_v not_o to_o be_v so_o much_o as_o sandy_n for_o they_o be_v find_v to_o be_v nothing_o at_o all_o as_o he_o will_v have_v they_o the_o temple_n etc._n etc._n as_o all_o that_o know_v the_o style_n of_o the_o prophet_n can_v but_o be_v acquaint_v with_o because_o these_o be_v then_o the_o service_n which_o that_o people_n perform_v and_o they_o know_v no_o other_o and_o probable_o will_v not_o have_v endure_v the_o mention_v of_o any_o other_o so_o here_o our_o saviour_n speak_v indeed_o literal_o of_o the_o seventh-day-sabbath_n because_o the_o jew_n and_o his_o disciple_n who_o be_v jew_n know_v yet_o of_o no_o other_o neither_o be_v prepare_v to_o hear_v of_o the_o future_a substitute_v of_o another_o day_n in_o its_o place_n yet_o this_o do_v no_o more_o confirm_v the_o seven_o day_n to_o be_v the_o future_a sabbath_n than_o those_o other_o scriptural_a say_n do_v the_o ceremonial_a rite_n to_o be_v the_o evangelical_n worship_n or_o the_o external_a modes_n of_o serve_v god_n in_o the_o time_n of_o reformation_n and_o when_o the_o body_n and_o substance_n of_o these_o sign_n and_o figure_n of_o the_o day_n and_o there_o be_v nothing_o more_o common_a than_o this_o way_n of_o speak_v according_a to_o man_n apprehension_n of_o thing_n without_o any_o the_o least_o approbation_n of_o that_o apprehension_n so_o we_o find_v our_o saviour_n speak_v in_o his_o discourse_n of_o the_o jew_n circumcision_n very_o commendable_o and_o honourable_o yet_o i_o hope_v this_o do_v not_o confirm_v it_o for_o the_o future_a but_o here_o it_o may_v be_v object_v but_o he_o do_v not_o prophesy_v of_o its_o future_a observance_n or_o require_v any_o thing_n of_o they_o upon_o a_o supposition_n of_o its_o continuance_n afterward_o and_o therefore_o this_o be_v nothing_o to_o the_o purpose_n but_o we_o know_v he_o can_v not_o but_o foresee_v that_o they_o will_v observe_v it_o and_o keep_v it_o up_o in_o the_o church_n after_o his_o departure_n from_o they_o and_o its_o abrogation_n and_o so_o these_o speech_n of_o his_o will_v then_o be_v upon_o record_n and_o probable_o make_v a_o plea_n for_o its_o use_n especial_o see_v he_o never_o do_v as_o i_o remember_v speak_v any_o thing_n against_o it_o or_o express_o of_o its_o future_a extrusion_n out_o of_o the_o church_n which_o speech_n of_o he_o can_v authorize_v their_o future_a practice_n neither_o can_v our_o saviour_n foresight_n of_o their_o superstition_n and_o mistake_a observance_n of_o the_o seven_o day_n administration_n that_o it_o be_v and_o aught_o to_o be_v exclude_v with_o they_o and_o give_v place_n to_o a_o more_o glorious_a day_n in_o commemoration_n of_o a_o more_o glorious_a work_n and_o god_n rest_v from_o it_o even_o the_o first_o day_n our_o lord_n glorious_a triumph_a day_n the_o other_o two_o reason_n of_o this_o four_o command_n follow_v which_o be_v god_n bless_v the_o sabbath_n day_n and_o hallow_v it_o where_o it_o be_v worthy_a our_o observance_n though_o this_o author_n deem_v it_o a_o triffe_n that_o it_o be_v the_o sabbath_n day_n not_o the_o seven_o day_n
