consequent_o to_o make_v a_o bloody_a desolation_n throughout_o all_o his_o dominion_n to_o pretend_v that_o the_o say_a law_n take_v hold_v only_o of_o christian_a magistrate_n and_o bind_v they_o to_o the_o execution_n mention_v not_o on_o magistrate_n whilst_o they_o be_v yet_o heathen_a be_v a_o ridiculous_a pretence_n for_o what_o duty_n soever_o belong_v unto_o a_o magistrate_n as_o such_o belong_v to_o every_o magistrate_n of_o what_o capacity_n or_o condition_n soever_o he_o be_v otherwise_o or_o if_o the_o pretence_n be_v admit_v as_o legitimate_a yet_o will_v not_o the_o absurdity_n be_v at_o all_o heal_v by_o it_o but_o rather_o heighten_v because_o even_o than_o it_o will_v follow_v that_o in_o case_n the_o supreme_a magistrate_n in_o a_o idolatrous_a state_n or_o kingdom_n be_v first_o convert_v to_o the_o christian_a say_v he_o be_v bind_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o his_o conversion_n to_o destroy_v the_o life_n of_o all_o his_o subject_n without_o exception_n who_o the_o present_a case_n be_v suppose_v to_o be_v all_o idolater_n if_o it_o be_v say_v yea_o but_o he_o ought_v first_o to_o instruct_v and_o admonish_v they_o and_o by_o all_o good_a mean_n to_o endeavour_v to_o reclaim_v they_o from_o their_o idolatry_n if_o after_o sufficient_a mean_n use_v in_o this_o kind_n they_o shall_v still_o persist_v in_o their_o idolatry_n than_o he_o be_v to_o put_v the_o say_a law_n in_o execution_n i_o answer_v there_o be_v no_o such_o clause_n of_o mitigation_n or_o respite_n as_o this_o in_o the_o say_a law_n but_o the_o idolater_n and_o the_o blasphemer_n be_v forthwith_o upon_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o fact_n evidence_v by_o witness_n to_o be_v put_v to_o death_n 16._o death_n levit._fw-la 24._o 14._o 16._o therefore_o if_o this_o law_n be_v still_o in_o force_n it_o must_v be_v put_v in_o execution_n without_o any_o such_o explication_n or_o reserve_v the_o addition_n of_o such_o a_o interpretation_n make_v a_o new_a law_n and_o like_a expression_n of_o frequent_a occurrence_n in_o the_o 47._o sect._n 47._o scripture_n viz._n where_o indefinite_a yea_o and_o sometime_o universal_a expression_n be_v use_v to_o signify_v not_o a_o simple_a or_o absolute_a but_o a_o relative_a 48._o sect._n 48._o or_o restrain_a universality_n of_o thing_n i._n e._n either_o a_o universality_n of_o such_o thing_n which_o be_v particular_o treat_v of_o in_o those_o place_n where_o these_o expression_n be_v find_v or_o of_o such_o who_o nature_n or_o condition_n be_v reasonable_o capable_a of_o those_o thing_n which_o either_o be_v attribute_v to_o they_o or_o enjoin_v concern_v they_o in_o such_o expression_n as_o for_o example_n god_n himself_o say_v exod._n 12._o 48._o that_o no_o uncircumcised_a person_n shall_v eat_v of_o the_o passover_n yet_o this_o general_a or_o universal_a expression_n be_v not_o to_o be_v extend_v unto_o woman_n of_o the_o daughter_n of_o abraham_n as_o if_o they_o be_v restrain_v hereby_o from_o eat_v the_o passeover_n because_o they_o be_v person_n uncircumcised_a the_o reason_n be_v because_o the_o note_n or_o universality_n no_o in_o the_o prohibition_n no_o uncircumcised_a person_n
