although_o secret_o in_o the_o hart_n i_o think_v they_o will_v say_v no._n for_o our_o saviour_n christ_n condemn_v a_o evil_a thought_n as_o a_o most_o heinous_a sin_n say_v 5.28_o he_o that_o but_o lu_v after_o a_o woman_n in_o his_o hart_n have_v commit_v adultery_n already_o before_o god_n and_o be_v as_o guilty_a thereof_o in_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n as_o though_o he_o have_v commit_v the_o fact_n where_o you_o see_v he_o make_v a_o evil_a thought_n or_o conceit_n of_o the_o hart_n equivalent_a with_o the_o deed_n before_o god_n again_o our_o saviour_n christ_n reckon_v up_o a_o great_a catalogue_n of_o sin_n which_o defile_v a_o man_n among_o the_o rest_n bring_v in_o evil_a thought_n 19.20_o not_o only_o for_o one_o but_o as_o chief_a and_o principal_a so_o that_o i_o conclude_v that_o every_o evil_a thought_n secret_a motion_n private_a affection_n or_o conceit_n of_o the_o heart_n whatsoever_o be_v not_o free_a as_o some_o libertine_n will_v have_v it_o but_o free_a and_o without_o sin_n before_o god_n be_v not_o he_o the_o searcher_n of_o the_o heart_n and_o reins_n &_o know_v not_o he_o our_o thought_n long_o before_o they_o be_v conceive_v in_o our_o mind_n respect_v not_o he_o the_o heart_n alone_o and_o shall_v we_o say_v that_o a_o evil_a thought_n be_v free_a god_n forbid_v in_o deed_n every_o good_a thought_n be_v free_a and_o proceed_v from_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n suggest_v the_o same_o unto_o we_o but_o every_o evil_a thought_n be_v damnable_a and_o proceed_v from_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o the_o stink_a pump_n constraint_n but_o how_o ever_o it_o be_v it_o be_v yet_o far_o better_a than_o the_o fear_n and_o obedience_n of_o some_o miscreant_n towards_o god_n who_o will_v never_o be_v draw_v neither_o by_o love_n fear_v nor_o scarce_a constraint_n if_o they_o can_v otherwise_o choose_v to_o the_o obedience_n of_o god_n and_o execute_n of_o his_o will_n nay_o there_o be_v some_o so_o indurate_a and_o so_o freeze_v in_o the_o dregs_n of_o their_o sin_n that_o neither_o fear_n of_o hell_n nor_o love_n of_o heaven_n can_v once_o move_v they_o to_o leave_v their_o sin_n be_v of_o this_o resolution_n in_o deed_n that_o there_o be_v neither_o god_n nor_o devil_n heaven_n nor_o hell_n no_o immortality_n of_o the_o soul_n nor_o any_o life_n after_o this_o if_o these_o be_v not_o their_o persuasion_n they_o will_v never_o live_v as_o they_o do_v worse_a than_o the_o devil_n themselves_o who_o fear_n &_o tremble_v at_o the_o majesty_n of_o god_n but_o they_o be_v so_o far_o off_o from_o tremble_v
