reprove_v and_o rebuke_v he_o rather_o if_o need_n be_v which_o sort_n of_o friendly_a smite_v of_o he_o he_o promise_v shall_v be_v most_o acceptable_a to_o he_o and_o for_o this_o he_o give_v four_o reason_n the_o first_o whereof_o be_v because_o he_o have_v so_o much_o love_n to_o his_o enemy_n as_o to_o pity_v they_o in_o their_o calamity_n and_o to_o pray_v for_o they_o whence_o learn_v 1._o as_o flatterer_n be_v a_o plague_n to_o prince_n especial_o when_o they_o be_v upon_o unjust_a course_n so_o righteous_a and_o faithful_a admonisher_n of_o we_o in_o whatsoever_o place_n we_o be_v in_o be_v a_o notable_a blessing_n and_o worthy_a to_o be_v pray_v for_o let_v the_o righteous_a smite_v i_o 2._o according_a as_o a_o man_n do_v hate_v sin_n and_o love_v righteousness_n so_o he_o hate_v flattery_n and_o love_v to_o be_v free_o deal_v with_o and_o reprove_v or_o admonish_v for_o it_o be_v the_o love_n of_o righteousness_n and_o hatred_n of_o sin_n which_o make_v david_n say_v deal_n and_o plain_a reproof_n be_v a_o fruit_n of_o love_n unfeigned_a let_v the_o righteous_a smite_v i_o it_o shall_v be_v a_o kindness_n 5._o as_o most_o precious_a oil_n be_v to_o the_o body_n so_o be_v the_o counsel_n admonition_n and_o reproof_n of_o the_o righteous_a to_o the_o soul_n for_o the_o fruit_n of_o both_o be_v health_n and_o gladness_n let_v he_o reprove_v i_o it_o shall_v be_v a_o excellent_a oil_n which_o shall_v not_o break_v my_o head_n 6._o the_o godly_a when_o they_o be_v persecute_v need_v not_o to_o seek_v private_a revenge_n for_o calamity_n do_v abide_v their_o persecutor_n which_o they_o by_o faith_n in_o god_n word_n may_v clear_o foresee_v as_o david_n here_o do_v presuppose_v unquestionable_o that_o their_o calamity_n be_v come_v my_o prayer_n shall_v be_v in_o their_o calamity_n 7._o the_o lord_n child_n shall_v be_v so_o far_o from_o private_a revenge_n and_o so_o ready_a to_o come_v off_o that_o course_n if_o they_o be_v tempt_v to_o it_o that_o they_o shall_v keep_v so_o much_o love_n to_o their_o adversary_n as_o may_v make_v they_o discharge_v all_o command_v duty_n towards_o they_o as_o david_n here_o be_v dispose_v who_o word_n import_v thus_o much_o if_o i_o be_v set_v upon_o private_a revenge_n lord_n let_v i_o find_v a_o friend_n to_o hinder_v i_o because_o i_o resolve_v to_o follow_v the_o duty_n of_o command_v love_n towards_o my_o adversary_n for_o yet_o my_o prayer_n also_o shall_v be_v in_o their_o calamity_n and_o this_o be_v the_o first_o reason_n of_o the_o four_o petition_n vers._n 6._o when_o their_o judge_n be_v overthrow_v in_o stony_a place_n they_o shall_v hear_v my_o word_n for_o they_o be_v sweet_a the_o second_o reason_n be_v from_o his_o purpose_n to_o deal_v with_o the_o simple_a people_n who_o now_o do_v persecute_v he_o by_o the_o mislead_v of_o their_o corrupt_a ruler_n as_o with_o his_o kindly_a subject_n disciple_n or_o child_n and_o do_v hope_n to_o find_v they_o tractable_a whence_o learn_v 1._o difference_n must_v be_v put_v between_o ring_n leader_n in_o a_o evil_a course_n and_o those_o that_o follow_v it_o in_o simplicity_n for_o so_o do_v the_o prophet_n here_o put_v difference_n betwixt_o the_o people_n and_o their_o corrupt_a and_o wicked_a judge_n 2._o wicked_a ruler_n and_o mis-leader_n of_o people_n shall_v be_v fearful_o punish_v as_o they_o who_o be_v cast_v down_o from_o a_o steep_a place_n and_o fall_v among_o stone_n their_o judge_n shall_v be_v overthrow_v in_o stony_a place_n 3._o misled_n people_n shall_v be_v kind_o entertain_v and_o instruct_v in_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n word_n as_o disciple_n and_o child_n so_o soon_o as_o the_o lord_n do_v offer_v opportunity_n when_o their_o judge_n shall_v be_v overthrow_v in_o stony_a place_n they_o shall_v hear_v my_o word_n 4._o as_o the_o doctrine_n of_o grace_n and_o godliness_n be_v sweet_a and_o pleasant_a in_o itself_o so_o shall_v it_o be_v esteem_v of_o by_o the_o preacher_n and_o so_o recommend_v to_o the_o people_n and_o so_o handle_v in_o the_o way_n of_o preach_v of_o it_o as_o it_o may_v be_v acknowledge_v by_o the_o people_n to_o be_v such_o and_o this_o shall_v be_v if_o with_o the_o decipher_n of_o sin_n and_o the_o curse_n the_o remedy_n constant_o be_v hold_v forth_o in_o christ_n if_o with_o the_o doctrine_n of_o all_o moral_a duty_n people_n be_v direct_v to_o draw_v strength_n to_o obey_v they_o from_o christ_n and_o to_o seek_v to_o have_v their_o service_n acceptable_a through_o christ_n for_o thus_o shall_v the_o word_n of_o the_o do_v import_v 3._o god_n esteem_v of_o no_o man_n for_o his_o riches_n honour_n command_v of_o horse_n and_o foot_n nor_o for_o his_o bodily_a strength_n he_o delight_v not_o in_o the_o strength_n of_o the_o horse_n he_o take_v not_o pleasure_n in_o the_o leg_n of_o a_o man_n 4._o the_o only_a right_a object_n of_o our_o joy_n pleasure_n and_o confidence_n be_v god_n himself_o as_o the_o
