worthy_a concernment_n especial_o see_v she_o be_v now_o converse_v with_o one_o who_o have_v both_o these_o in_o his_o power_n to_o confer_v and_o this_o be_v usual_a with_o christ_n to_o take_v occasion_n from_o man_n discourse_v of_o outward_a and_o corporal_a thing_n to_o lead_v they_o on_o to_o spiritual_a thing_n and_o from_o temporal_a to_o eternal_a as_o may_v be_v see_v johnn_n 4.13_o etc._n etc._n joh._n 6.26_o 27._o and_o this_o arise_v from_o that_o special_a respect_n which_o christ_n bear_v unto_o the_o soul_n of_o his_o elect_a whence_o it_o be_v that_o he_o make_v it_o his_o first_o care_n use_v more_o word_n and_o take_v more_o pain_n to_o raise_v up_o martha_n dead_a faith_n then_o to_o raise_v up_o her_o brother_n dead_a body_n and_o therefore_o he_o seem_v to_o turn_v she_o off_o from_o the_o discourse_n of_o raise_v of_o her_o brother_n upon_o which_o she_o be_v so_o passionate_o set_v and_o lead_v she_o into_o a_o discourse_n of_o spiritual_a life_n although_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v doubt_v but_o that_o he_o comprehend_v under_o these_o expression_n a_o double_a dispensation_n of_o grace_n viz._n that_o he_o will_v raise_v the_o soul_n from_o a_o spiritual_a death_n to_o a_o spiritual_a life_n and_o the_o body_n from_o death_n temporal_a to_o life_n eternal_a a_o taste_n whereof_o he_o be_v now_o about_o to_o give_v in_o raise_v lazarus_n from_o the_o dead_a i_o shall_v give_v you_o the_o sum_n of_o all_o that_o have_v be_v say_v by_o way_n of_o explication_n in_o this_o short_a paraphrase_n and_o it_o be_v as_o â—f_n christ_n shall_v have_v say_v martha_n thou_o imply_a by_o thy_o discourse_n that_o thou_o have_v but_o low_a thought_n of_o i_o and_o my_o power_n and_o that_o thou_o imagine_v i_o to_o be_v only_o the_o minister_n or_o dispenser_n of_o the_o resurrection_n that_o be_v such_o a_o one_o as_o only_o by_o prayer_n can_v obtain_v from_o another_o the_o power_n of_o raise_v the_o dead_a thou_o look_v upon_o i_o only_o as_o a_o man_n that_o be_v a_o prophet_n and_o that_o by_o some_o more_o than_o ordinary_a grace_n and_o favour_n can_v prevail_v with_o god_n but_o thou_o must_v know_v and_o it_o be_v thy_o resurrection_n and_o the_o life_n we_o may_v observe_v obser_n 1_o that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v the_o author_n of_o the_o resurrection_n and_o the_o life_n or_o that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v the_o author_n and_o efficient_a cause_n both_o of_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o body_n and_o of_o the_o life_n both_o spiritual_a and_o eternal_a 2_o from_o the_o subject_n of_o the_o resurrection_n and_o the_o life_n together_o with_o the_o qualification_n or_o limitation_n thereof_o or_o the_o person_n to_o who_o only_a jesus_n christ_n be_v the_o resurrection_n and_o the_o life_n hold_v forth_o in_o the_o second_o proposition_n in_o these_o word_n he_o that_o believe_v in_o he_o obser_n 2_o we_o may_v observe_v that_o such_o as_o do_v sincere_o believe_v in_o christ_n be_v the_o only_a proper_a and_o adequare_fw-la subject_n of_o the_o resurrection_n and_o the_o life_n or_o such_o as_o sincere_o believe_v in_o christ_n be_v they_o and_o they_o only_a who_o by_o the_o power_n of_o christ_n be_v or_o shall_v be_v raise_v from_o death_n to_o life_n spiritual_a and_o eternal_a 3_o from_o the_o amplification_n of_o christ_n power_n from_o the_o extent_n of_o it_o he_o can_v and_o will_v raise_v they_o be_v their_o condition_n never_o so_o desperate_a though_o he_o be_v dead_a yet_o shall_v he_o live_v obser_n 3_o the_o power_n of_o raise_v of_o believer_n unto_o life_n spiritual_a and_o eternal_a in_o respect_n of_o all_o the_o degree_n of_o it_o be_v so_o full_o and_o absolute_o in_o the_o hand_n of_o christ_n that_o nothing_o can_v hinder_v he_o from_o raise_v of_o they_o when_o he_o will_n second_o from_o the_o word_n relative_o consider_v 1._o as_o they_o contain_v a_o doctrine_n deliver_v and_o assert_v by_o jesus_n christ_n for_o the_o correct_v and_o cure_v of_o martha_n ignorance_n and_o error_n concern_v his_o almighty_a power_n and_o godhead_n obser_n 4_o to_o be_v right_o inform_v in_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o power_n and_o interest_n which_o jesus_n christ_n have_v in_o the_o resurrection_n and_o the_o life_n be_v a_o especial_a mean_n to_o cure_v the_o ignorance_n and_o to_o prevent_v the_o error_n we_o be_v apt_a to_o be_v corrupt_v withal_o concern_v the_o power_n and_o godhead_n of_o christ_n 2_o whereas_o jesus_n christ_n for_o the_o moderate_n quiet_v &_o comfort_v of_o martha_n spirit_n now_o apt_a to_o exceed_v
