be_v sincere_a i_o hold_v to_o be_v imperfect_a because_o the_o conformity_n to_o the_o rule_n be_v imperfect_a iii_o sincerity_n say_v master_n blake_n be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o new_a rule_n or_o the_o rule_n of_o the_o new_a covenant_n but_o this_o be_v no_o rule_n but_o our_o duty_n take_v the_o abstract_n for_o the_o concrete_a sincerity_n for_o sincere_a walk_n and_o this_o according_a to_o the_o rule_n of_o the_o law_n not_o to_o reach_v it_o but_o in_o all_o part_n to_o aim_v at_o it_o and_o have_v respect_n unto_o it_o then_o shall_v i_o not_o be_v ashamed_a when_o i_o have_v respect_n to_o all_o thy_o commandment_n psal_n 119._o 6._o and_o this_o be_v our_o inherent_a righteousness_n which_o in_o reference_n to_o its_o rule_n n._n b._n labour_v under_o many_o word_n import_v a_o increase_n of_o righteousness_n and_o yet_o the_o other_o no_o increase_n of_o holiness_n whereas_o you_o speak_v of_o vary_v the_o sense_n according_a to_o the_o variety_n of_o subject_n you_o take_v it_o for_o grant_v that_o here_o the_o subject_n be_v various_a whereas_o both_o by_o this_o and_o divers_a other_o place_n before_o cite_v it_o seem_v clear_a to_o i_o that_o the_o subject_n viz._n righteousness_n and_o holiness_n be_v real_o the_o same_o one_o with_o the_o other_o for_o the_o formale_a of_o righteousness_n what_o be_v it_o but_o conformity_n to_o the_o law_n the_o only_a rule_n of_o righteousness_n and_o why_o such_o conformity_n may_v not_o be_v more_o or_o less_o i_o be_o yet_o to_o learn_v that_o place_n indeed_o as_o many_o other_o speak_v of_o a_o true_a personal_a righteousness_n in_o the_o saint_n but_o yet_o not_o of_o a_o perfect_a righteousness_n in_o they_o and_o consequent_o not_o of_o such_o a_o righteousness_n as_o whereby_o they_o be_v justify_v except_o it_o be_v only_o in_o some_o sort_n and_o in_o some_o measure_n which_o be_v not_o the_o justification_n about_o which_o we_o contend_v this_o imperfect_a righteousness_n be_v measure_v by_o the_o law_n of_o work_n as_o a_o rule_n though_o it_o be_v accept_v only_o by_o the_o gracious_a condescension_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o ephes_n 4._o 24._o you_o give_v many_o answer_n but_o they_o seem_v but_o so_o many_o evasion_n 39_o 1._o i_o think_v there_o be_v no_o question_n but_o the_o apostle_n speak_v by_o way_n of_o precept_n and_o exhortation_n q._n d._n if_o you_o to_o mere_a professor_n yet_o to_o true_a believer_n much_o rather_o 3._o if_o the_o new_a man_n which_o be_v create_v in_o righteousness_n and_o holiness_n may_v increase_v as_o you_o grant_v then_o sure_o righteousness_n and_o holiness_n in_o which_o the_o new_a man_n be_v create_v and_o without_o which_o the_o new_a man_n be_v nothing_o must_v increase_v also_o to_o say_v that_o the_o new_a man_n may_v increase_v in_o holiness_n but_o not_o in_o
