whatsoever_o we_o be_v teach_v though_o this_o be_v indeed_o a_o fault_n in_o we_o for_o the_o matter_n itself_o ought_v to_o move_v we_o but_o as_o if_o the_o sick_a person_n know_v the_o physician_n to_o be_v one_o that_o beside_o his_o skill_n bear_v he_o good_a will_n it_o will_v make_v he_o willing_a to_o take_v physic_n of_o he_o whereas_o if_o he_o think_v he_o bear_v he_o no_o good_a will_n he_o can_v be_v bring_v to_o meddle_v with_o he_o or_o take_v any_o thing_n of_o he_o so_o it_o be_v with_o they_o that_o be_v well_o or_o ill_o persuade_v of_o their_o pastor_n love_n towards_o they_o therefore_o the_o minister_n ought_v to_o provide_v for_o this_o for_o what_o be_v the_o joy_n of_o a_o minister_n but_o to_o see_v the_o fruit_n of_o his_o labour_n and_o that_o he_o do_v good_a and_o gain_n man_n home_n to_o god_n see_v knowledge_n and_o conscience_n wrought_v and_o people_n convert_v oh_o what_o man_n sow_v and_o look_v not_o to_o see_v it_o come_v up_o grow_v and_o have_v a_o crop_n who_o plant_v a_o vineyard_n and_o look_v not_o for_o the_o fruit_n thereof_o and_o shall_v we_o only_o lose_v the_o most_o precious_a labour_n and_o seed_n and_o study_v and_o kindness_n be_v to_o the_o godly_a as_o our_o brethren_n yea_o fellow-member_n yea_o among_o christian_n we_o must_v love_v they_o most_o where_o we_o see_v most_o grace_n and_o be_v most_o familiar_a with_o they_o affect_v they_o most_o and_o most_o regard_n they_o 1._o as_o they_o be_v lead_v by_o a_o ill_a spirit_n 1_o who_o love_v either_o all_o alike_o or_o those_o worst_a which_o show_v most_o token_n of_o towardness_n in_o religion_n make_v as_o much_o or_o more_o account_n of_o a_o civil_a person_n then_o of_o one_o true_o religious_a 2._o so_o let_v people_n strive_v to_o grow_v and_o exceed_v in_o grace_n 2._o that_o they_o may_v get_v the_o high_a and_o large_a room_n in_o their_o minister_n heart_n which_o be_v faithful_a which_o howsoever_o the_o world_n make_v little_a account_n of_o yet_o they_o that_o be_v wise_a know_v that_o their_o sentence_n and_o love_n be_v to_o be_v regard_v as_o the_o testimony_n of_o the_o church_n be_v a_o great_a matter_n either_o for_o a_o man_n or_o against_o a_o man_n so_o of_o a_o faithful_a minister_n and_o if_o such_o a_o one_o give_v a_o full_a and_o large_a testimony_n of_o a_o man_n it_o be_v a_o crown_n to_o his_o head_n above_o all_o his_o wealth_n if_o his_o testimony_n be_v against_o a_o man_n or_o a_o weak_a doubtful_a testimony_n it_o be_v a_o hard_a case_n if_o a_o minister_n have_v joy_n of_o a_o people_n and_o may_v give_v a_o cheerful_a account_n of_o they_o to_o god_n its_o profitable_a for_o the_o people_n 17._o the_o contrary_n be_v grievous_a i_o beseech_v you_o he_o have_v power_n to_o command_v they_o be_v from_o god_n in_o a_o thing_n for_o their_o own_o good_a and_o so_o necessary_a but_o he_o see_v their_o toward_a disposition_n therefore_o choose_v rather_o to_o use_v entreaty_n whence_o one_o for_o another_o company_n not_o a_o few_o leave_v a_o ill_a example_n and_o savour_n behind_o they_o to_o the_o poison_n of_o other_o this_o be_v hard_a in_o christian_n let_v we_o strive_v by_o all_o mean_n that_o this_o may_v be_v amend_v to_o this_o end_n these_o rule_n be_v to_o be_v observe_v by_o christian_n in_o their_o private_a meeting_n 1._o that_o they_o do_v not_o hereby_o neglect_v their_o calling_n to_o the_o hindrance_n of_o their_o family_n except_o it_o be_v a_o extraordinary_a case_n of_o heaviness_n of_o mind_n meeting_n when_o a_o poor_a soul_n for_o a_o while_n will_v borrow_v a_o little_a of_o the_o body_n as_o he_o have_v beguile_v the_o soul_n before_o so_o to_o procure_v comfort_n for_o thus_o shall_v they_o open_v the_o mouth_n of_o bad_a people_n against_o religion_n as_o if_o it_o make_v man_n idle_a 2._o break_v up_o at_o reasonable_a time_n and_o that_o for_o avoid_v of_o offence_n especial_o if_o there_o be_v other_o than_o our_o own_o family_n yet_o as_o often_o we_o sit_v up_o till_o midnight_n at_o card_n etc._n etc._n so_o at_o some_o time_n we_o may_v take_v more_o liberty_n herein_o 3._o keep_v within_o bound_n for_o the_o business_n in_o hand_n they_o must_v not_o meddle_v above_o their_o reach_n as_o some_o in_o expound_v the_o scripture_n plunge_v themselves_o over_o head_n and_o ear_n they_o must_v wade_v as_o the_o lamb_n as_o far_o as_o they_o see_v ground_n to_o presume_v further_o be_v dangerous_a and_o lead_v into_o error_n beside_o the_o abuse_n of_o scripture_n neither_o must_v they_o meddle_v with_o church-government_n and_o matter_n of_o controversy_n it_o be_v the_o devil_n policy_n to_o set_v such_o thing_n abroach_o to_o hinder_v more_o profitable_a matter_n and_o that_o there_o may_v be_v jangle_v no_o godly_a edify_n in_o stead_n of_o these_o they_o must_v confer_v about_o point_n late_o hear_v or_o about_o their_o own_o spiritual_a condition_n doubt_n temptation_n and_o the_o like_a or_o about_o the_o let_v and_o mean_n of_o faith_n etc._n etc._n 4._o though_o there_o shall_v fall_v out_o some_o difference_n yet_o they_o must_v not_o fall_v out_o in_o wrangle_v and_o contention_n but_o though_o they_o be_v in_o the_o right_a break_v off_o for_o the_o time_n to_o avoid_v contention_n neither_o must_v any_o be_v so_o conceit_v as_o to_o stand_v upon_o their_o own_o wit_n and_o skill_n but_o refer_v themselves_o unto_o those_o which_o have_v their_o sense_n exercise_v to_o discern_v between_o truth_n and_o error_n 5._o that_o none_o desire_v to_o have_v all_o the_o speech_n but_o be_v willing_a also_o to_o hear_v other_o for_o some_o that_o be_v not_o so_o forward_o in_o speech_n may_v yet_o put_v in_o his_o part_n to_o as_o good_a purpose_n as_o they_o that_o think_v well_o of_o themselves_o 6._o that_o they_o avoid_v meddle_v with_o other_o folk_n matter_n or_o censure_v other_o this_o be_v a_o ill_a use_n of_o meet_v together_o especial_o their_o minister_n sermon_n wherein_o they_o shall_v take_v every_o thing_n well_o that_o may_v be_v so_o take_v and_o before_o they_o blame_v any_o thing_n they_o must_v be_v sure_o they_o understand_v and_o be_v not_o deceive_v or_o mistake_v yea_o and_o then_o it_o must_v rather_o be_v humility_n to_o inform_v one_o another_o then_o to_o censure_v they_o with_o overmuch_o harshness_n and_o boldness_n and_o to_o blaze_v the_o same_o abroad_o to_o their_o disgrace_n many_o through_o their_o indiscretion_n do_v their_o minister_n much_o hurt_n and_o put_v they_o into_o strange_a course_n of_o invective_n who_o in_o meekness_n they_o may_v easy_o win_v and_o so_o mar_v a_o good_a cause_n with_o ill_a handle_n thus_o of_o their_o fellowship_n fear_v god_n chapter_n this_o be_v the_o fountain_n whence_o as_o well_o the_o forementioned_a duty_n flow_v as_o those_o which_o follow_v and_o all_o other_o must_v be_v perform_v they_o must_v be_v such_o as_o will_v stand_v with_o the_o fear_n service_n and_o duty_n we_o owe_v unto_o god_n but_o god_n be_v perfect_o good_a obj._n and_o we_o be_v to_o fear_v nothing_o but_o that_o which_o be_v evil_a we_o must_v fear_v to_o offend_v god_n r._n and_o stand_v
