which_o i_o present_o show_v be_v employ_v in_o the_o husband_n headship_n which_o be_v some_o shadow_n only_o of_o that_o eminency_n power_n and_o fullness_n of_o grace_n and_o perfection_n which_o be_v in_o our_o head_n christ._n but_o beside_o those_o the_o apostle_n do_v here_o express_v one_o thing_n wherein_o this_o resemblance_n do_v also_o hold_v to_o wit_n that_o christ_n as_o head_n in_o defend_v she_o from_o injury_n 1_o sam._n 30._o 18._o provide_v for_o she_o 1_o tim._n 5._o 8._o direct_v she_o in_o thing_n necessary_a etc._n etc._n 1_o cor._n 14._o 35._o and_o therefore_o the_o wife_n upon_o this_o consideration_n also_o aught_o to_o subject_n herself_o see_v the_o husband_n power_n and_o authority_n over_o she_o be_v give_v for_o her_o good_a beside_o those_o doctrine_n which_o the_o text_n thus_o explain_v do_v express_o hold_v forth_o we_o may_v gather_v these_o consequence_n from_o it_o 1._o it_o be_v not_o sufficient_a that_o wife_n do_v subject_a which_o be_v in_o all_o the_o son_n and_o daughter_n of_o adam_n by_o nature_n it_o be_v a_o work_n of_o no_o small_a difficulty_n to_o get_v wife_n peswade_v to_o give_v that_o hearty_a cheerful_a love_a and_o dutiful_a respect_n and_o obedience_n unto_o their_o husband_n which_o both_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n and_o the_o write_a word_n of_o god_n do_v require_v from_o they_o for_o to_o scripture_n those_o few_o thing_n which_o be_v except_v that_o thereby_o he_o may_v with_o one_o word_n cut_v off_o all_o unscriptural_a exception_n limitation_n and_o restriction_n which_o
