〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d a_o scandal_n fall_v two_o way_n indeed_o a_o single_a suppose_a offence_n oppose_v to_o a_o double_a scandal_n join_v with_o disobedience_n if_o no_o more_o can_v be_v say_v who_o can_v doubt_v on_o which_o side_n rather_o to_o incline_v but_o to_o these_o i_o add_v other_o respect_n that_o aught_o to_o be_v regard_v more_o than_o a_o suppose_a scandal_n the_o question_n be_v not_o as_o many_o will_v seem_v to_o understand_v it_o whether_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n arbitrary_a &_o mere_o leave_v unto_o our_o own_o choice_n either_o to_o use_v these_o ceremony_n or_o to_o forbear_v they_o as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o apostle_n question_v of_o eat_a flesh_n whether_o i_o say_v we_o ought_v to_o abstain_v if_o we_o understand_v that_o a_o brother_n will_v be_v offend_v at_o the_o use_n of_o they_o or_o not_o for_o then_o there_o be_v no_o question_n but_o that_o for_o avoid_v of_o scandal_n we_o ought_v to_o abstain_v but_o these_o thing_n be_v not_o arbitrary_a in_o our_o choice_n but_o impose_v by_o lawful_a authority_n and_o that_o with_o such_o condition_n as_o that_o the_o observation_n of_o these_o thing_n be_v indifferent_a in_o themselves_o become_v respective_o necessary_a first_o in_o respect_n of_o authority_n which_o not_o only_o for_o fear_n but_o also_o for_o conscience_n 5._o sake_n we_o be_v bind_v to_o obey_v in_o all_o lawful_a thing_n necessary_a because_o as_o you_o hear_v the_o general_n be_v false_a notwithstanding_o if_o you_o presuppose_v these_o two_o thing_n first_o that_o all_o lawful_a commandment_n of_o magistrate_n be_v
