to_o break_v it_o as_o it_o be_v in_o a_o family_n if_o the_o master_n take_v no_o care_n to_o provide_v for_o his_o child_n and_o servant_n who_o of_o old_a be_v esteem_v the_o good_n of_o their_o master_n but_o that_o they_o must_v starve_v if_o they_o continue_v with_o he_o or_o if_o what_o he_o provide_v be_v such_o as_o will_v rather_o poison_v than_o nourish_v they_o or_o what_o be_v absolute_o forbid_v as_o swine_n flesh_n under_o the_o law_n in_o such_o a_o case_n they_o may_v shift_v for_o themselves_o and_o refuse_v to_o live_v with_o he_o till_o he_o mend_v their_o necessary_a than_o what_o we_o can_v attain_v to_o in_o a_o lawful_a way_n and_o what_o be_v otherwise_o lawful_a in_o itself_o by_o take_v a_o undue_a course_n for_o it_o be_v make_v unlawful_a as_o hear_v read_v and_o christian_a converse_n be_v very_o fit_a mean_n for_o my_o improvement_n but_o if_o i_o for_o it_o do_v injure_v my_o family_n and_o neglect_v my_o call_v it_o be_v so_o far_o the_o fallacy_n of_o our_o author_n argument_n will_v appear_v for_o suppose_v i_o reason_n thus_o the_o law_n of_o particular_a family_n be_v but_o postive_a and_o therefore_o subordinate_a to_o law_n more_o necessary_a such_o be_v that_o wherein_o we_o be_v command_v to_o take_v care_n of_o our_o soul_n and_o therefore_o if_o i_o neglect_v the_o former_a for_o the_o good_a of_o the_o latter_a i_o see_v no_o crime_n therein_o commit_v will_v not_o this_o appear_v very_o conceit_v and_o imaginary_a and_o if_o it_o be_v false_a here_o it_o be_v so_o in_o the_o case_n that_o he_o offer_v the_o ground_n of_o his_o mistake_n herein_o seem_v to_o be_v 1._o that_o he_o be_v so_o intent_n upon_o the_o positive_a law_n of_o particular_a church_n that_o he_o have_v no_o respect_n to_o church-communion_n in_o itself_o which_o be_v high_o necessary_a by_o which_o mean_n he_o do_v not_o consider_v that_o this_o principle_n of_o shift_a communion_n for_o the_o expectation_n of_o further_a improvement_n be_v what_o tend_v so_o to_o the_o dissolution_n of_o a_o church_n that_o he_o that_o hold_v it_o be_v capable_a of_o continue_v in_o no_o communion_n whatsoever_o and_o what_o can_v be_v put_v in_o practice_n but_o confusion_n in_o and_o break_v up_o of_o church_n will_v most_o certain_o follow_v this_o be_v what_o they_o of_o new-england_n have_v experience_n of_o and_o therefore_o provide_v against_o in_o their_o platform_n of_o church-discipline_n cap._n 3._o church-member_n say_v they_o may_v not_o depart_v from_o the_o church_n and_o so_o one_o from_o another_o as_o they_o please_v nor_o without_o just_a and_o weighty_a cause_n such_o departure_n tend_v to_o the_o dissolution_n of_o the_o body_n just_a reason_n for_o a_o member_n removal_n of_o himself_o part_n before_o and_o which_o will_v be_v further_a evident_a if_o you_o observe_v that_o their_o agreement_n with_o we_o in_o thirty_o six_o of_o our_o article_n make_v they_o to_o be_v no_o more_o of_o we_o whilst_o they_o differ_v in_o the_o other_o that_o refer_v to_o our_o constitution_n and_o which_o they_o separate_v from_o we_o for_o as_o they_o profess_v than_o that_o of_o the_o independent_o make_v they_o one_o with_o the_o presbyterian_o who_o in_o all_o matter_n of_o faith_n do_v free_o and_o full_o consent_v to_o the_o confession_n publish_v by_o the_o assembly_n the_o thing_n of_o church-government_n and_o discipline_n only_o except_v as_o they_o say_v in_o the_o preface_n to_o the_o platform_n of_o church-discipline_n in_o new-england_n and_o much_o to_o the_o same_o purpose_n be_v that_o of_o the_o congregational_a church_n meet_v at_o the_o savoy_n 1658._o but_o yet_o for_o all_o this_o they_o neither_o of_o they_o think_v themselves_o one_o with_o the_o other_o and_o the_o independent_o for_o their_o separation_n be_v notwithstanding_o accuse_v of_o schism_n by_o the_o other_o 2._o this_o course_n be_v unnecessary_a and_o so_o unlawful_a because_o even_o in_o the_o way_n in_o which_o a_o person_n be_v whilst_o a_o member_n of_o a_o true_a church_n in_o the_o sense_n all_o along_o speak_v of_o he_o may_v attain_v to_o all_o due_a improvement_n
