father_n that_o have_v this_o night_n preserve_v i_o from_o perish_v therefore_o lift_v i_o up_o my_o eye_n even_o to_o the_o heaven_n from_o whence_o i_o have_v obtain_v this_o safety_n yea_o betimes_o in_o the_o morning_n i_o will_v call_v upon_o thou_o that_o thy_o mercy_n may_v evermore_o preserve_v i_o and_o overshaddow_v i_o that_o no_o evil_a either_o of_o soul_n or_o body_n hurt_v i_o and_o grant_v that_o thy_o most_o sacred_a protection_n may_v always_o prevent_v all_o the_o secret_a and_o open_a evil_n which_o hang_v over_o my_o head_n give_v i_o thy_o spirit_n of_o wisdom_n and_o revelation_n this_o morning_n that_o i_o may_v know_v thou_o and_o serve_v thou_o lighten_v the_o eye_n of_o my_o understanding_n that_o i_o may_v know_v thy_o will_n and_o according_a unto_o the_o same_o frame_v all_o my_o action_n this_o day_n and_o grant_v also_o that_o i_o may_v find_v how_o excellent_a thou_o be_v in_o thy_o power_n how_o sweet_a thou_o be_v in_o thy_o mercy_n and_o in_o perform_v thy_o promise_n wherein_o thou_o continual_o work_v to_o the_o comfort_n defence_n and_o relief_n of_o all_o such_o as_o come_v unto_o thou_o o_o lord_n increase_v our_o faith_n a_o motion_n to_o a_o evening_n prayer_n the_o day_n be_v now_o past_a &_o the_o light_n of_o y_fw-fr e_o sun_n be_v overshaddow_v with_o darkness_n evening_n let_v we_o consider_v that_o even_o so_o there_o will_v come_v the_o day_n wherein_o the_o light_n of_o our_o bodily_a eye_n shall_v be_v shut_v up_o not_o for_o a_o night_n as_o in_o the_o bed_n through_o a_o slumber_n man_n but_o until_o the_o appearance_n of_o christ_n in_o his_o glory_n come_v to_o judgement_n and_o forasmuch_o as_o all_o thing_n for_o the_o most_o part_n rest_n at_o this_o time_n betake_v they_o to_o their_o rest_n &_o man_n be_v limit_v this_o time_n to_o cease_v from_o his_o labour_n it_o be_v our_o duty_n especial_o to_o betake_v we_o into_o the_o gracious_a protection_n of_o our_o good_a god_n submit_v we_o our_o body_n and_o soul_n to_o his_o tuition_n that_o if_o it_o be_v his_o pleasure_n to_o touch_v we_o this_o night_n with_o the_o finger_n of_o death_n we_o may_v be_v so_o ready_o prepare_v that_o we_o be_v not_o take_v at_o unaware_o but_o that_o we_o may_v have_v the_o light_n of_o the_o lamp_n of_o a_o faithful_a expectation_n of_o that_o bless_a hour_n burn_v continual_o in_o our_o heart_n which_o may_v awaken_v we_o out_o of_o the_o deadly_a slumber_n of_o security_n whereby_o otherwise_o we_o shall_v be_v so_o darken_v that_o we_o shall_v perish_v not_o only_o in_o our_o bed_n for_o a_o time_n but_o in_o our_o soul_n and_o body_n for_o ever_o and_o sure_o in_o this_o danger_n
