necessary_a that_o baptism_n shall_v be_v always_o administer_v by_o dip_v this_o necessity_n must_v arise_v from_o the_o will_n and_o intention_n of_o our_o saviour_n some_o way_n declare_v to_o we_o in_o the_o institution_n of_o baptism_n or_o in_o the_o administration_n of_o it_o leave_v to_o we_o in_o scripture_n and_o there_o must_v be_v some_o notice_n or_o evidence_n by_o which_o this_o intention_n or_o will_n of_o our_o saviour_n may_v be_v make_v manifest_a to_o we_o from_o which_o we_o may_v necessary_o infer_v or_o conclude_v that_o this_o particular_a form_n of_o administration_n be_v determinate_o prescribe_v by_o he_o and_o this_o i_o think_v can_v be_v collect_v no_o otherwise_o but_o by_o one_o or_o other_o or_o all_o of_o these_o three_o way_n viz._n either_o from_o the_o use_n and_o signification_n of_o the_o word_n by_o which_o this_o ordinance_n be_v express_v or_o from_o the_o example_n of_o the_o administration_n of_o it_o that_o be_v leave_v we_o in_o scripture_n or_o from_o the_o nature_n and_o end_n of_o the_o ordinance_n itself_o and_o if_o it_o can_v be_v necessary_o infer_v from_o all_o or_o either_o of_o these_o consideration_n that_o it_o be_v our_o saviour_n will_n and_o intention_n that_o baptism_n shall_v always_o be_v administer_v by_o dip_v then_o i_o suppose_v it_o will_v be_v allow_v that_o dip_v be_v not_o essential_a to_o baptism_n now_o i_o shall_v endeavour_v to_o prove_v that_o it_o can_v be_v necessary_o infer_v any_o of_o these_o way_n i._n not_o from_o the_o use_n or_o signification_n of_o the_o
