to_o live_v out_o of_o himself_o in_o god_n converse_v much_o with_o he_o a_o real_a christian_a will_v deny_v himself_o for_o god_n quit_v all_o self-interest_n and_o resign_v to_o he_o in_o all_o point_n of_o duty_n and_o service_n god_n glory_n be_v his_o end_n his_o work_n his_o direction_n he_o take_v no_o pleasure_n in_o himself_o nor_o in_o any_o thing_n without_o himself_o further_o than_o he_o see_v the_o stamp_n of_o god_n upon_o it_o he_o forget_v himself_o and_o mind_n nothing_o but_o the_o will_n of_o god_n triumph_v in_o nothing_o more_o than_o in_o his_o own_o nothingness_n and_o god_n all-sufficiency_n and_o fullness_n this_o be_v have_v nothing_o and_o yet_o possess_v all_o thing_n this_o be_v divine_a life_n and_o the_o height_n of_o religion_n to_o know_v and_o perceive_v that_o not_o only_o as_o to_o our_o natural_a life_n we_o depend_v upon_o providence_n and_o live_v and_o move_v in_o god_n but_o that_o also_o as_o to_o our_o spiritual_a life_n we_o receive_v all_o of_o his_o fullness_n and_o be_v act_v by_o a_o life_n in_o and_o from_o he_o of_o this_o i_o desire_v to_o be_v still_o more_o and_o continual_o sensible_a fourteen_o religion_n give_v we_o a_o real_a enjoyment_n of_o god_n the_o true_a christian_a live_v above_o himself_o not_o only_o in_o a_o way_n of_o self-denial_n but_o in_o the_o very_a enjoyment_n of_o god_n his_o fellowship_n be_v with_o the_o father_n and_o with_o the_o son_n he_o every_o where_o and_o in_o every_o thing_n seek_v out_o god_n in_o ordinance_n duty_n and_o providence_n whether_o prosperous_a or_o adverse_a nothing_o please_v unless_o god_n may_v be_v find_v in_o it_o or_o admit_v into_o it_o that_o be_v to_o he_o a_o ordinance_n indeed_o wherein_o he_o meet_v god_n that_o be_v a_o merciful_a providence_n indeed_o in_o which_o appear_v much_o of_o the_o finger_n of_o god_n god_n be_v near_a to_o the_o true_a christian_n than_o to_o other_o for_o there_o be_v a_o inward_a feel_n a_o intellectual_a touch_n which_o carnal_a man_n have_v not_o and_o herein_o be_v the_o very_a soul_n of_o religion_n and_o the_o quintessence_n of_o it_o that_o it_o unite_v we_o in_o a_o nearness_n to_o god_n and_o give_v we_o already_o to_o enjoy_v he_o xv._o religion_n give_v a_o man_n the_o power_n of_o himself_o who_o by_o nature_n be_v his_o own_o worst_a enemy_n true_a religion_n give_v a_o man_n a_o great_a command_n of_o and_o restore_v he_o to_o a_o just_a power_n and_o dominion_n over_o himself_o by_o subdue_a in_o he_o his_o own_o will_n and_o passion_n man_n in_o his_o deprave_a condition_n be_v himself_o his_o great_a enemy_n for_o the_o devil_n and_o world_n prevail_v against_o he_o not_o by_o their_o own_o strength_n but_o by_o the_o treachery_n and_o baseness_n of_o his_o own_o heart_n the_o destruction_n of_o soul_n be_v of_o themselves_o ignorance_n and_o neglect_n of_o god_n take_v away_o fear_v and_o there_o be_v in_o he_o such_o a_o inclination_n to_o sin_n as_o lead_v he_o to_o a_o delightful_a entertainment_n of_o temptation_n so_o that_o it_o be_v not_o so_o much_o the_o devil_n and_o the_o world_n without_o as_o the_o devil_n and_o the_o world_n within_o not_o the_o bait_n of_o honour_n wealth_n and_o pleasure_n without_o but_o ambition_n covetousness_n and_o sensuality_n within_o which_o prevail_v upon_o men._n wherefore_o unto_o purify_v soul_n and_o mortify_v mind_n many_o temptation_n do_v in_o a_o great_a measure_n cease_v to_o be_v temptation_n xvi_o self-denial_n bear_v a_o great_a part_n in_o the_o practice_n of_o true_a religion_n the_o great_a property_n of_o true_a religion_n be_v that_o it_o teach_v self-dental_a which_o self-denial_n be_v indeed_o the_o foundation_n of_o religion_n and_o the_o sum_n of_o all_o the_o precept_n of_o the_o gospel_n every_o true_a christian_a sincere_o though_o imperfect_o deny_v himself_o and_o make_v a_o freewill_n offer_v of_o himself_o to_o god_n in_o resign_v to_o he_o his_o will_n and_o indeed_o we_o can_v never_o have_v peace_n in_o prosperity_n unless_o our_o will_n as_o to_o action_n be_v swallow_v up_o in_o the_o divine_a will_n nor_o can_v we_o have_v contentment_n in_o adversity_n except_o our_o will_n be_v comply_v with_o god_n will._n this_o be_v the_o great_a victory_n to_o conquer_v ourselves_o and_o to_o he_o that_o thus_o overcome_v be_v the_o promise_v give_v of_o sit_v with_o christ_n in_o his_o throne_n xvii_o we_o glorify_v god_n not_o by_o give_v to_o he_o but_o by_o receive_v from_o he_o i_o know_v i_o can_v add_v nothing_o to_o god_n glory_n i_o glorify_v he_o by_o receive_v from_o he_o the_o impress_n of_o his_o glory_n upon_o i_o rather_o than_o by_o communicate_v any_o glory_n to_o he_o when_o the_o
