that_o the_o sunday_n catechism_n shall_v be_v handle_v not_o by_o familiar_a question_n and_o answer_n but_o by_o common-place_n and_o that_o their_o instruction_n may_v be_v facilitated_a who_o be_v grow_v in_o year_n they_o have_v substitute_v extraordinary_a catechise_n upon_o some_o certain_a day_n of_o the_o week_n precede_v the_o lord_n supper_n their_o practice_n be_v approve_v all_o the_o church_n of_o this_o kingdom_n be_v exhort_v to_o conform_v themselves_o to_o that_o order_n prescribe_v by_o the_o discipline_n as_o far_o as_o god_n shall_v enable_v they_o and_o in_o case_n they_o observe_v in_o all_o our_o church_n which_o shall_v take_v such_o care_n and_o course_n in_o their_o respective_a consistory_n as_o they_o shall_v judge_v will_v best_o contribute_v to_o the_o instruction_n of_o the_o faithful_a and_o in_o those_o church_n which_o have_v two_o sermon_n on_o the_o lord_n day_n the_o second_o sermon_n shall_v be_v turn_v into_o a_o exposition_n of_o the_o catechism_n by_o way_n of_o common-place_n adapt_a their_o discourse_n to_o the_o mean_a capacity_n and_o in_o those_o church_n and_o town_n where_o there_o be_v more_o frequent_a preach_v as_o on_o every_o day_n of_o the_o week_n there_o be_v in_o some_o they_o be_v exhort_v to_o exchange_v one_o or_o more_o of_o these_o sermon_n into_o familiar_a catechistical_a exercise_n and_o such_o as_o be_v more_o populous_a and_o disperse_v into_o divers_a quarter_n they_o be_v exhort_v to_o hire_v a_o fit_a person_n n_o to_o instruct_v the_o child_n in_o all_o the_o quarter_n of_o those_o city_n and_o of_o the_o country_n or_o at_o least_o to_o choose_v out_o in_o every_o quarter_n such_o elder_n as_o be_v man_n able_a and_o willing_a to_o do_v this_o good_a service_n unto_o the_o church_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n and_o all_o father_n and_o mother_n shall_v take_v a_o especial_a care_n of_o the_o religious_a education_n of_o their_o child_n teach_v they_o themselves_o and_o commit_v they_o to_o godly_a minister_n who_o may_v form_v their_o tender_a year_n unto_o godliness_n and_o all_o colloquy_n and_o synod_n be_v enjoin_v to_o take_v cognizance_n once_o a_o year_n of_o the_o may_v be_v make_v from_o they_o and_o put_v in_o practice_n till_o the_o meeting_n of_o the_o next_o national_a synod_n unto_o which_o a_o account_n of_o the_o whole_a shall_v be_v give_v and_o that_o pastor_n may_v acquit_v themselves_o more_o careful_o of_o this_o most_o needful_a part_n of_o their_o ministry_n and_o may_v have_v the_o more_o time_n for_o their_o private_a study_n and_o better_o prepare_v themselves_o for_o their_o public_a work_n in_o the_o pulpit_n and_o give_v more_o satisfaction_n unto_o their_o auditory_n by_o a_o clear_a judicious_a and_o solid_a explication_n of_o the_o sacred_a scripture_n those_o church_n who_o minister_n be_v oblige_v to_o preach_v often_o than_o three_o time_n in_o the_o week_n be_v entreat_v to_o discharge_v they_o of_o some_o part_n of_o this_o exercise_n that_o they_o may_v be_v the_o better_o qualify_v for_o their_o work_n and_o may_v apply_v themselves_o more_o profitable_o to_o the_o instruction_n of_o the_o youth_n by_o familiar_a catechise_n and_o synod_n and_o colloquy_n shall_v see_v unto_o it_o that_o pastor_n and_o their_o church_n do_v all_o of_o they_o endeavour_v the_o advancement_n of_o their_o member_n
