in_o those_o â—â—mes_n when_o the_o great_a part_n of_o the_o world_n be_v in_o a_o state_n of_o heathenism_n and_o in_o estrangement_n from_o christ_n and_o the_o mystery_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o be_v careful_a of_o this_o charge_n that_o they_o keep_v themselves_o from_o idol_n there_o be_v the_o idol_n of_o the_o heathen_n grant_v it_o and_o so_o still_o there_o be_v a_o generation_n of_o people_n that_o our_o soul_n shall_v mourn_v over_o to_o consider_v their_o state_n and_o be_v wrap_v up_o in_o ignorance_n of_o god_n know_v nothing_o of_o the_o true_a god_n and_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o it_o be_v the_o state_n and_o condition_n of_o the_o jew_n at_o this_o day_n and_o what_o a_o sad_a condition_n be_v they_o in_o grant_v it_o they_o worship_v not_o idol_n after_o the_o manner_n of_o the_o heathen_n yet_o they_o worship_v not_o the_o true_a god_n because_o they_o worship_v not_o god_n in_o christ_n for_o say_v the_o apostle_n whoever_o sin_n and_o abide_v not_o in_o the_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n he_o have_v not_o god_n he_o that_o abide_v in_o the_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n he_o have_v the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n and_o so_o the_o jew_n at_o this_o day_n they_o not_o abide_v not_o own_v the_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n they_o have_v not_o god_n because_o they_o have_v not_o the_o father_n and_o the_o son_n this_o be_v their_o condition_n and_o thus_o i_o say_v there_o be_v not_o only_o the_o idol_n of_o the_o heathen_a oh_o but_o sad_o be_v it_o speak_v there_o be_v idol_n among_o person_n pretend_v to_o christ_n and_o gospel_n faith_n and_o the_o doctrine_n concern_v grace_n by_o jesus_n christ_n how_o man_n idol_n and_o idolater_n be_v there_o i_o may_v tell_v the_o govetous_a person_n be_v a_o idolater_n the_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n but_o yet_o what_o woeful_a idolatry_n be_v there_o among_o they_o there_o be_v the_o dragon_n worship_n in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o heathen_n and_o in_o the_o room_n of_o that_o there_o be_v come_v up_o the_o beast-worship_n and_o of_o that_o worship_n the_o generality_n of_o the_o world_n run_v upon_o and_o it_o concern_v we_o to_o keep_v from_o popish_a idolatry_n it_o be_v the_o gross_a idolatry_n that_o ever_o be_v because_o there_o be_v the_o suit_a petence_n of_o worship_v jesus_n and_o yet_o they_o turn_v he_o into_o a_o idol_n what_o else_o mean_v their_o worship_v and_o bow_v to_o image_n their_o breaden_a god_n and_o the_o like_a oh_o therefore_o it_o concern_v we_o to_o keep_v ourselves_o from_o idol_n and_o there_o be_v a_o scripture_n if_o it_o be_v but_o well_o study_v will_v cause_v tremble_v of_o heart_n and_o make_v all_o that_o have_v any_o care_n of_o their_o soul_n to_o look_v about_o they_o that_o scripture_n i_o refer_v you_o to_o be_v in_o rev._n 13._o compare_v with_o rev._n 20._o in_o rev._n 13.11_o whereas_o before_o there_o be_v dragon-worship_n it_o be_v say_v here_o i_o behold_v another_o beast_n come_v out_o of_o the_o shall_v set_v their_o affection_n upon_o thing_n above_o and_o not_o on_o thing_n on_o earth_n colos_n 3.2_o what_o a_o unsuitable_a thing_n be_v it_o for_o a_o christian_a to_o be_v take_v up_o heavenly_a extraction_n by_o their_o holy_a and_o heavenly_a affection_n and_o that_o such_o as_o be_v the_o son_n and_o daughter_n of_o god_n by_o adoption_n and_o sanctification_n will_v not_o walk_v so_o far_o beneath_o that_o relation_n three_o labour_n to_o imitate_v your_o heavenly_a father_n be_v you_o follower_n of_o god_n as_o dear_a child_n ephes_n 5.1_o be_v you_o merciful_a as_o your_o heavenly_a father_n be_v merciful_a be_v you_o holy_a as_o he_o be_v holy_a be_v you_o compassionate_a as_o he_o be_v in_o all_o thing_n labour_v to_o imitate_v your_o heavenly_a father_n it_o this_o occasion_n you_o may_v remember_v be_v this_o doct._n that_o the_o consideration_n of_o a_o believer_n interest_n into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n shall_v make_v he_o cheerful_a and_o courageous_a in_o the_o practice_n of_o holiness_n and_o
