word_n here_o signify_v he_o plead_v for_o duty_n from_o their_o wife_n in_o hope_n of_o gain_v they_o thereby_o that_o if_o any_o obey_v not_o the_o word_n they_o may_v without_o the_o word_n be_v win_v by_o the_o conversation_n of_o the_o wife_n 8._o the_o win_n of_o a_o sinner_n to_o jesus_n christ_n be_v a_o employment_n full_a of_o gain_n and_o advantage_n as_o the_o word_n here_o translate_v to_o be_v win_v signify_v both_o to_o the_o sinner_n itself_o who_o be_v thereby_o make_v partaker_n of_o the_o true_a riches_n jam._n 2.5_o and_o to_o those_o who_o be_v instrumental_a offend_a god_n in_o the_o heart_n by_o which_o christian_n depart_v from_o evil_a in_o their_o practice_n prov._n 16.6_o nor_o be_v there_o any_o true_a fear_n of_o god_n in_o the_o heart_n where_o the_o conversation_n be_v not_o in_o some_o measure_n holy_a jer._n 32.40_o for_o though_o this_o chastity_n and_o fear_n of_o christian_a woman_n here_o speak_v of_o may_v be_v take_v with_o a_o special_a respect_n to_o their_o husband_n yet_o the_o word_n be_v of_o a_o large_a signification_n and_o must_v necessary_o include_v holiness_n of_o life_n and_o fear_v of_o offend_a god_n in_o the_o heart_n what_o ever_o they_o may_v suffer_v from_o their_o husband_n the_o one_o whereof_o can_v be_v separate_v from_o the_o other_o a_o chaste_a conversation_n couple_v with_o fear_n verse_n 3._o who_o adorn_v let_v it_o not_o be_v that_o outward_a adorn_v of_o plait_v the_o hair_n and_o of_o wear_v of_o gold_n or_o of_o put_v on_o of_o apparel_n 4._o but_o let_v it_o be_v the_o hide_a man_n of_o the_o heart_n in_o that_o which_o be_v not_o corruptible_a even_o the_o ornament_n of_o a_o meek_a and_o quiet_a spirit_n which_o be_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n of_o great_a price_n the_o apostle_n give_v here_o two_o further_a direction_n to_o believe_a woman_n for_o attain_v to_o such_o a_o conversation_n as_o through_o the_o lord_n blessing_n may_v prove_v a_o mean_a of_o gain_v their_o unbelieving_a husband_n the_o one_o be_v negative_a that_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v too_o curious_a and_o superfluous_a in_o trim_v their_o outward_a man_n the_o other_o be_v positive_a that_o their_o great_a pain_n shall_v be_v to_o have_v their_o inward_a man_n adorn_v with_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n especial_o meekness_n and_o peaceablenesse_n of_o spirit_n in_o these_o care_n which_o god_n require_v to_o be_v cast_v upon_o he_o be_v one_o of_o the_o great_a sign_n of_o pride_n in_o the_o world_n and_o to_o trust_v god_n with_o the_o weight_n of_o these_o
