ransom_n sufficient_a to_o redeem_v the_o most_o considerable_a slave_n satan_n have_v and_o he_o be_v able_a by_o the_o evidence_n of_o gospel_n to_o evince_v the_o strong_a reason_n of_o flesh_n and_o blood_n why_o may_v not_o this_o man_n prove_v a_o paul_n this_o trajan_n prove_v a_o joseph_n why_o may_v not_o some_o of_o these_o all_o be_v here_o where_o i_o live_v and_o under_o who_o that_o be_v the_o notorious_a enemy_n of_o peace_n and_o holiness_n that_o so_o through_o their_o watchfulness_n and_o care_n the_o subject_n may_v be_v deliver_v from_o such_o fear_n and_o trouble_v as_o be_v incident_a to_o they_o through_o a_o loose_a and_o tyrannical_a government_n first_o then_o let_v we_o look_v into_o our_o own_o duty_n which_o be_v to_o seek_v of_o god_n for_o spiritual_a and_o temporal_a blessing_n to_o be_v pour_v forth_o upon_o the_o supreme_a magistrate_n what_o ever_o he_o be_v and_o of_o all_o under_o he_o or_o they_o act_v in_o the_o same_o government_n that_o peace_n may_v be_v establish_v godliness_n advance_v honesty_n maintain_v to_o discuss_v this_o plain_o we_o shall_v draw_v it_o forth_o into_o these_o proposition_n 1._o that_o the_o disposition_n and_o inward_a frame_n of_o a_o christian_a shall_v be_v for_o a_o peaceable_a godly_a and_o honest_a life_n 2._o that_o the_o people_n of_o god_n under_o any_o government_n whatsoever_o may_v be_v lest_o he_o shall_v destroy_v himself_o and_o they_o from_o who_o and_o for_o who_o he_o have_v receive_v his_o power_n so_o that_o they_o that_o act_n herein_o that_o examine_v and_o judge_v herein_o be_v man_n in_o just_a authority_n and_o if_o he_o prove_v incorrigible_a and_o irreducible_a to_o act_v according_a to_o his_o legal_a and_o entrust_v power_n he_o may_v be_v liable_a to_o sentence_n those_o unusual_a and_o extraordinary_a imposition_n of_o tax_n but_o know_v that_o as_o a_o good_a magistrate_n will_v not_o impose_v unnecessary_a burden_n so_o the_o good_a subject_n will_v take_v the_o magistrate_n see_v the_o whole_a in_o great_a danger_n nay_o when_o a_o subordinate_a magistrate_n perceive_v a_o part_n in_o a_o desperate_a estate_n on_o a_o sudden_a it_o be_v then_o lawful_a for_o he_o to_o proceed_v in_o the_o execution_n of_o his_o place_n against_o law_n &_o to_o use_v any_o mean_n to_o that_o end_n and_o not_o to_o stay_v for_o the_o order_n of_o those_o mean_n by_o law_n till_o all_o be_v ruin_v so_o it_o be_v lawful_a to_o infringe_v some_o of_o the_o subject_n liberty_n to_o repair_v and_o maintain_v the_o rest_n of_o his_o liberty_n i_o know_v such_o action_n work_v much_o against_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o wealthy_a and_o covetous_a subject_n who_o mind_v his_o own_o profit_n more_o than_o the_o publick_n &_o look_v no_o further_o after_o the_o business_n of_o other_o than_o he_o can_v work_v into_o his_o own_o and_o therefore_o call_v upon_o the_o superior_n for_o justice_n justice_z protection_n peace_n and_o the_o least_o prevarication_n
