world_n do_v keep_v we_o at_o a_o distance_n from_o god_n the_o fountain_n of_o life_n these_o like_a mud_n in_o the_o head_n of_o a_o spring_n cause_v such_o obstruction_n that_o a_o source_n of_o live_v water_n though_o it_o be_v just_a at_o hand_n can_v gush_v out_o now_o obedience_n give_v a_o check_n to_o these_o lust_n it_o hinder_v they_o from_o work_v while_o it_o find_v the_o soul_n a_o far_o different_a employment_n it_o hinder_v they_o from_o thrive_a by_o divert_v the_o sap_n of_o the_o soul_n some_o other_o way_n while_o man_n neglect_v obedience_n and_o give_v the_o reins_o unto_o their_o lust_n they_o bring_v themselves_o more_o under_o the_o power_n of_o their_o lust_n and_o they_o have_v the_o less_o command_n over_o themselves_o to_o refuse_v do_v what_o their_o lust_n promp_v they_o to_o neither_o can_v they_o so_o easy_o exert_v themselves_o into_o their_o former_a liberty_n but_o if_o we_o deny_v our_o lust_n and_o discharge_v duty_n in_o spite_n of_o they_o we_o famish_v they_o and_o thereby_o weaken_v they_o that_o they_o can_v have_v that_o rule_n
