avail_v it_o unto_o a_o man_n to_o be_v the_o monarch_n of_o the_o whole_a world_n if_o he_o have_v not_o subject_n to_o govern_v if_o he_o have_v not_o a_o wife_n to_o increase_v his_o offspring_n if_o he_o have_v not_o child_n to_o honour_n and_o defend_v he_o and_o last_o if_o he_o have_v not_o friend_n to_o rejoice_v with_o he_o in_o prosperity_n and_o to_o comfort_v he_o in_o adversity_n yea_o if_o he_o be_v not_o happy_a straight_a way_n that_o have_v all_o these_o thing_n how_o unhappy_a be_v he_o then_o that_o want_v so_o many_o goodly_a commodity_n and_o by_o this_o mean_v a_o proud_a man_n be_v to_o be_v think_v most_o infortunate_a for_o when_o he_o begin_v to_o take_v a_o opinion_n of_o himself_o even_o than_o be_v he_o first_o mislike_v of_o other_o where_o he_o fawn_v he_o be_v fear_v where_o he_o love_v he_o be_v suspect_v where_o he_o favour_v most_o he_o be_v lest_o regard_v again_o when_o he_o frown_v he_o be_v forsake_v when_o he_o laugh_n he_o be_v envy_a and_o when_o he_o mourn_v he_o be_v leave_v desolate_a but_o he_o be_v wary_a and_o wise_a he_o will_v trust_v none_o neither_o shall_v he_o be_v trust_v of_o any_o he_o be_v proud_a because_o he_o be_v rich_a but_o he_o be_v poor_a in_o that_o he_o be_v proud_a he_o be_v strong_a in_o power_n but_o he_o be_v weak_a in_o wisdom_n he_o be_v comely_a in_o proportion_n but_o he_o be_v deform_v in_o condition_n way_n these_o thing_n together_o in_o the_o true_a balance_n of_o reason_n and_o you_o shall_v perceive_v the_o weight_n of_o sin_n and_o heavy_a burden_n of_o mischief_n able_a to_o sink_v the_o strong_a the_o comely_a and_o the_o proud_a man_n alive_a into_o the_o deadly_a pit_n of_o destruction_n dionysius_n be_v wise_a and_o yet_o he_o beguile_v himself_o for_o he_o be_v shameful_o murder_v by_o the_o consent_n of_o his_o wife_n brennus_n be_v valiant_a yet_o can_v not_o withstand_v the_o wrath_n of_o the_o gods._n and_o tarqvinius_n be_v proud_a but_o pride_n be_v mischief_n and_o mortal_a enemy_n to_o mankind_n ever_o since_o the_o beginning_a of_o the_o world_n even_o he_o i_o mean_v which_o bring_v the_o first_o care_n and_o calamity_n unto_o adam_n by_o the_o taste_n of_o a_o apple_n for_o it_o be_v none_o but_o he_o which_o covert_o seek_v by_o false_a provocation_n to_o bring_v we_o unto_o mischief_n it_o be_v he_o that_o set_v the_o spiteful_a plant_n of_o pride_n and_o he_o that_o sow_n the_o most_o hateful_a seed_n of_o dissension_n but_o he_o name_v himself_o the_o prince_n of_o the_o world_n how_o shall_v we_o than_o seek_v to_o confound_v he_o nay_o but_o he_o be_v the_o father_n of_o lie_n and_o therefore_o we_o will_v not_o believe_v he_o he_o be_v but_o a_o shadow_n and_o why_o shall_v we_o then_o fear_v he_o he_o triumph_v over_o worldling_n like_o a_o lion_n but_o resist_v he_o stout_o and_o he_o vanish_v into_o nothing_o will_v thou_o learn_v to_o withstand_v the_o temptation_n of_o satan_n then_o you_o must_v faithful_o cleave_v to_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n which_o will_v not_o suffer_v the_o righteous_a to_o be_v confound_v but_o thou_o can_v not_o be_v righteous_a of_o thyself_o nor_o faithful_a without_o humility_n nor_o humble_a without_o charity_n for_o these_o virtue_n be_v unite_v and_o can_v not_o be_v separate_v so_o that_o he_o which_o will_v have_v the_o favour_n of_o the_o divine_a majesty_n must_v needs_o endeavour_v himself_o to_o resist_v the_o strength_n and_o power_n of_o our_o universal_a enemy_n neither_o be_v it_o too_o late_a at_o any_o time_n to_o resort_v unto_o goodness_n nor_o too_o tymelye_o to_o prevent_v mischief_n we_o must_v use_v no_o procrastination_n and_o delay_n to_o be_v virtuous_a for_o he_o that_o be_v not_o ready_a to_o think_v well_o to_o day_n will_v be_v more_o unlikely_a to_o do_v good_a on_o the_o morrow_n and_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o think_v ill_o of_o none_o but_o we_o must_n in_o that_o we_o may_v do_v good_a unto_o all_o yea_o even_o unto_o our_o enemy_n for_o thus_o be_v we_o teach_v to_o do_v good_a for_o evil_n which_o be_v the_o fruit_n of_o perfect_a charity_n much_o less_o than_o ought_v we_o to_o disdain_v
