holy_a thing_n in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n &_o let_v these_o latter_a people_n make_v much_o of_o this_o work_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o they_o and_o labour_n to_o increase_v in_o the_o same_o before_o god_n and_o man_n that_o it_o may_v be_v a_o notable_a and_o continual_a pledge_n unto_o their_o faith_n but_o let_v the_o other_o fear_n and_o tremble_v who_o have_v a_o double_a note_n of_o great_a ungodliness_n in_o they_o the_o one_o that_o they_o be_v not_o ashamed_a of_o evil_n before_o god_n and_o man_n the_o other_o that_o they_o be_v ashamed_a of_o good_a duty_n in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n &_o man_n and_o let_v they_o labour_v the_o amendment_n of_o it_o or_o else_o it_o will_v go_v hard_a with_o they_o both_o before_o god_n and_o man_n and_o that_o in_o this_o life_n and_o the_o life_n to_o come_v also_o verse_n 6._o teach_v we_o in_o all_o reverence_n and_o regard_n to_o esteem_v the_o church_n because_o there_o be_v in_o the_o same_o the_o abundance_n of_o all_o treasure_n fit_a to_o furnish_v we_o in_o the_o execution_n of_o our_o duty_n both_o towards_o god_n and_o man_n and_o to_o make_v we_o able_a in_o all_o sweet_a and_o delicate_a sort_n to_o entertain_v the_o lord_n of_o life_n to_o his_o glory_n and_o our_o eternal_a comfort_n the_o profane_a and_o worldly_a people_n can_v possible_o behold_v these_o thing_n because_o they_o look_v no_o further_o than_o the_o eye_n of_o flesh_n and_o blood_n direct_v they_o or_o the_o line_n of_o their_o own_o reason_n will_v lead_v they_o they_o only_o the_o eye_n of_o who_o understanding_n god_n have_v open_v by_o his_o word_n and_o spirit_n perceive_v these_o excellent_a mystery_n for_o it_o be_v the_o spiritual_a man_n that_o discern_v all_o thing_n yea_o even_o the_o deep_a thing_n of_o god_n 1._o cor._n 2._o 10._o 15._o which_o be_v not_o only_o true_a in_o the_o mystery_n of_o faith_n and_o religion_n but_o even_o in_o descry_v and_o discern_v the_o church_n of_o god_n also_o for_o if_o a_o man_n have_v no_o better_o load_v man_n than_o the_o light_n of_o his_o own_o wit_n it_o be_v more_o likely_a that_o he_o shall_v embrace_v the_o synagogue_n of_o satan_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o outward_a glory_n and_o glitter_a of_o it_o instead_o of_o the_o church_n than_o the_o lord_n church_n indeed_o verse_n 7._o teach_v we_o that_o we_o can_v never_o have_v spiritual_a ease_n nor_o spiritual_a comfort_n till_o we_o be_v assure_v of_o and_o do_v effectual_o feel_v christ_n and_o his_o merit_n and_o do_v plentiful_o taste_v of_o the_o love_a kindness_n and_o favour_n of_o god_n towards_o we_o in_o he_o they_o that_o be_v distress_v in_o body_n &_o soul_n and_o look_v for_o rest_n and_o consolation_n else_o where_o than_o in_o he_o we_o may_v perceive_v by_o this_o be_v foul_o deceive_v as_o they_o also_o that_o have_v their_o only_a joy_n felicity_n and_o contentment_n in_o the_o outward_a either_o pleasure_n or_o profit_n of_o this_o life_n notable_o say_v david_n
