tinner_n have_v advance_v the_o price_n of_o tin_n near_o 20_o s._n the_o hundred_o to_o the_o foreigner_n as_o well_o to_o as_o our_o own_o subject_n the_o tinners_n price_n be_v then_o but_o 48_o or_o 50_o s._n the_o hundred_o and_o the_o last_o c●ristma●_n coinage_n it_o be_v advance_v to_o 3_o l._n 7_o s._n the_o hundred_o beside_o the_o coinage_n duty_n so_o that_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o 8_o or_o 10_o s._n the_o hundred_o additional_a duty_n will_v not_o discourage_v the_o foreign_a vent_n of_o tin_n since_o that_o will_v not_o advance_v the_o price_n to_o the_o foreigner_n one_o half_a so_o much_o as_o the_o tinner_n or_o merchant_n have_v advance_v it_o since_o the_o take_n off_o the_o duty_n and_o the_o difference_n only_o be_v that_o the_o duty_n be_v to_o the_o king_n and_o for_o the_o good_a of_o the_o public_a and_o the_o 20_o s._n per_fw-la hundred_o now_o advance_v in_o price_n be_v to_o the_o private_a gain_n and_o advantage_n of_o the_o tinner_n and_o merchant_n who_o make_v this_o objection_n against_o the_o return_n and_o increase_v of_o the_o duty_n which_o be_v not_o only_a much_o to_o the_o king_n advantage_n but_o also_o the_o only_a remedy_n to_o the_o duty_n and_o consequent_o great_o impoverish_v they_o who_o be_v too_o poor_a already_o answer_n if_o the_o conspumptioner_n of_o any_o good_n bear_v the_o duty_n as_o be_v general_o agree_v then_o the_o duty_n advance_v will_v not_o be_v bear_v by_o the_o tinner_n nor_o any_o of_o our_o own_o subject_n but_o by_o the_o foreigner_n beyond_o sea_n who_o consume_v our_o tin_n export_v but_o if_o it_o shall_v any_o way_n affect_v the_o tinner_n which_o can_v be_v admit_v they_o may_v well_o bear_v it_o out_o of_o the_o 20_o s._n per_fw-la cent._n they_o have_v advance_v to_o themselves_o in_o price_n since_o the_o 4_o s._n 4_o d._n per_fw-la cent._n be_v take_v off_o the_o duty_n note_n it_o can_v be_v deny_v but_o that_o there_o be_v yearly_o export_v out_o of_o england_n upward_o of_o 1000_o tun_n or_o tin_n one_o year_n with_o another_o and_o therefore_o every_o shilling_n the_o hundred_o add_v to_o the_o duty_n will_v increase_v the_o king_n custom_n
