observation_n of_o the_o lord_n mercy_n in_o the_o deliverance_n of_o david_n be_v the_o recourse_n that_o other_o shall_v make_v unto_o the_o lord_n by_o humble_a petition_n in_o the_o day_n of_o their_o trouble_n vers_fw-la 6._o where_o he_o say_v they_o shall_v look_v unto_o the_o lord_n and_o flock_n unto_o he_o that_o be_v they_o observe_v how_o merciful_o the_o lord_n have_v proceed_v of_o supplication_n now_o this_o their_o recourse_n unto_o the_o lord_n by_o way_n of_o humble_a petition_n be_v recommend_v unto_o we_o by_o note_v the_o bless_a issue_n follow_v thereupon_o the_o issue_n be_v that_o upon_o such_o their_o recourse_n unto_o the_o lord_n for_o help_v their_o face_n shall_v not_o be_v ashamed_a that_o be_v they_o shall_v find_v favour_n in_o the_o lord_n sight_n for_o grant_v of_o their_o request_n the_o prophet_n have_v thus_o exhort_v other_o to_o a_o concurrence_n with_o he_o in_o magnify_v the_o lord_n he_o now_o persuade_v they_o to_o a_o performance_n of_o two_o other_o duty_n 1._o the_o one_o of_o meditate_v on_o the_o goodness_n of_o the_o lord_n to_o the_o end_n they_o may_v repose_v upon_o he_o vers_n 9_o 2._o the_o other_o of_o fear_v the_o lord_n vers_n 10._o the_o former_a duty_n be_v recommend_v and_o press_v by_o this_o argument_n if_o they_o be_v bless_v who_o trust_n in_o the_o lord_n then_o ought_v we_o to_o meditate_v on_o his_o goodness_n that_o we_o may_v thereupon_o be_v move_v to_o trust_v in_o he_o but_o they_o be_v bless_v who_o trust_n in_o the_o lord_n vers_n 9_o in_o the_o end_n therefore_o ought_v we_o to_o meditate_v on_o the_o goodness_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o we_o may_v thereupon_o be_v move_v to_o trust_v in_o he_o vers_n 9_o in_o the_o beginning_n where_o by_o taste_v and_o see_v how_o gracious_a the_o lord_n be_v we_o must_v take_v to_o be_v mean_v not_o a_o bare_a knowledge_n of_o the_o lord_n goodness_n but_o a_o serious_a meditation_n accompany_v the_o same_o and_o such_o as_o may_v persuade_v our_o heart_n to_o a_o confident_a dependence_n on_o he_o which_o point_n of_o dependence_n and_o trust_n in_o the_o lord_n howsoever_o it_o be_v not_o mention_v in_o the_o first_o part_n of_o this_o 9_o verse_n which_o present_v unto_o we_o the_o exhortation_n of_o meditate_v on_o the_o goodness_n of_o the_o lord_n yet_o must_v we_o conceive_v it_o to_o be_v there_o in_o effect_n &_o sense_n as_o if_o the_o prophet_n have_v say_v taste_v and_o see_v how_o gracious_a the_o lord_n be_v that_o thereupon_o you_o may_v be_v draw_v to_o trust_v in_o he_o for_o bless_a be_v the_o man_n who_o trust_v in_o he_o the_o other_o duty_n whereto_o the_o prophet_n persuade_v we_o be_v this_o that_o we_o shall_v fear_v the_o lord_n that_o be_v that_o we_o shall_v serve_v and_o honour_v he_o in_o the_o carriage_n of_o our_o life_n this_o duty_n be_v enforce_v and_o persuade_v in_o this_o sort_n such_o as_o fear_v the_o lord_n want_v nothing_o vers_fw-la 10._o in_o the_o end_n therefore_o fear_v the_o lord_n you_o saint_n of_o he_o vers_fw-la 10._o in_o the_o beginning_n the_o first_o part_n of_o this_o reason_n be_v handle_v by_o a_o comparison_n wherein_o be_v show_v the_o different_a proceed_n hold_v by_o the_o lord_n towards_o such_o as_o fear_v he_o and_o towards_o such_o as_o be_v of_o a_o proud_a spirit_n and_o repose_v on_o their_o own_o strength_n have_v reject_v all_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o these_o he_o call_v young_a lion_n the_o comparison_n be_v this_o young_a lion_n be_v in_o want_n and_o hunger_n vers_fw-la 11._o but_o such_o as_o fear_v the_o lord_n want_v no_o good_a thing_n vers_fw-la 10._o and_o 11._o here_o in_o the_o 11._o verse_n such_o as_o fear_v the_o lord_n be_v note_v unto_o we_o by_o a_o particular_a action_n of_o they_o which_o be_v to_o seek_v the_o lord_n by_o prayer_n now_o in_o the_o 12._o verse_n the_o prophet_n by_o way_n of_o prevention_n offer_v to_o satisfy_v a_o question_n that_o may_v be_v demand_v touch_v their_o disciple_n to_o testify_v their_o special_a love_n and_o kindness_n unto_o they_o vers_n 12._o in_o the_o beginning_n 2._o by_o note_v unto_o they_o the_o worthiness_n of_o the_o subject_n in_o the_o knowledge_n whereof_o he_o will_v inform_v they_o which_o be_v the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n vers_n 12._o in_o the_o end_n 3._o by_o remember_v unto_o they_o the_o desire_n that_o be_v in_o every_o of_o they_o of_o a_o happy_a life_n vers_fw-la 13._o where_o by_o way_n of_o a_o interrogation_n he_o advertise_v they_o that_o this_o desire_n of_o enjoy_v happiness_n
