acknowledge_v so_o to_o be_v his_o majesty_n can_v so_o much_o wrong_v that_o trust_n which_o the_o law_n of_o god_n and_o this_o land_n have_v annex_v to_o the_o crown_n for_o the_o protection_n and_o security_n of_o his_o people_n as_o to_o divest_v himself_o and_o successor_n of_o the_o power_n of_o the_o sword_n yet_o to_o give_v a_o infallible_a evidence_n of_o his_o desire_n to_o secure_v the_o performance_n of_o such_o agreement_n as_o shall_v be_v make_v in_o order_n to_o a_o peace_n his_o majesty_n will_v consent_v to_o a_o act_n of_o parliament_n that_o the_o whole_a power_n of_o the_o militia_n both_o by_o sea_n and_o land_n for_o and_o during_o his_o whole_a reign_n shall_v be_v order_v and_o dispose_v by_o his_o two_o house_n of_o parliament_n or_o by_o such_o person_n as_o they_o shall_v appoint_v with_o power_n limit_v for_o suppress_v of_o force_n within_o this_o kingdom_n to_o the_o disturbance_n of_o the_o public_a peace_n and_o against_o foreign_a composition_n that_o shall_v be_v make_v before_o the_o conclude_a of_o the_o peace_n and_o the_o arrear_n of_o such_o as_o have_v be_v already_o make_v the_o assistance_n of_o the_o clergy_n and_o whole_a term_n of_o his_o reign_n by_o the_o two_o house_n of_o parliament_n their_o patent_n and_o commission_n be_v take_v from_o his_o majesty_n and_o after_o to_o return_v to_o the_o crown_n as_o be_v express_v in_o the_o article_n of_o the_o militia_n for_o the_o court_n of_o ward_n and_o livery_n his_o majesty_n very_o well_o know_v the_o consequence_n of_o take_v that_o away_o by_o turn_v of_o all_o tenure_n into_o common_a soccage_n as_o well_o in_o point_n of_o revenue_n to_o the_o crown_n as_o in_o the_o protection_n of_o many_o of_o his_o subject_n be_v infant_n nevertheless_o if_o the_o continuance_n thereof_o seem_v grievous_a to_o his_o subject_n rather_o than_o he_o will_v fail_v on_o his_o part_n in_o give_v satisfaction_n he_o will_v consent_v to_o a_o act_n for_o take_v of_o it_o away_o so_o as_o a_o full_a recompense_n be_v settle_v upon_o his_o majesty_n and_o his_o successor_n in_o perpetuity_n and_o that_o the_o arrear_n now_o due_a be_v reserve_v unto_o he_o
