for_o the_o work_n and_o service_n which_o they_o do_v there_o be_v no_o doubt_n a_o reverence_n and_o respect_n due_a to_o a_o sacred_a function_n on_o its_o own_o account_n but_o the_o high_a profession_n can_v never_o maintain_v its_o character_n among_o the_o rest_n of_o mankind_n unless_o they_o who_o be_v of_o it_o do_v promote_v the_o general_n good_a by_o act_v suitable_o to_o it_o and_o the_o great_a the_o character_n be_v which_o any_o bear_n the_o high_a will_v the_o expectation_n of_o other_o be_v concern_v they_o and_o if_o they_o fail_v in_o the_o great_a and_o most_o useful_a duty_n of_o their_o function_n it_o will_v be_v impossible_a to_o keep_v up_o the_o regard_n which_o ought_v to_o be_v show_v unto_o it_o we_o may_v complain_v as_o long_o as_o we_o please_v of_o the_o unreasonableness_n of_o the_o contempt_n of_o the_o clergy_n in_o our_o day_n which_o be_v too_o general_a and_o too_o far_o spread_v but_o the_o most_o effectual_a mean_n to_o prevent_v
