because_o they_o be_v there_o more_o passionate_o concern_v their_o excess_n can_v but_o be_v proportionable_o more_o vehement_a insomuch_o that_o he_o that_o be_v spiteful_a will_v be_v more_o so_o for_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n he_o that_o be_v factious_a will_v be_v more_o so_o for_o the_o godly_a party_n he_o that_o be_v peevish_a will_v be_v more_o so_o for_o his_o orthodox_n or_o what_o be_v the_o same_o to_o he_o his_o own_o opinion_n and_o he_o that_o be_v malicious_a will_v be_v more_o so_o against_o the_o enemy_n of_o the_o power_n of_o godliness_n so_o that_o when_o man_n passion_n be_v as_o you_o easy_o see_v they_o may_v be_v infuse_v into_o their_o religion_n that_o do_v but_o make_v they_o more_o eager_a and_o turbulent_a and_o it_o be_v so_o far_o from_o abate_v their_o rage_n that_o it_o heighten_v and_o imbitter_v their_o malice_n and_o therefore_o to_o i_o it_o be_v no_o wonder_n to_o observe_v how_o some_o man_n will_v pray_v with_o the_o ardour_n of_o a_o angel_n love_n god_n with_o rapture_n of_o joy_n and_o delight_n be_v transport_v with_o deep_a and_o pathetic_a devotion_n talk_v of_o nothing_o but_o the_o unspeakable_a pleasure_n of_o self-willed_a impatient_a of_o contradiction_n implacable_a in_o their_o anger_n rude_a and_o imperious_a in_o all_o their_o conversation_n and_o make_v up_o of_o nothing_o but_o pride_n malice_n and_o peevishness_n the_o reason_n be_v obvious_a because_o whilst_o they_o be_v so_o mighty_a warm_a and_o zealous_a in_o the_o duty_n of_o godliness_n and_o so_o exceed_o busy_a in_o the_o instrument_n and_o ministery_n of_o religion_n and_o their_o conscience_n so_o fair_o satisfy_v by_o this_o wonderful_a strictness_n in_o the_o performance_n of_o devotion_n they_o hug_v themselves_o in_o a_o dear_a opinion_n of_o their_o own_o saintship_n and_o rest_v content_a in_o the_o formality_n of_o religion_n they_o be_v never_o concern_v to_o proceed_v to_o the_o habitual_a mortification_n of_o their_o passion_n and_o deprave_a disposition_n which_o be_v neglect_v will_v of_o their_o own_o accord_n grow_v upon_o they_o and_o overrun_v the_o whole_a habit_n of_o their_o mind_n and_o if_o man_n be_v not_o careful_a to_o correct_v and_o subdue_v the_o petulancy_n of_o their_o nature_n it_o thrive_v and_o increase_v under_o their_o neglect_n because_o it_o be_v and_o now_o be_v not_o kingdom_n likely_a to_o be_v brave_o govern_v if_o authority_n must_v indulge_v man_n such_o exorbitant_a and_o pernicious_a vice_n as_o direct_o tend_v to_o the_o disturbance_n of_o all_o society_n because_o their_o well-meaning_a ignorance_n may_v imagine_v they_o to_o be_v symptom_n and_o result_v of_o godly_a zeal_n and_o therefore_o suppose_v all_o that_o pretend_v to_o conscience_n to_o be_v serious_a and_o upright_a in_o their_o pretension_n yet_o that_o be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v any_o argument_n for_o indulgence_n that_o it_o be_v the_o most_o powerful_a dissuasive_a against_o it_o it_o be_v such_o great_a odds_o that_o it_o engage_v they_o to_o be_v troublesome_a to_o government_n and_o this_o be_v the_o plain_a reason_n of_o my_o assertion_n over_o which_o our_o author_n have_v so_o frequent_o and_o so_o ridiculous_o insult_v viz._n 150._o that_o prince_n may_v with_o less_o hazard_n to_o their_o government_n give_v liberty_n to_o man_n vice_n
