as_o ancient_a as_o the_o apostle_n day_n there_o be_v those_o so_o early_o that_o do_v not_o only_o teach_v it_o but_o practise_v upon_o it_o that_o use_v their_o liberty_n for_o a_o cloak_n of_o maliciousness_n and_o turn_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n into_o lasciviousness_n but_o it_o be_v no_o overbold_a say_n that_o if_o this_o can_v be_v real_o prove_v to_o be_v a_o liberty_n of_o christ_n bring_v into_o the_o world_n there_o be_v no_o good_a man_n but_o will_v abhor_v the_o christian_a religion_n but_o the_o antinomian_o not_o to_o make_v worse_o of_o they_o than_o they_o be_v tell_v we_o that_o they_o do_v not_o deny_v the_o obligation_n of_o christian_n to_o the_o performance_n of_o the_o duty_n require_v by_o the_o moral_a law_n but_o it_o be_v only_a love_n gratitude_n and_o to_o embrace_v a_o opinion_n so_o apparent_o destructive_a of_o christianity_n and_o of_o all_o religion_n and_o all_o this_o while_n profess_v themselves_o christian_n and_o the_o only_a christian_n too_o but_o i_o have_v bestow_v too_o much_o time_n in_o the_o confutation_n of_o this_o hateful_a notion_n of_o christian_a liberty_n it_o be_v as_o ridiculous_o silly_a as_o it_o be_v wicked_a and_o it_o be_v as_o evident_a to_o he_o that_o know_v any_o thing_n of_o the_o gospel_n that_o it_o be_v antichristian_a licentiousness_n as_o that_o there_o be_v any_o such_o thing_n as_o christian_a liberty_n poor_a soul_n they_o little_o understand_v what_o liberty_n mean_v who_o be_v able_a to_o talk_v or_o think_v at_o this_o rate_n in_o short_a he_o that_o believe_v that_o true_a christian_n be_v deliver_v by_o the_o suffering_n of_o christ_n from_o the_o curse_n due_a to_o the_o transgressor_n of_o this_o law_n believe_v most_o true_o but_o whosoever_o believe_v they_o be_v deliver_v from_o the_o power_n it_o have_v to_o oblige_v to_o the_o duty_n thereof_o or_o that_o any_o man_n can_v be_v so_o deliver_v think_v most_o wicked_o and_o think_v most_o mad_o chap._n xiii_o a_o second_o false_a notion_n of_o christian_a liberty_n viz._n that_o which_o make_v it_o to_o consist_v in_o freedom_n from_o the_o obligation_n of_o those_o law_n of_o man_n which_o enjoin_v or_o forbid_v indifferent_a thing_n this_o notion_n different_o manage_v by_o the_o defender_n of_o it_o first_o some_o extend_v it_o so_o far_o as_o to_o make_v it_o to_o reach_v to_o all_o humane_a law_n the_o matter_n of_o which_o be_v thing_n indifferent_a second_o other_o limit_v it_o to_o those_o which_o relate_v to_o religion_n and_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n the_o 23._o vers._n of_o the_o 7._o chap._n of_o the_o 1_o epist._n to_o the_o corinthian_n clear_v from_o give_v any_o countenance_n to_o either_o of_o these_o opinion_n the_o former_a of_o they_o confute_v by_o three_o argument_n and_o the_o latter_a by_o four_o under_o the_o second_o of_o which_o several_a text_n of_o scripture_n which_o be_v much_o insist_v upon_o in_o the_o defence_n thereof_o be_v take_v into_o
