may_v not_o make_v it_o the_o end_n of_o your_o prayer_n which_o be_v part_n of_o your_o labour_n and_o duty_n and_o indeed_o according_a to_o the_o opinion_n which_o i_o oppose_v it_o must_v needs_o follow_v that_o petition_n be_v to_o be_v lay_v aside_o and_o no_o part_n of_o prayer_n lawful_a but_o praise_n and_o thanksgiving_n 4._o do_v you_o not_o forget_v to_o make_v a_o difference_n you_o to_o what_o end_n god_n implant_v such_o affection_n and_o power_n in_o your_o soul._n why_o do_v he_o create_v in_o you_o a_o power_n and_o propensity_n to_o intend_v the_o ultimate_a end_n in_o all_o your_o endeavour_n to_o value_v that_o end_n to_o love_v it_o desire_v it_o study_n and_o care_n how_o to_o obtain_v it_o to_o fear_v the_o loss_n of_o it_o and_o to_o loathe_v all_o that_o resist_v your_o fruition_n to_o seek_v and_o labour_v after_o its_o enjoyment_n why_o be_v the_o love_n of_o ourselves_o and_o desire_v of_o our_o preservation_n so_o natural_a sure_o it_o be_v lawful_a for_o you_o to_o care_n and_o desire_n and_o labour_n for_o god_n in_o heaven_n or_o for_o nothing_o and_o it_o be_v our_o duty_n to_o fear_v the_o loss_n of_o this_o or_o to_o fear_v no_o evil_a at_o all_o and_o i_o can_v hardly_o think_v that_o god_n will_v create_v such_o power_n in_o the_o soul_n which_o shall_v be_v utter_o useless_a then_o let_v we_o no_o more_o cry_v down_o the_o abuse_n of_o our_o affection_n and_o power_n but_o the_o use_n of_o they_o and_o so_o turn_v worse_o than_o stoic_n this_o be_v such_o a_o make_v god_n the_o author_n of_o sin_n as_o few_o man_n
