be_v that_o which_o stand_v in_o the_o view_n and_o consideration_n of_o every_o particular_a action_n to_o search_v whether_o it_o be_v good_a or_o bad_a the_o first_o be_v call_v the_o theorical_a the_o second_o the_o practical_a understanding_n and_o under_o this_o latter_a be_v conscience_n to_o be_v comprehend_v because_o his_o property_n be_v to_o judge_v of_o the_o goodness_n or_o badness_n of_o thing_n or_o action_n do_v again_o i_o say_v that_o conscience_n be_v a_o action_n part_n of_o the_o mind_n or_o understanding_n to_o show_v that_o conscience_n be_v not_o a_o bare_a knowledge_n or_o judgement_n of_o the_o understanding_n as_o etc._n man_n common_o write_v but_o a_o natural_a power_n faculty_n or_o create_v quality_n from_o whence_o knowledge_n and_o judgement_n proceed_v as_o effect_n this_o the_o scripture_n confirm_v in_o that_o they_o ascribe_v sundry_a work_n and_o action_n to_o conscience_n as_o accuse_v excuse_v comfort_v terrify_v which_o action_n
