hold_v in_o the_o dwell_a house_n of_o a_o peer_n though_o he_o be_v resident_a in_o it_o and_o such_o peer_n incur_v the_o penalty_n of_o this_o act_n as_o owner_n of_o the_o house_n permit_v the_o for_o the_o prevention_n and_o suppress_v whereof_o there_o be_v no_o better_a mean_n than_o the_o execution_n of_o this_o act_n which_o as_o this_o clause_n be_v ought_v to_o have_v the_o large_a and_o most_o beneficial_a construction_n imaginable_a i._n e._n such_o a_o equitable_a construction_n although_o it_o be_v a_o penal_a law_n as_o may_v best_o conduce_v to_o the_o suppression_n of_o such_o conventicle_n though_o perhaps_o the_o thing_n be_v not_o express_o within_o the_o letter_n of_o the_o law_n yet_o it_o ought_v to_o be_v construe_v within_o the_o intent_n as_o for_o prohibit_v by_o this_o statute_n which_o be_v a_o offence_n at_o the_o common_a law_n i_o say_v he_o may_v be_v prosecute_v as_o at_o common_a law_n if_o he_o have_v be_v actual_o punish_v for_o the_o very_a same_o offence_n by_o virtue_n of_o this_o law_n but_o if_o he_o have_v be_v once_o punish_v by_o this_o law_n if_o sue_v as_o at_o common_a law_n or_o on_o another_o statute_n he_o may_v
