they_o whilst_o they_o be_v at_o home_n in_o the_o father_n house_n will_v be_v apt_a to_o minister_v some_o occasion_n of_o jar_n beside_o the_o equality_n that_o be_v among_o they_o in_o respect_n of_o birth_n often_o make_v they_o inclinable_a to_o envy_v each_o other_o when_o one_o be_v in_o any_o respect_n advance_v above_o the_o other_o thus_o we_o see_v joseph_n brethren_n envy_v he_o because_o he_o have_v most_o of_o his_o father_n love_n and_o rachel_n envy_v her_o sister_n leah_n because_o she_o be_v fruitful_a therefore_o for_o the_o prevent_n of_o such_o temptation_n let_v all_o who_o have_v brethren_n and_o sister_n possess_v their_o mind_n with_o a_o great_a and_o real_a kindness_n to_o they_o look_v on_o they_o as_o part_n of_o themselves_o and_o then_o they_o will_v child_n to_o she_o must_v have_v also_o the_o relation_n of_o brethren_n to_o each_o other_o and_o to_o this_o sort_n of_o brethren_n also_o we_o owe_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o tenderness_n and_o affection_n the_o spiritual_a bond_n of_o religion_n shall_v of_o all_o other_o the_o most_o close_o unite_v our_o heart_n this_o be_v the_o brotherhood_n which_o st._n peter_n exhort_v we_o to_o enemy_n it_o may_v consist_v with_o malice_n to_o other_o it_o be_v possible_a for_o a_o man_n that_o bitter_o hate_v one_o to_o love_v another_o but_o we_o be_v to_o take_v notice_n that_o this_o charity_n must_v not_o be_v so_o confine_v but_o must_v extend_v and_o stretch_v itself_o to_o all_o man_n in_o the_o world_n particular_o to_o enemy_n or_o else_o it_o be_v not_o that_o divine_a charity_n commend_v to_o we_o by_o christ._n the_o love_a of_o friend_n and_o benefactor_n be_v so_o low_a a_o pitch_n that_o the_o very_a publican_n and_o sinner_n the_o worst_a of_o man_n be_v able_a to_o attain_v to_o it_o mat._n 5._o 46_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o count_v rewardable_a in_o a_o disciple_n of_o christ_n no_o he_o expect_v we_o shall_v soar_v high_o and_o therefore_o have_v set_v we_o this_o more_o spiritual_a and_o excellent_a precept_n of_o love_v of_o enemy_n mat._n 5._o 44._o i_o say_v unto_o you_o love_v your_o enemy_n bless_v they_o that_o curse_v you_o and_o pray_v for_o they_o which_o despiteful_o use_v you_o and_o persecute_v you_o and_o whoever_o do_v not_o thus_o will_v never_o be_v own_v by_o he_o for_o a_o disciple_n we_o be_v therefore_o to_o he_o 32._o a_o three_o duty_n of_o the_o master_n be_v to_o set_v good_a example_n of_o honesty_n and_o godliness_n to_o his_o servant_n example_n without_o which_o it_o be_v not_o all_o the_o exhortation_n or_o reproof_n he_o can_v use_v will_v ever_o do_v good_a for_o else_o he_o pull_v down_o more_o with_o his_o example_n then_o it_o be_v possible_a for_o he_o to_o build_v with_o the_o good_a wish_n and_o therefore_o if_o we_o do_v not_o thus_o love_v one_o another_o we_o be_v far_o from_o obey_v that_o command_n of_o love_a as_o he_o have_v love_v for_o it_o be_v the_o soul_n of_o man_n which_o he_o love_v so_o tender_o and_o both_o do_v and_o suffer_v so_o much_o for_o of_o this_o love_n of_o he_o to_o soul_n there_o be_v two_o great_a and_o special_a effect_n the_o first_o that_o reason_n which_o you_o exercise_v in_o all_o your_o worldly_a business_n and_o shall_v the_o soul_n itself_o receive_v nâ—_n benefit_n from_o that_o reason_n which_o it_o afford_v you_o this_o be_v aâ—_n if_o the_o master_n of_o a_o family_n who_o provide_v food_n for_o his_o servant_n shall_v by_o they_o be_v keep_v from_o eat_v any_o himself_o and_o so_o remain_v the_o only_o starve_a creature_n in_o his_o house_n 28._o and_o as_o justice_n tie_v you_o to_o this_o so_o mercy_n do_v likewise_o you_o know_v the_o poor_a soul_n will_v fall_v into_o endless_a and_o unspeakable_a misery_n if_o you_o continue_v to_o neglect_v it_o and_o theâ—_n it_o will_v be_v too_o lâ—te_a to_o consider_v it_o the_o last_o refuge_n you_o caâ—_n hope_v for_o be_v god_n mercy_n but_o that_o nay_o indeed_o how_o few_o there_o be_v that_o do_v conscionable_a perform_v this_o duty_n be_v too_o apparent_a by_o the_o strange_a rudeness_n and_o ignorance_n that_o be_v general_o among_o youth_n the_o child_n of_o those_o who_o call_v themselves_o christian_n be_v frequent_o as_o ignorant_a of_o god_n and_o christ_n as_o the_o mere_a heathen_n but_o whoever_o they_o be_v that_o thus_o
