that_o the_o charge_n of_o subjection_n be_v to_o all_o wife_n indifferent_o no_o difference_n of_o age_n state_n nation_n degree_n or_o the_o like_a can_v make_v any_o difference_n in_o the_o or_o never_o sound_o turn_v from_o the_o love_n of_o the_o world_n or_o can_v not_o forsake_v particular_a belove_a sin_n or_o be_v never_o thorough_o persuade_v to_o forsake_v carnal_a dependency_n or_o do_v not_o think_v of_o hire_v themselves_o to_o do_v the_o work_n of_o godliness_n for_o ever_o or_o have_v no_o hearty_a love_n to_o such_o as_o fear_v god_n or_o the_o like_a the_o consideration_n hereof_o shall_v awaken_v all_o sort_n especial_o such_o as_o new_o enter_v into_o the_o profession_n of_o religion_n to_o look_v to_o themselves_o and_o try_v their_o estate_n fond_o sure_a to_o place_v their_o great_a care_n in_o learning_n how_o to_o discharge_v their_o own_o duty_n to_o other_o and_o not_o allow_v themselves_o liberty_n to_o suspect_v or_o censure_v the_o way_n of_o other_o with_o who_o they_o converse_v such_o wife_n as_o be_v so_o diligent_a to_o study_v their_o husband_n duty_n and_o to_o find_v fault_n with_o they_o in_o their_o calling_n seldom_o or_o never_o live_v quiet_o with_o their_o husband_n whereas_o the_o apostle_n here_o will_v have_v such_o wife_n as_o have_v ill_a husband_n to_o lay_v the_o ground_n of_o a_o quiet_a life_n in_o the_o care_n of_o sound_a discharge_n of_o their_o own_o duty_n to_o their_o husband_n 3._o they_o must_v hearty_o repent_v for_o their_o fault_n of_o unquietness_n and_o frowardness_n past_a and_o not_o only_o humble_v their_o soul_n in_o secret_a before_o god_n for_o such_o sin_n but_o also_o show_v their_o repentance_n to_o those_o with_o who_o they_o converse_v by_o a_o humble_a acknowledgement_n of_o their_o vile_a nature_n and_o froward_a behaviour_n even_o in_o the_o particular_n of_o it_o repentance_n for_o know_a trespass_n can_v never_o be_v sound_n if_o it_o be_v secret_a and_o not_o make_v know_v to_o the_o party_n grieve_v 4._o it_o will_v wonderful_o help_v they_o if_o they_o pray_v constant_o to_o the_o lord_n jesus_n that_o leave_v such_o a_o pattern_n of_o meekness_n and_o to_o entreat_v he_o by_o influence_n of_o his_o grace_n to_o quiet_a and_o sweeten_v their_o nature_n beseech_v the_o lord_n jesus_n even_o by_o his_o meekness_n to_o make_v we_o meek_a and_o able_a to_o express_v his_o virtue_n in_o a_o quiet_a conversation_n 5._o they_o must_v not_o give_v place_n to_o wrath_n but_o if_o they_o perceive_v their_o heart_n rise_v and_o incline_v to_o passion_n indefinite_a require_v of_o meekness_n that_o christian_n and_o in_o particular_a christian_n wife_n must_v exercise_v meekness_n and_o quietness_n towards_o all_o person_n and_o at_o all_o time_n and_o in_o all_o place_n in_o all_o place_n i_o say_v and_o so_o both_o at_o home_n and_o abroad_o towards_o all_o person_n and_o so_o they_o must_v carry_v themselves_o quiet_o not_o only_o towards_o their_o husband_n but_o towards_o their_o servant_n and_o their_o neighbour_n whether_o they_o be_v poor_a or_o rich_a and_o at_o all_o time_n they_o must_v not_o be_v young_a saint_n and_o old_a devil_n as_o the_o proverb_n be_v that_o be_v of_o a_o soft_a and_o gentle_a behaviour_n at_o first_o and_o then_o grow_v froward_a afterward_o age_n and_o infirmity_n be_v not_o sufficient_a excuse_n for_o vicious_a anger_n and_o unquietness_n beside_o in_o that_o the_o apostle_n resemble_v meekness_n to_o apparel_n it_o import_v that_o by_o nature_n we_o be_v bear_v without_o it_o our_o soul_n they_o handsome_o so_o must_v we_o use_v discretion_n in_o the_o put_n on_o of_o meekness_n and_o quietness_n fit_v the_o virtue_n to_o the_o reason_n and_o occasion_n of_o the_o day_n thus_o of_o the_o second_o part_n of_o this_o verse_n the_o three_o and_o last_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o woman_n shall_v be_v so_o careful_a of_o this_o kind_n of_o dress_v and_o apparel_n and_o that_o be_v
