fundamental_a we_o do_v therefore_o humble_o and_o earnest_o desire_v that_o in_o order_n to_o these_o end_n we_o may_v be_v suffer_v to_o act_v as_o presbyter_n in_o this_o church_n in_o our_o several_a precinct_n and_o paroch_n this_o be_v propose_v to_o the_o episcopal_a clergy_n several_a argument_n be_v use_v to_o persuade_v the_o subscribe_v it_o which_o some_o decline_a fo●_n one_o reason_n and_o some_o for_o another_o some_o guess_v the_o success_n from_o the_o presbyterian_a temper_n think_v it_o will_v be_v a_o prostitute_v their_o reputation_n to_o offer_v a_o thing_n inspection_n of_o this_o commission_n they_o do_v also_o find_v that_o not_o only_o these_o petitioner_n do_v not_o look_v upon_o this_o commission_n as_o a_o judicatory_a of_o this_o church_n but_o also_o do_v mistake_v their_o work_n by_o ascribe_v to_o they_o a_o power_n to_o establish_v the_o judicatories_n of_o this_o church_n which_o be_v not_o commit_v to_o they_o by_o the_o general_n assembly_n and_o though_o the_o commission_n be_v satisfy_v to_o hear_v of_o their_o zeal_n against_o popery_n and_o firmness_n in_o the_o protestant_a religion_n duty_n and_o fidelity_n to_o their_o majesty_n yet_o they_o find_v that_o see_v the_o petitioner_n have_v not_o offer_v to_o own_o and_o subscribe_v the_o confession_n of_o faith_n which_o by_o law_n be_v make_v the_o standard_n of_o
