it_o stand_v not_o firm_a together_o or_o by_o their_o stand_n weaken_v one_o another_o therefore_o we_o must_v needs_o conclude_v that_o if_o there_o be_v no_o amiable_a correspondency_n seek_v but_o a_o manifest_a division_n maintain_v between_o these_o two_o that_o our_o public_a disease_n will_v become_v absolute_o incurable_a and_o that_o this_o symptom_n thereof_o will_v be_v fatal_a to_o this_o state_n for_o except_v a_o cure_n can_v be_v find_v unto_o this_o breach_n how_o can_v there_o be_v any_o true_a heal_n of_o other_o breach_n or_o prevention_n of_o future_a calamity_n hope_v for_o will_v not_o from_o hence_o inevitable_o follow_v a_o perpetual_a increase_n of_o animosity_n and_o offence_n on_o all_o side_n and_o from_o thence_o a_o endless_a sequel_n of_o judgement_n and_o will_v not_o god_n destroy_v all_o those_o that_o be_v accessary_a to_o the_o cause_n of_o such_o evil_n except_o they_o prevent_v he_o by_o repentance_n therefore_o to_o complete_a the_o application_n of_o the_o forename_a remedy_n which_o we_o have_v find_v to_o be_v specifical_a to_o our_o disease_n nothing_o can_v be_v think_v upon_o more_o useful_a nor_o so_o necessary_a than_o to_o work_v out_o and_o procure_v this_o correspondency_n for_o as_o without_o the_o concurrence_n of_o these_o two_o hand_n there_o can_v be_v no_o settlement_n or_o advancement_n of_o any_o public_a undertake_n so_o with_o their_o joint_a strength_n and_o cooperation_n in_o this_o way_n of_o god_n we_o may_v confident_o hope_v that_o the_o work_n of_o our_o reformation_n may_v be_v speedy_a safe_a full_a and_o permanent_a let_v i_o therefore_o as_o one_o touch_v with_o the_o sense_n of_o this_o necessary_a duty_n discharge_v my_o conscience_n in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n three_o point_n to_o be_v speak_v to_o about_o it_o i_o shall_v not_o stretch_v myself_o beyond_o my_o line_n either_o in_o respect_n of_o superior_a power_n or_o of_o my_o brethren_n in_o the_o ministry_n but_o with_o all_o tenderness_n faithfulness_n and_o humility_n of_o spirit_n i_o shall_v apply_v myself_o unto_o they_o both_o joint_o and_o as_o brief_o as_o may_v be_v in_o so_o weighty_a matter_n and_o for_o a_o close_a to_o this_o discourse_n i_o shall_v represent_v unto_o the_o one_o and_o the_o other_o indifferent_o three_o thing_n 1._o what_o the_o conscionable_a inducement_n be_v which_o shall_v equal_o move_v both_o magistrate_n and_o minister_n unto_o a_o friendly_a correspondency_n in_o the_o discharge_n of_o their_o public_a duty_n 2._o what_o the_o mean_n and_o way_n be_v by_o which_o this_o correspondency_n both_o may_v and_o aught_o to_o be_v entertain_v 3._o how_o the_o obstacle_n which_o stand_v in_o the_o way_n thereof_o shall_v be_v remove_v of_o the_o first_o concern_v the_o motive_n oblige_v magistrate_n and_o minister_n to_o correspond_v in_o their_o charge_n if_o conscience_n shall_v be_v reflect_v upon_o and_o consult_v withal_o in_o respect_n of_o of_o the_o city_n of_o god_n from_o all_o wickedness_n and_o the_o strengthen_n of_o each_o other_o hand_n in_o go_v about_o that_o work_n both_o which_o thing_n they_o be_v equal_o oblige_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n to_o intend_v if_o therefore_o any_o weak_a voice_n can_v reach_v unto_o they_o both_o at_o once_o i_o will_v with_o due_a respect_n say_v thus_o if_o either_o of_o you_o do_v mind_n the_o great_a lord_n and_o master_n under_o who_o you_o stand_v as_o moses_n and_o aaron_n do_v if_o to_o he_o you_o judge_v yourselves_o to_o be_v fellow-servant_n equal_o accountable_a as_o well_o of_o your_o mutual_a willingness_n to_o concur_v in_o his_o service_n as_o of_o any_o other_o duty_n if_o you_o think_v the_o profession_n of_o christianity_n a_o business_n worth_a the_o own_n and_o a_o work_n incumbent_n to_o your_o charge_n that_o you_o shall_v uphold_v and_o advance_v it_o as_o well_o joint_o as_o several_o if_o the_o well_o be_v of_o the_o city_n of_o god_n and_o of_o the_o commonwealth_n of_o israel_n be_v at_o all_o a_o design_n to_o be_v think_v upon_o by_o you_o and_o if_o you_o can_v rational_o conceive_v that_o your_o amiable_a concurrence_n will_v be_v
