they_o it_o may_v be_v hardly_o both_o understand_v that_o sacrament_n be_v necessary_a and_o that_o the_o manner_n of_o their_o necessity_n to_o life_n supernatural_a be_v not_o in_o all_o respect_n as_o meat_n drink_z and_o such_o like_a unto_o natural_a life_n because_o they_o contain_v in_o themselves_o no_o vital_a force_n or_o efficacy_n but_o they_o be_v duty_n of_o service_n and_o worship_n which_o unless_o we_o perform_v as_o the_o author_n of_o grace_n require_v they_o be_v unprofitable_a for_o all_o receive_v not_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n which_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n of_o his_o grace_n neither_o be_v it_o ordinary_o his_o will_n to_o bestow_v the_o grace_n of_o sacrament_n upon_o any_o but_o by_o the_o sacrament_n which_o grace_n also_o they_o that_o receive_v by_o sacrament_n 3._o or_o with_o sacrament_n receive_v it_o from_o he_o and_o not_o from_o they_o for_o as_o hugo_n say_v these_o do_v not_o give_v that_o which_o be_v give_v by_o these_o and_o yet_o ordinary_o as_o necessary_a to_o receive_v these_o as_o those_o grace_n be_v necessary_a which_o we_o receive_v by_o these_o so_o that_o baptism_n though_o it_o be_v not_o a_o cause_n of_o grace_n yet_o the_o grace_n which_o be_v give_v by_o baptism_n do_v so_o far_o depend_v upon_o the_o very_a outward_a sacrament_n as_o that_o god_n will_v have_v it_o embrace_v as_o a_o necessary_a mean_n whereby_o we_o receive_v the_o same_o and_o howsoever_o we_o dare_v not_o judge_v those_o that_o in_o in_o some_o case_n do_v want_v it_o for_o the_o want_n of_o it_o yet_o we_o may_v bold_o gather_v that_o he_o who_o mercy_n now_o vouchsafe_v to_o bestow_v the_o mean_n have_v also_o long_o since_o intend_v we_o that_o whereunto_o they_o lead_v so_o that_o we_o think_v in_o this_o discourse_n of_o you_o concern_v private_a &_o the_o necessity_n of_o baptism_n that_o some_o thing_n be_v misunderstand_v some_o thing_n misconstrue_v and_o some_o thing_n false_a misunderstand_v where_o you_o make_v this_o to_o be_v the_o opinion_n of_o our_o church_n that_o all_o who_o be_v baptize_v must_v necessary_o be_v save_v or_o of_o the_o contrary_a whereas_o it_o be_v but_o understand_v as_o either_o man_n have_v evidence_n leave_v to_o direct_v his_o judgement_n or_o the_o church_n have_v power_n to_o admit_v into_o the_o house_n of_o god._n and_o for_o other_o who_o want_v this_o sacrament_n although_o we_o can_v judge_v of_o the_o secret_a election_n of_o god_n yet_o we_o have_v reason_n to_o fear_v a_o denial_n of_o that_o grace_n 5._o where_o we_o see_v a_o manifestation_n of_o the_o want_n of_o the_o mean_n appoint_v for_o the_o obtain_n of_o it_o for_o doubtless_o as_o one_o note_v the_o sacrament_n of_o baptism_n in_o respect_n of_o god_n the_o author_n of_o the_o institution_n may_v admit_v dispensation_n but_o in_o regard_n of_o we_o who_o be_v tie_v to_o obey_v there_o be_v a_o absolute_a necessity_n for_o it_o be_v in_o the_o power_n of_o god_n without_o these_o to_o save_v but_o it_o be_v not_o in_o the_o power_n of_o man_n without_o these_o to_o come_v to_o salvation_n and_o yet_o our_o church_n hold_v constant_o and_o true_o notwithstanding_o your_o doubt_n as_o well_o touch_v other_o believer_n as_o martyr_n that_o baptism_n take_v away_o by_o ne●necessity_n take_v not_o away_o the_o necessity_n of_o baptism_n but_o be_v supply_v by_o the_o desire_n thereof_o for_o as_o the_o visible_a sign_n may_v be_v without_o true_a holiness_n so_o the_o invisible_a sanctification_n say_v saint_n austin_n may_v sometime_o be_v without_o the_o visible_a sign_n 69._o and_o yet_o these_o be_v no_o reason_n either_o to_o debar_v the_o church_n from_o impose_v private_a baptism_n upon_o great_a peril_n from_o this_o
