and_o toss_v conceit_n up_o and_o down_o almost_o continual_o now_o all_o man_n by_o nature_n be_v so_o taint_v with_o the_o sickness_n of_o vanity_n that_o their_o mind_n will_v run_v willing_o after_o nothing_o else_o but_o that_o which_o vanity_n beget_v and_o for_o this_o cause_n man_n have_v take_v up_o a_o proverb_n to_o dazzle_v their_o eye_n if_o it_o may_v be_v that_o this_o may_v not_o seem_v a_o ●●u●●_n they_o say_v tha●_n thought_n be_v free_a a●_n though_o one_o shall_v never_o answer_v for_o idle_a thought_n and_o it_o be_v the_o common_a excuse_n of_o man_n to_o say_v they_o think_v no_o harm_n as_o though_o it_o be_v enough_o to_o hatch_v no_o mischievous_a and_o harmful_a conceit_n notwithstanding_o they_o do_v exceed_v in_o idle_a and_o unprofitable_a imagination_n whereby_o it_o may_v be_v see_v that_o man_n be_v so_o far_o from_o reform_v this_o fault_n and_o avoid_v this_o thief_n that_o they_o will_v not_o take_v it_o for_o a_o fault_n nor_o esteem_v it_o as_o a_o thief_n of_o time_n but_o this_o swallow_v up_o most_o of_o our_o solitary_a hour_n when_o man_n be_v in_o bed_n or_o alone_o in_o the_o night_n season_n and_o can_v sleep_v or_o when_o they_o be_v journey_v and_o walk_v without_o company_n they_o can_v then_o possible_o talk_v with_o other_o when_o no_o man_n be_v present_a yet_o their_o mind_n do_v busy_a it_o s●lf_o in_o idle_a talk_n with_o itself_o cast_v a_o thousand_o fond_a thing_n before_o one_o eye_n as_o wha●_n if_o this_o shall_v be_v or_o what_o if_o that_o shall_v come_v to_o pass_v and_o much_o ado_n windy_a heart_n be_v no_o less_o burdensome_a that_o a_o windy_a stomach_n this_o cast_v out_o the_o cogitation_n of_o god_n benefit_n that_o one_o may_v not_o be_v thankful_a for_o they_o it_o shoulder_n away_o the_o thought_n of_o one_o own_o sin_n that_o he_o may_v not_o renew_v his_o godly_a sorrow_n and_o repentance_n for_o they_o it_o justle_v out_o the_o consideration_n of_o god_n grace_n that_o we_o can_v set_v our_o affection_n on_o fire_n to_o long_o and_o labour_v after_o they_o and_o in_o all_o th●se_a respect_n it_o take_v away_o the_o benefit_n of_o much_o good_a opportunity_n for_o every_o time_n a_o man_n be_v alone_o separate_v from_o all_o company_n and_o outward_a business_n there_o be_v a_o excellent_a occasion_n of_o further_a his_o own_o soul_n offer_v unto_o he_o if_o any_o thing_n grieve_v he_o he_o may_v free_o disburden_v his_o heart_n into_o god_n bosom_n if_o he_o fault_v any_o way_n he_o may_v have_v full_a and_o free_a scope_n to_o confess_v and_o bewail_v it_o if_o he_o want_v any_o good_a thing_n there_o be_v l●isure_n and_o place_n in_o as_o effectual_a manner_n and_o with_o as_o many_o word_n as_o one_o can_v to_o beg_v it_o of_o the_o lord_n thus_o great_a riches_n may_v come_v to_o the_o soul_n by_o a_o well_o spend_v solitariness_n but_o vain_a cogitation_n do_v deprive_v a_o man_n of_o all_o this_o and_o do_v so_o blow_v up_o the_o mind_n with_o that_o which_o be_v nothing_o as_o it_o grow_v swell_v like_o the_o flesh_n of_o he_o which_o have_v the_o dropsy_n so_o that_o it_o may_v well_o be_v call_v the_o dropsy_n of_o the_o mind_n now_o for_o a_o help_n against_o this_o vanity_n of_o the_o mind_n break_v forth_o in_o idle_a thought_n and_o fancy_n first_o we_o must_v take_v the_o counsel_n of_o solomon_n to_o keep_v the_o heart_n with_o all_o diligence_n the_o heart_n be_v that_o which_o must_v be_v narrow_o look_v unto_o that_o evil_a and_o unprofitable_a thought_n rise_v not_o up_o in_o it_o here_o must_v be_v the_o special_a care_n to_o prevent_v first_o breed_v and_o engender_v of_o sin_n in_o the_o most_o inward_a part_n this_o thief_n will_v be_v still_o filch_v and_o steal_v time_n continual_o do_v what_o one_o can_v wherefore_o a_o watchful_a and_o wary_a eye_n must_v be_v have_v thereunto_o and_o a_o diligent_a guard_n must_v be_v set_v before_o the_o heart_n to_o keep_v out_o
