make_v void_a god_n precept_n through_o his_o tradition_n nevertheless_o whereas_o i_o be_o persuade_v that_o there_o be_v no_o man_n but_o so_o far_o as_o he_o do_v his_o duty_n it_o shall_v tend_v to_o his_o good_a which_o as_o i_o know_v may_v otherways_o accrue_v to_o he_o though_o it_o do_v not_o convert_v he_o so_o do_v i_o think_v that_o ordinary_o while_o man_n wait_v upon_o god_n in_o their_o duty_n of_o piety_n and_o charity_n though_o they_o be_v no_o cause_n yet_o be_v they_o the_o way_n wherein_o god_n do_v meet_v they_o with_o his_o effectual_a grace_n not_o through_o any_o special_a promise_n for_o there_o be_v no_o such_o we_o hold_v to_o any_o work_n before_o faith_n but_o some_o general_a offer_n and_o through_o the_o goodness_n of_o his_o nature_n the_o cause_n and_o ground_n of_o all_o those_o promise_n which_o be_v therefore_o a_o firm_a rock_n to_o build_v upon_o a_o point_n i_o think_v very_o fit_a to_o be_v consider_v i_o have_v think_v good_a to_o deliver_v my_o opinion_n that_o i_o deny_v not_o through_o jesus_n christ_n but_o a_o poor_a sinner_n who_o examine_v himself_o and_o so_o come_v to_o he_o in_o the_o sight_n his_o condition_n may_v find_v this_o ordinance_n a_o effectual_a mean_n to_o beget_v grace_n in_o he_o as_o well_o as_o increase_v it_o i_o must_v confess_v i_o be_o hearty_o sorry_a to_o see_v what_o prejudice_n or_o it_o be_v my_o weakness_n so_o to_o think_v have_v get_v on_o the_o spirit_n of_o many_o godly_a man_n mere_o upon_o the_o term_n of_o a_o seal_a ordinance_n a_o ordinance_n for_o nourishment_n confirmation_n and_o the_o like_a which_o term_n do_v indeed_o respect_v the_o visible_a church_n or_o our_o incorporation_n in_o it_o and_o so_o make_v for_o we_o i_o shall_v therefore_o now_o return_v my_o answer_n in_o this_o manner_n when_o jesus_n christ_n ascend_v to_o heaven_n he_o leave_v order_n to_o procure_v he_o a_o church_n to_o this_o end_n he_o appoint_v a_o ministry_n of_o this_o body_n or_o church_n be_v either_o visible_a or_o invisible_a the_o invisible_a consist_v only_o of_o the_o regenerate_a and_o the_o elect_n the_o visible_a consist_v of_o all_o that_o be_v
