your_o lordship_n say_v that_o according_a to_o the_o first_o article_n of_o that_o treaty_n the_o covenant_n shall_v have_v be_v take_v by_o both_o kingdom_n but_o that_o now_o by_o the_o prevalent_a party_n of_o sectary_n and_o their_o adherent_n it_o be_v not_o only_o lay_v aside_o in_o the_o new_a proposition_n and_o no_o execution_n of_o public_a order_n for_o take_v it_o throughout_o the_o country_n but_o many_o in_o place_n of_o trust_n have_v never_o take_v it_o neither_o be_v urge_v to_o take_v it_o certain_o such_o slight_n of_o the_o covenant_n be_v a_o great_a sin_n against_o god_n and_o a_o high_a contempt_n of_o the_o covenant_n and_o it_o be_v very_o fit_a that_o this_o kingdom_n shall_v desire_v the_o parliament_n of_o england_n to_o press_v it_o not_o only_o upon_o person_n of_o trust_n but_o universal_o on_o all_o the_o subject_n of_o that_o kingdom_n yet_o we_o be_v not_o convince_v of_o any_o just_a ground_n of_o war_n against_o that_o kingdom_n in_o that_o which_o have_v be_v instance_v by_o your_o lordship_n especial_o consider_v that_o the_o covenant_n be_v take_v by_o the_o representative_n and_o other_o chief_a corporation_n in_o england_n whereupon_o both_o the_o general_n assembly_n and_o the_o parliament_n of_o this_o kingdom_n have_v frequent_o mention_v in_o their_o act_n letter_n and_o declaration_n the_o union_n and_o conjunction_n of_o both_o kingdom_n by_o solemn_a covenant_n neither_o be_v we_o without_o hope_n if_o thing_n be_v carry_v on_o in_o a_o fair_a and_o right_a way_n that_o the_o kingdom_n of_o england_n may_v be_v bring_v a_o further_a length_n in_o the_o performance_n of_o this_o duty_n whereof_o we_o be_v the_o more_o confident_a because_o of_o the_o famous_a and_o frequent_a testimony_n give_v to_o the_o covenant_n and_o against_o the_o error_n of_o the_o time_n by_o the_o ministry_n in_o diverse_a province_n in_o england_n as_o for_o the_o last_o breach_n which_o your_o lordship_n conceive_v to_o be_v against_o the_o eight_o article_n of_o the_o same_o treaty_n 1643._o we_o hearty_o wish_v that_o the_o joint_a way_n of_o application_n to_o the_o king_n by_o both_o kingdom_n once_o begin_v have_v be_v continue_v and_o do_v conceive_v very_o much_o prejudice_n to_o the_o cause_n by_o the_o divide_a way_n only_o we_o offer_v it_o to_o your_o lordship_n further_a consideration_n whither_o this_o breach_n be_v not_o at_o least_o disputable_a there_o be_v no_o mention_n at_o all_o in_o that_o article_n of_o proposal_n proposition_n or_o bill_n but_o only_o of_o cessation_n pacification_n and_o agreement_n for_o peace_n so_o that_o it_o may_v just_o be_v doubt_v whether_o the_o send_n of_o those_o proposal_n and_o bill_n to_o the_o king_n without_o the_o consent_n of_o this_o kingdom_n have_v in_o it_o that_o certainty_n and_o clearness_n of_o a_o breach_n of_o treaty_n between_o the_o kingdom_n as_o may_v be_v a_o ground_n of_o war_n and_o if_o it_o
