he_o pay_v it_o not_o within_o six_o day_n after_o conviction_n by_o witness_n confession_n or_o otherwise_o he_o shall_v suffer_v 20_o day_n imprisonment_n and_o during_o that_o time_n shall_v have_v martin_n le_fw-fr grand_fw-fr london_n xv._o if_o the_o warden_n with_o a_o stranger_n or_o the_o officer_n of_o corporation_n or_o other_o town_n refuse_v to_o mark_v a_o stranger_n ware_n be_v stranger_n that_o be_v a_o joiner_n or_o glazier_n to_o work_v for_o he_o this_o act_n notwithstanding_o xviii_o stat._n 21_o h._n 16._o a_o decree_n make_v in_o the_o star-chamber_n the_o 20_o of_o february_n 20_o h._n 8._o concern_v artificer_n stranger_n be_v confirm_v the_o substance_n of_o which_o decree_n hereafter_o follow_v xix_o a_o strange_a artificer_n shall_v not_o keep_v in_o his_o house_n at_o one_o time_n above_o two_o stranger_n servant_n howbeit_o a_o subject_a artificer_n may_v retain_v as_o many_o stranger_n as_o he_o please_v to_o be_v his_o servant_n or_o apprentice_n xx._n stranger_n artificer_n may_v take_v as_o many_o englishman_n to_o be_v their_o servant_n or_o apprentice_n as_o they_o can_v get_v xxi_o stranger_n artificer_n shall_v be_v contributory_a with_o english_a artificer_n and_o in_o case_n they_o refuse_v they_o shall_v not_o only_o lose_v the_o benefit_n of_o this_o decree_n but_o likewise_o be_v prohibit_v to_o exercise_v their_o craft_n in_o same_o company_n to_o make_v search_n which_o if_o they_o refuse_v and_o that_o prove_v before_o the_o chancellor_n of_o england_n or_o mayor_n of_o london_n or_o in_o other_o place_n before_o the_o chief_a officer_n they_o shall_v no_o long_o exercise_v their_o profession_n in_o england_n in_o pain_n of_o the_o forfeiture_n aforesaid_a xxiii_o stranger_n artificer_n shall_v upon_o lawful_a notice_n make_v oath_n to_o be_v true_a to_o the_o king_n and_o obedient_a to_o his_o law_n and_o to_o make_v due_a search_n with_o other_o and_o not_o to_o discover_v to_o any_o beforehand_o the_o
