as_o a_o mean_n to_o serve_v his_o turn_n and_o so_o far_o he_o can_v but_o be_v desire_v of_o a_o man_n what_o man_n be_v there_o as_o you_o shall_v hear_v by_o and_o by_o that_o will_v take_v delight_n in_o physic_n for_o itself_o or_o that_o do_v not_o count_v it_o a_o misery_n to_o be_v always_o in_o physic_n though_o it_o be_v a_o mean_n to_o preserve_v his_o health_n salvation_n be_v often_o time_n there_o be_v because_o jesus_n christ_n provide_v for_o his_o own_o entertainment_n as_o soon_o as_o ever_o the_o door_n be_v open_a that_o be_v that_o the_o heart_n be_v sensible_a of_o sin_n jesus_n christ_n do_v come_v in_o with_o all_o his_o furniture_n make_v it_o a_o habitation_n for_o himself_o if_o a_o man_n will_v stay_v from_o jesus_n christ_n for_o want_n of_o one_o degree_n of_o grace_n more_o than_o he_o have_v there_o be_v the_o same_o reason_n he_o shall_v stay_v for_o all_o degree_n of_o grace_n for_o all_o degree_n of_o grace_n be_v little_a enough_o to_o heaviness_n and_o slowness_n of_o spirit_n and_o not_o unwillingnesr_n the_o continuance_n of_o the_o mean_n and_o be_v continual_o spur_v will_v remove_v that_o and_o make_v we_o at_o length_n to_o get_v as_o much_o as_o may_v testify_v and_o bear_v witness_n to_o our_o soul_n that_o indeed_o
keep_v man_n from_o their_o good_a when_o minister_n dehort_v from_o love_v the_o world_n man_n think_v it_o be_v that_o all_o may_v come_v to_o they_o it_o be_v not_o unlawful_a to_o take_v for_o that_o which_o a_o man_n lend_v for_o the_o preservation_n of_o the_o public_a no_o more_o than_o it_o be_v for_o a_o labourer_n to_o take_v money_n for_o make_v a_o fort_n to_o preserve_v it_o but_o covetousness_n in_o some_o man_n make_v they_o take_v money_n of_o other_o who_o have_v it_o for_o their_o own_o preservation_n i_o beseech_v you_o my_o belove_a cure_v but_o your_o heart_n of_o this_o distemper_n of_o covetousness_n and_o self_n seek_v seek_v nor_o great_a thing_n but_o just_a and_o righteous_a one_o for_o yourselves_o set_v a_o price_n upon_o they_o and_o then_o you_o will_v find_v that_o there_o be_v neither_o too_o much_o spend_v so_o far_o as_o have_v be_v lay_v out_o and_o employ_v that_o way_n nor_o be_v there_o any_o hard_a deal_n with_o you_o to_o call_v the_o charge_n to_o keep_v it_o the_o time_n have_v bring_v forth_o this_o manchild_n viz_o freedom_n from_o those_o that_o do_v labour_n to_o destroy_v and_o ruin_v you_o now_o my_o belove_a let_v there_o be_v nothing_o want_v when_o ireland_n call_v upon_o you_o that_o you_o will_v help_v they_o distribute_v free_o when_o as_o the_o necessity_n of_o this_o nation_n call_v upon_o you_o to_o relieve_v it_o give_v it_o as_o free_o why_o because_o you_o must_v beware_v of_o covetousness_n and_o it_o be_v covetousness_n for_o a_o man_n not_o to_o lay_v out_o what_o ever_o he_o have_v for_o god_n to_o the_o use_n which_o god_n call_v it_o for_o object_n be_v a_o man_n to_o reserve_v nothing_o for_o himself_o that_o i_o will_v answer_v afterward_o when_o i_o come_v to_o the_o case_n of_o this_o point_n this_o be_v certain_a that_o a_o public_a good_a be_v to_o be_v preserve_v before_o a_o private_a and_o your_o happiness_n be_v more_o in_o do_v good_a to_o a_o kingdom_n then_o in_o provide_v for_o your_o own_o family_n you_o get_v more_o yourselves_o for_o if_o there_o be_v a_o do_v of_o much_o good_a there_o shall_v be_v a_o offer_v up_o on_o your_o behalf_n many_o prayer_n and_o those_o god_n will_v hear_v a_o man_n have_v better_o be_v rich_a in_o prayer_n then_o rich_a in_o jewel_n he_o do_v more_o for_o a_o man_n that_o pray_v to_o god_n to_o take_v care_n for_o he_o than_o he_o do_v for_o himself_o that_o keep_v thousand_o take_v heed_n and_o beware_v of_o covetousness_n when_o god_n have_v save_v you_o so_o miraculous_o suffer_v not_o yourselves_o to_o be_v destroy_v by_o a_o base_a lust_n when_o you_o have_v give_v so_o free_o before_o for_o liberty_n and_o freedom_n do_v not_o loose_v it_o for_o a_o penny_n more_o he_o be_v a_o fool_n that_o come_v in_o man_n spirit_n that_o it_o may_v first_o or_o last_o rob_v a_o man_n of_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n at_o the_o least_o if_o it_o do_v not_o do_v he_o a_o ill_a turn_n at_o the_o present_a in_o this_o life_n chap._n viii_o covetousness_n hard_a to_o be_v discover_v be_v a_o spiritual_a sin_n and_o lie_v so_o near_o upon_o the_o horder_n of_o duty_n a_o act_n may_v be_v do_v that_o seem_v contrary_a to_o covetousness_n and_o yet_o the_o man_n be_v covetous_a though_o the_o end_n seem_v to_o be_v against_o covetousness_n a_o man_n may_v be_v covetous_a in_o desire_v quest_n but_o how_o may_v this_o covetousness_n be_v discern_v answ_n it_o be_v hard_a to_o be_v discover_v it_o grow_v between_o the_o stone_n of_o the_o temple_n between_o the_o saint_n themselves_o it_o be_v a_o sin_n that_o blind_v the_o judgement_n as_o gift_n blind_a the_o eye_n of_o the_o wise_a it_o be_v a_o more_o than_o ordinary_a crafty_a and_o deceitful_a sin_n therefore_o they_o be_v call_v deceitful_a riches_n in_o '_o mark._n 4.19_o and_o it_o be_v use_v in_o the_o similitude_n of_o care_n and_o providence_n and_o faithfulness_n to_o the_o opportunity_n god_n put_v into_o a_o man_n hand_n it_o be_v a_o spiritual_a sin_n bear_v in_o the_o heart_n and_o may_v live_v there_o without_o break_v forth_o into_o any_o external_a evil_a acts._n as_o hypocrisy_n be_v hard_o to_o be_v discover_v because_o it_o be_v between_o god_n and_o a_o man_n own_o soul_n so_o be_v covetousness_n because_o it_o may_v be_v and_o yet_o no_o external_a evil_a act_n do_v for_o it_o lie_v in_o a_o inordinate_a desire_n a_o man_n may_v do_v all_o that_o be_v good_a he_o may_v neglect_v no_o duty_n of_o religion_n nor_o transgress_v any_o law_n of_o justice_n in_o his_o call_n and_o yet_o notwistanding_n be_v covetous_a therefore_o in_o 1._o cor._n 5.11_o he_o distinguish_v covetousness_n from_o extortion_n or_o unjust_a gain_n it_o be_v a_o sin_n that_o lie_v so_o near_o the_o border_n of_o duty_n that_o upon_o earthly_a thing_n for_o spiritual_a end_n earthly_a thing_n can_v be_v necessary_a end_n riches_n be_v profitable_a and_o necessary_a only_o in_o a_o degree_n in_o regard_n of_o external_a circumstance_n as_o if_o a_o man_n think_v he_o can_v carry_v himself_o as_o a_o member_n of_o christ_n nor_o do_v as_o religion_n require_v of_o he_o without_o such_o a_o estate_n he_o be_v guilty_a before_o god_n child_n be_v good_a but_o if_o you_o must_v have_v they_o or_o else_o you_o die_v you_o over_o love_v they_o so_o if_o you_o think_v you_o must_v have_v riches_n or_o else_o you_o can_v walk_v with_o god_n as_o you_o shall_v do_v you_o fall_v into_o covetousness_n which_o be_v a_o great_a sin_n for_o it_o make_v the_o service_n of_o god_n depend_v upon_o thing_n which_o be_v of_o
