plain_a testimony_n of_o god_n word_n whereby_o we_o have_v already_o prove_v sincere_a obedience_n to_o be_v a_o duty_n so_o require_v therefore_o sincere_a obedience_n to_o the_o lord_n be_v and_o must_v be_v the_o condition_n of_o the_o covenant_n promise_v of_o eternal_a life_n and_o glory_n if_o our_o author_n or_o any_o for_o he_o shall_v say_v that_o it_o be_v true_a sincere_a obedience_n covenant-promise_n of_o eternal_a life_n and_o glory_n be_v still_o conditional_a and_o faith_n continue_v and_o persevere_v in_o to_o the_o end_n which_o be_v that_o sincere_a obedience_n to_o the_o lord_n command_n of_o believe_v be_v the_o condition_n of_o it_o for_o the_o definition_n and_o essential_a nature_n of_o a_o gospel-condition_n agree_v to_o faith_n under_o that_o consideration_n 2._o we_o reply_v that_o the_o sincere_a obedience_n which_o consist_v in_o the_o formal_a elicit_v act_n or_o act_n of_o believe_v be_v not_o all_o the_o sincere_a obedience_n which_o be_v require_v some_o obedience_n be_v require_v as_o aforesaid_a beside_o the_o act_n of_o faith_n this_o proposition_n be_v self-evident_a because_o no_o obedience_n but_o the_o act_n of_o faith_n and_o some_o obedience_n beside_o the_o act_n of_o faith_n be_v manifest_a contradictory_n and_o two_o contradictory_n can_v possible_o be_v both_o true_a nor_o both_o false_a but_o one_o of_o they_o must_v always_o be_v true_a and_o the_o other_o false_a and_o it_o can_v possible_o be_v otherwise_o this_o be_v clear_a and_o undeniable_a we_o proceed_v to_o the_o next_o proposition_n and_o subsume_v
