proper_a title_n of_o christ_n and_o here_o to_o be_v take_v for_o he_o as_o also_o to_o show_v what_o they_o signify_v in_o he_o indeed_o the_o apostle_n in_o his_o second_o epistle_n to_o the_o corinthian_n 3_o chapter_n insist_o much_o in_o extol_v both_o the_o light_n and_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o in_o the_o four_o verse_n of_o the_o next_o chapter_n speak_v of_o the_o light_n of_o the_o glorious_a gospel_n but_o he_o immediate_o imitate_v whence_o it_o have_v this_o light_n and_o glory_n the_o glorious_a gospel_n of_o christ_n say_v he_o who_o be_v the_o image_n of_o god_n so_o that_o it_o be_v most_o unnecessary_a to_o inquire_v whether_o the_o messiah_n or_o the_o word_n that_o reveal_v he_o be_v rather_o here_o couch_v under_o these_o term_n of_o light_n and_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o lord_n these_o two_o agree_v so_o well_o altogether_o and_o these_o word_n agree_v so_o well_o to_o they_o both_o that_o it_o be_v a_o injury_n to_o attempt_v to_o all_o the_o child_n of_o god_n upon_o ground_n that_o be_v peculiar_a to_o they_o from_o all_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o world_n but_o common_a to_o they_o all_o in_o all_o age_n and_o all_o variety_n of_o condition_n it_o be_v true_a all_o of_o they_o have_v not_o a_o like_a clear_a and_o firm_a apprehension_n of_o their_o happy_a and_o sure_a estate_n and_o scarce_o any_o of_o they_o be_v alike_o at_o all_o time_n yet_o they_o have_v all_o and_o always_o the_o same_o right_n to_o this_o estate_n and_o to_o the_o comfort_n of_o it_o and_o when_o they_o stand_v in_o a_o right_a light_n to_o view_v it_o they_o do_v see_v it_o so_o and_o rejoice_v in_o it_o there_o be_v indeed_o some_o kind_n of_o assurance_n that_o be_v more_o rare_a and_o extraordinary_a some_o immediate_a glance_n or_o christ_n and_o in_o he_o eternal_a life_n we_o so_o it_o be_v the_o proper_a result_n and_o fruit_n of_o that_o its_o act_n especial_o when_o it_o act_v any_o thing_n strong_o to_o quiet_a the_o soul_n in_o he_o then_o be_v justify_v by_o faith_n we_o have_v peace_n with_o god_n through_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o from_o that_o peace_n joy_n yea_o even_o glory_v in_o tribulation_n as_o there_o follow_v and_o these_o spring_a not_o from_o a_o extraordinary_a sense_n or_o view_v but_o from_o the_o very_a innate_a virtue_n of_o faith_n work_v kind_o and_o according_a to_o its_o own_o nature_n therefore_o many_o christian_n do_v prejudice_v their_o own_o comfort_n and_o darken_v their_o spirit_n by_o not_o give_v freedom_n to_o faith_n to_o act_v according_a to_o its_o
