mankind_n in_o all_o nation_n he_o make_v they_o suitable_a to_o humane_a nature_n or_o all_o mankind_n therein_o and_o look_v as_o national_a law_n bind_v not_o mere_o by_o the_o mere_a will_n of_o the_o lawgiver_n but_o from_o the_o 12._o goodness_n and_o suitableness_n in_o the_o thing_n unto_o their_o common_a good_a so_o here_o moral_a law_n which_o concern_v all_o nation_n bind_v not_o that_o the_o sabbath_n be_v not_o moral_a and_o this_o he_o will_v prove_v because_o the_o sabbath_n be_v not_o simple_o and_o entire_o moral_a which_o be_v a_o most_o feeble_a and_o weak_a consequence_n and_o this_o he_o prove_v because_o the_o sabbath_n day_n have_v in_o respect_n of_o its_o inward_a nature_n no_o more_o holiness_n and_o goodness_n than_o any_o other_o day_n all_o themselves_o because_o suitable_a and_o congruous_a to_o humane_a nature_n for_o there_o be_v a_o decency_n and_o sweet_a comeliness_n to_o attend_v to_o those_o rule_n to_o which_o our_o relation_n bind_v we_o for_o from_o this_o ground_n the_o prophet_n malachy_n call_v for_o fear_n and_o honour_n of_o god_n as_o moral_a duty_n because_o they_o be_v so_o comely_a and_o seemly_a for_o we_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o relation_n between_o we_o if_o i_o be_v your_o lord_n and_o master_n and_o father_n where_o be_v my_o fear_n where_o be_v my_o honour_n mal._n 1.6_o love_v also_o between_o man_n and_o wife_n be_v press_v as_o a_o comely_a duty_n by_o the_o apostle_n from_o that_o near_a relation_n between_o they_o be_v make_v one_o flesh_n ephes._n 5.28_o 29._o there_o be_v scarce_o any_o who_o question_n the_o morality_n of_o the_o duty_n of_o the_o second_o table_n because_o they_o be_v so_o evident_o comely_a suitable_a and_o agreeable_a to_o humane_a nature_n consider_v relative_o because_o the_o relation_n between_o god_n and_o man_n which_o make_v they_o comely_a and_o suitable_a to_o man_n be_v not_o so_o well_o consider_v for_o if_o there_o be_v a_o god_n and_o this_o god_n worhsip_n according_a to_o the_o second_o commandment_n and_o to_o worship_v he_o with_o all_o holy_a reverence_n according_a to_o the_o three_o commandment_n and_o if_o he_o must_v be_v thus_o worship_v and_o yet_o at_o all_o time_n in_o respect_n of_o our_o necessary_a worldly_a employment_n can_v be_v so_o solemn_o honour_v and_o worship_v as_o be_v comely_a and_o meet_a for_o so_o great_a a_o god_n then_o it_o be_v very_o fit_a and_o comely_a for_o all_o man_n to_o have_v some_o set_v and_o state_v time_n of_o worship_n according_a to_o some_o fit_a proportion_n which_o the_o day_n and_o rest_v a_o leventh_n be_v a_o moral_a because_o a_o comely_a and_o suitable_a duty_n that_o because_o herein_o man_n follow_v the_o example_n of_o god_n and_o become_v most_o like_a unto_o he_o and_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o a_o seven_o year_n of_o rest_n can_v be_v urge_v upon_o man_n to_o be_v as_o much_o moral_a as_o a_o seven_o day_n of_o rest_n because_o man_n have_v god_n example_n and_o pattern_n in_o rest_v a_o seven_o day_n but_o not_o in_o rest_v any_o seven_o year_n god_n never_o make_v himself_o a_o example_n of_o any_o ceremonial_a duty_n it_o be_v unsuitable_a to_o his_o glorious_a excellency_n so_o to_o do_v but_o only_o of_o moral_a and_o spiritual_a holiness_n and_o therefore_o there_o be_v somewhat_o else_o in_o a_o seven_o day_n that_o be_v not_o in_o appoint_v one_o for_o another_o unless_o any_o will_v think_v that_o no_o more_o holiness_n be_v require_v upon_o this_o day_n than_o while_o public_a worship_n continue_v which_o we_o hope_v shall_v appear_v to_o be_v a_o piece_n of_o profess_a profaneness_n in_o the_o mean_a while_n look_v as_o they_o have_v no_o reason_n to_o think_v that_o private_a worship_n be_v require_v in_o this_o command_n because_o the_o exercise_n of_o private_a worship_n be_v at_o this_o time_n require_v so_o they_o have_v as_o little_a reason_n to_o think_v that_o the_o public_a worship_n itself_o be_v herein_o enjoin_v because_o the_o exercise_n of_o it_o be_v to_o be_v also_o at_o such_o a_o time_n it_o be_v therefore_o the_o time_n not_o the_o worship_n itself_o either_o public_a or_o private_a which_o be_v here_o direct_o command_v although_o it_o be_v true_a that_o both_o of_o they_o be_v herein_o indirect_o require_v viz._n in_o relation_n to_o the_o time_n thesis_n 63._o if_o therefore_o the_o moral_a worship_n it_o self_n whether_o public_a external_a or_o private_a be_v not_o direct_o require_v in_o this_o four_o command_n much_o less_o be_v the_o whole_a ceremonial_a worship_n ceremonial_a worship_n which_o they_o say_v be_v here_o enjoin_v rather_o than_o his_o moral_a worship_n which_o they_o acknowledge_v to_o be_v enjoin_v in_o all_o the_o other_o nine_o command_n at_o above_o any_o other_o ordinary_a and_o common_a day_n what_o then_o can_v this_o day_n be_v but_o the_o christian_a sabbath_n impose_v by_o the_o apostle_n and_o magnify_v and_o honour_v by_o all_o the_o church_n in_o those_o day_n i_o know_v there_o be_v some_o other_o reply_v make_v to_o this_o scripture_n by_o master_n brabourne_n but_o they_o be_v wind-egge_n as_o plutarch_n call_v that_o philosopher_n notion_n and_o have_v but_o little_a in_o they_o and_o therefore_o i_o pass_v they_o by_o as_o i_o do_v many_o other_o thing_n in_o that_o book_n as_o not_o worth_a the_o time_n to_o not_o be_v unless_o we_o conclude_v a_o divine_a institution_n hereof_o for_o we_o know_v how_o zealous_a the_o holy_a apostle_n be_v every_o where_o to_o strike_v at_o humane_a custom_n and_o therefore_o can_v not_o lay_v a_o stumble_a block_n to_o occasion_n the_o grievous_a fall_n of_o church_n to_o allow_v and_o command_v they_o to_o observe_v a_o humane_a tradition_n and_o to_o sin_n the_o lord_n take_v the_o magistrate_n work_v into_o his_o own_o hand_n and_o many_o time_n cut_v they_o off_o sudden_o who_o profane_a his_o sabbath_n presumptuous_o and_o it_o be_v worth_a where_o there_o be_v no_o mean_n we_o shall_v this_o day_n long_o for_o it_o and_o prize_v it_o but_o because_o this_o can_v yet_o be_v and_o that_o the_o lord_n come_v down_o from_o heaven_n to_o the_o great_a mourning_n that_o they_o above_o all_o other_o shall_v trouble_v god_n rest_n wherein_o perhaps_o their_o soul_n have_v find_v so_o much_o rest_n or_o may_v have_v do_v that_o in_o these_o time_n wherein_o the_o lord_n jesus_n be_v come_v out_o to_o give_v unto_o his_o house_n his_o ordinance_n and_o unto_o his_o people_n his_o sabbath_n and_o day_n of_o rest_n every_o way_n that_o now_o they_o above_o all_o other_o shall_v offer_v to_o pull_v they_o out_o of_o his_o hand_n tread_v they_o under_o foot_n and_o hereby_o teach_v all_o the_o profane_a rout_n in_o the_o world_n to_o do_v the_o like_a with_o a_o quiet_a conscience_n and_o without_o any_o check_n by_o their_o reason_n that_o now_o when_o
